The location was great and the apartment itself was wonderful! We enjoyed our visit to Cuxhaven. Communication with Maxim was excellent and much appreciated. We were surprised that we had to pay extra to have linens for the beds and towels for the washroom. Also there was no salt, pepper or other standard items that we have normally found in other vrbo properties. This was important for us as we came to Germany by airplane, and took the train to Cuxhaven. We could not bring additional items with us. We did appreciate the little jar of honey that was there, and the two special tea bags. It was a little awkward for us to have to get off the bus with our luggage to pick up the key from the office, and then either wait for the next bus to get to the apartment or walk the additional 1.3 km to get there (after a 9 hour train ride). We were very tired. There was the same issue when we left. If we had come by car we could easily have brought our own linens, towels etc and could have easily stopped at the office for the key. I know they had free parking.
