Private Pool,Hot tub!Snorkel Gear,Bikes, BBQ.Digital Nomad set-up.Many amenities

I've lived all over the United States in my almost 74 years on this Earth and I really love to shore snorkel! After a month-long solo road trip in October 2018 centered around shore snorkeling with my southernmost stop in Xcalak, just north of Belize, I decided that Cozumel was the place I wanted to return to again and again.
I finally bought a two-bedroom 2 1/2 bath house here and converted it into a duplex. I had owned a duplex in the Hot Springs district of Truth or Consequences New Mexico where I had a successful vacation rental business and decided to give that a go here. Although the duplex reserved for guests is occupied by my friends/family more often than it is by paying guests, I rent it out when I go back to the United States for my grandkids' birthdays or Christmas or other reasons.
It's nice to know that a select few people can enjoy the bright, colorful space of the vacation rental while taking advantage of the private pool, hot tub, BBQ grill, and all the other amenities i have provided the space with. With all three of my vacation rentals, I have always tried to furnish it in the same way I would want it to be if I were staying there.
My friends who come to stay all seem to relax So much that they have very few suggestions for improvement, but I definitely pay special attention if they do. I hope you enjoy being here too... I do occasionally decide to rent it when I'm here but not on VRBO of course.

The island of Cozumel is situated in the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the 2nd largest in the world. It is renowned for both scuba diving and snorkeling, but is also home to several Ironman and bicycle race events. The ocean water temperature is comfortable year-round, snorkeling and swimming, and I fell in love with it because of all of the easy shore snorkeling available.
Because it is a tourist town, quite a few locals do speak some English, and it is in general, a very friendly and relaxed vibe.

Privacy! I rented through VRBO, the place is all yours. I only went through VRBO the times that I am away from home. Plus high ceilings, 2 separate patios. So many amenities that if you check them all off it will show that there is no place that matches .
So many places I looked at had low ceilings and dark rooms and I was immediately struck by the high ceilings and airiness and light of this place. (which meant I had to buy some high quality blackout curtains for the bedroom! : )
I like the large patio where you can sit on the locally crafted, modified Adirondack chairs with table and enjoy the scene going by. I also like that you can walk around the corner of the house to a private patio where the pool, hot tub and chaise lounge is located along with another couple of modified Adirondack chairs and tables. Here you can hide away from the world!
And yet you are only a 6-minute bicycle ride to the ocean where you can use any of the provided snorkel sets to enjoy the wonderful temperature of the ocean year-round.
