Blue Moon is a quiet, riverfront cabin with a screened porch where you can listen to the New River flowing over the rocks. Just 2 miles from the New River Trail for hiking and biking, 7 miles to Draper Mercantile for a great restaurant, conery, gift shops, and bike rentals (right on the trail), and not far from Claytor Lake State Park. Great for a peaceful getaway. No pets, smoking/vaping, or parties. Quiet hours 9pm to 8am.

We want to make sure you have the utmost
convenience! You'll be provided an access code to the back entrance prior to
check-in. The owners are local, and will be able to be reached by platform
messaging during the duration of your stay.

Blue Moon is about 2 miles from the New River Trail (for hiking and biking).
The Draper Mercantile is 7 miles away, and has a wonderful restaurant, conery, and gift shops, and rents bicycles. The Mercantile is on the New River Trail.
Claytor Lake State Park is not far away.
The New River (in the back yard) is perfect for kayaking, tubing and fishing. Sitting on the screened porch, listening to the sound of the river flowing over the rocks, is so beautiful and serene.

- The house is located on a quiet street, please be courteous of the neighbors and keep noise levels low.
- Do not run heating or air conditioning with doors open.
- Ensure all windows and doors are locked when checking out.
- Parties are not allowed, and will not be tolerated. Guests who violate quiet hours (9pm-8am) will be notified once, and then asked to leave on the second violation.

- Sign out of streaming services before leaving.

Bed sizes: 1 King bed

Bathrooms: 1 ensuite full bathroom with tile shower and jacuzzi tub. There is a washer and dryer off of the bathroom
Cleaners storage area location: There is a locked closet on the screened porch.
Back up pillows and blankets: There are 2 throws, but we can easily arrange to put back up pillows and blankets in the bedroom.
Breaker Box location: Thinking it is in the bedroom, behind the door.

Take I-81 in Virginia to exit 89A for VA – 100S toward Hillsville 0.2 miles;
Merge onto State Hwy 100 S/VA +1—100S 300 feet;
Keep left to continue on State Hwy. 100 S 3.4 miles;
Turn left onto State Rte 609 1.2 miles;
Continue straight onto State Rte 653 0.8 miles;
Turn sharp right onto Ledge Rock Rd. 350 feet;
Arrive 3677 Ledge Rock Rd, Draper, VA 24324 on left.

-Propane (for grill use):
1. There MAY BE a propane tank available at the house.
2. If you see a tank, you may use it for the grill.
3. If the tank is empty, guests are responsible for refilling it.
4. We DO NOT provide propane refills.
