Kid & Pet-Friendly Rainbow Cottage in the Heart of Arco

Come visit my cozy, colorful, plant-filled, and delightfully quirky home right in the heart of Arco, Idaho!

Everyone is welcome here! This home is set up with pets, kids, babies, and creatures of all ages in mind.

This is not a sterile grey/beige spot or an IKEA setup. It’s a warm, lived-in space designed for families, adventurers, road-trippers, and anyone who wants to stay in a place that feels safe, relaxed, and inviting the moment you walk through the door. (Lamps are in every room, so you never have to brave the big fluorescent monsters.)

Traveling with little ones? I’ve got you covered.

My house has a dedicated kids’ room with a pull-out couch (sleeps two) and a crib. I can also provide an additional pack-and-play on request.

The kids' room also has a rocking chair, kids' books, and plenty of blankies so you can snuggle in. The kitchen is also equipped with a high chair that can be broken down into a small chair and table. Spare bottles, kids' utensils and plates, and wipes are available.

In the back, I have a fully-fenced backyard for safe play with kiddos & fluffy friends. Plenty of space to spread out, unwind, and be yourselves.

Need to set up a tent or 5? The fenced-in backyard is perfect for that, too!

If you're willing to brave a bit of a chill in the winter and spring, there is also an attached sunroom with two large and cozy couches.

Want a quiet night in? We've got a smart TV, a cozy couch, and plenty of blankets. Books, board games, and a welcoming “stay a while” vibe will also keep you entertained.

Want to get out? There's a bar just around the corner for the over-21 crowd or an adorable park with play equipment just down the road.

Need to work while you're here? A dedicated desk setup and fast Wifi will keep you in your workflow. (Or the coffee shop down the street is available if you need to get out and work.)

You'll have access to a full kitchen set up and a washer/dryer. Feel free to use any of the supplies in the pantry and make yourself at home! We've got all of the cutlery and dishes you could need.

Bring your furry friend along! With a fenced backyard, nearby park, and quiet streets, it’s an easy place for pets and people alike. There's also a carpet shampooer in the closet for any emergency messes.

You’ll be within walking distance of:
- Arco's only grocery store
- Trailhead Coffee Shop
- Tres Hermanos Mexican Restaurant
- A public park
- A gas station, the Family Dollar, and our local schools

Plus, you’re only a short drive from Craters of the Moon, incredible hiking, biking, and climbing, and the wide-open beauty Idaho is known for.
