Family getaway

We’ve stayed at this property several times and have enjoyed it every time. The on site amenities are nice as well as the proximity to Disney.

Lovely

Second time booking this townhouse, again very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Resort is very well maintained, and felt very secure. Pool was a nice temperature and not overcrowded.It made for a lovely holiday.

Good Location/Decent rental

Condo is located in a gated community with a shared pool. Close to amenities. Complex is managed well; property common areas all maintained. Condo itself could use a renovation soon. A bit of wear on furniture, appliances, flooring, etc. Everything functions though and met our needs. Overall a comfortable stay. Be prepared to stick your hand out of the shower several times as you bathe. Surprise! The bathroom light is on a motion timer that shuts off every 45 seconds leaving you in the dark with shampoo in your eyes! Easy to check in and communication with host. Did not experience any problems. This condo backs onto a wooded space so no housing behind you. That added a nice privacy to the stay. Pool and lounge area is located behind the complex on the opposite side of street. Very short walk and conveniently located to this condo. We had a pleasant stay and would recommend this unit to others.

Great location

The property was very clean and had everything that we needed. Having all of the linen provided was a great perk because it meant more room in our car. The kids loved the pool after a long day at the parks. The location was fantastic and very easy to get to all of the parks. Really enjoyed our stay!

The bed in the main broken. I was told it would be replaced Friday I left Sunday and it still hasn't been done.

Very clean, great location

This condo was one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at. The kitchen items like pots, pans, glasses, etc were all in good shape and not past their use like often seen in rentals. There were tons of towels and small toiletries were provided. We brought our own trash bags, extra toilet paper, and laundry detergent, which we used up. We had an issue with a broken bed frame, left a message with maintenance, and they came to fix it immediately the next day. The beds are older and not super comfortable but again, everything was so clean and well kept that it wasn’t bothersome. Location was great. Gated community with a pool and tennis courts. 15 minutes to Disney parks. We prepaid for the parking pass and they had it ready for us at the main gate.

A total disaster!!! Move along!

Check-in at the front gate was a breeze. Upon opening the door to the rental unit, we were met with a very stale odor. We would normally go in and sanitize the unit but in this instance, we had to go in, sanitize and clean the unit as it was filthy. The entire unit had hair all over the floors. Traveling with a four year old, this was more of an inconvenience than expected, as it seemed as if no matter how many time we swept the floor, there was still more hair. On Christmas day he wanted to get on the floor and play with his toys but we were constantly asking him to get off of the floor, as they were filthy and there was no mop in sight. The carpets were filthy and the bathrooms looked as if they were only wiped down. There was hair all over the floors and on the walls of the tub area. The bed in the master bedroom broke on the first night(the wheels broke off while one individual was sitting in the bed), in which we left a voicemail for the property maintenance team, as the owner advised that he does not live in the area. The maintenance member showed up unannounced and advised us that we would need to put the mattress on the floor and sleep on the floor and left. He did not attempt to reconcile the situation whatsoever. DIABOLICAL!!! Being that we booked the unit for three nights, the individual slept on the floor for two nights. The curtains in the living room were FILTHY, the flower by the dining room table has major dust build up and the entire unit needs upgrading.

Great location & wonderful communication

We arrived just after hurricane Milton and had excellent communication. The home is very comfortable and in a wonderful location. Highly recommend and would gladly stay here again if available.

Good value property close to Disney

The description of this property is accurate and the resort within which it is located is of a high standard. Though the apartment is a little dated, it is functional and has been maintained well. Considering the price, it represents good value. It is within 15 minutes of Disney World and plenty of shops, restaurants and the all important Wal-Mart is within 10 minutes. Apartment was well appointed, though lacking oven trays which was a minor inconvenience. This place had more towels than you could ever need and Wi-Fi was fast, reliable and easy to coobect to. Would be pleased to stay here again.

Favorite place to stay in Kissimmee

This is our 3rd stay at this townhouse in Emerald Island Resort. We love the area. It’s close to everything. The pools are great. The townhouse has everything we need for a week away from home.

Good location, Lacking in Areas

Overall, we liked the location and space of this property. It was very close to Disney, and we enjoyed the easy access to the Disney bubble. However, we were missing some basic amenities that we’ve always had at a VRBO. We ended up needing to buy more trash bags, laundry detergent, tissues, and hand soap because there were only a few provided. We always needed to buy wash rags because there was none provided. We probably ended up spending $50-75 in things we needed for a 7 day stay. Perhaps we should have planned this, but I’ve never had to get these things in other VRBO’s. This has nothing to do with the VRBO, but the staff at the resort were very difficult to work with. Our key access to get in stopped working several times, and they were pretty rude to us about it. Maintenance also never came to remove a large wasp nest next to our front door. But we did really enjoy our stay, and it was good for what we needed. If you need a place close to Disney, this will be a good close stay for you, but perhaps bring extra supplies.

Frustrating and poor start

Difficult time checking in. Gate house is not on way to property address. Called management to get clarification, went to voicemail.... After 20 minutes of reading emails, figured it out. Property agreement comes from property, not VRBO, went to junk mail. Entered unit, found 3 dead cockroaches on kitchen floor, stairs, and bath floor. Needed to wash some clothes, wash machine did not spin. Lid switch completely missing. Called management, went to voicemail. Called again two days later, went to voicemail. Owner stated after checkin not to call him. He is not local and cannot help. Finally got a text from management they recd call, but never got service. Had to wear dirty clothes for weekend. VRBO notes stated all condo info in white binder. Never found a binder. If everything goes well, probably a nice unit. If you need service, leave a voicemail, don't call the owner.

No toilet paper, No air conditioning

Nice accommodation, very close to pool and hot tub on grounds, Close to disney. No Air conditioning! No toilet paper! After travelling a very long day we had to go find a somewhere to buy toilet paper.. should be enough on site to get through at least a night. We managed with no air conditioning but it would have been more comfortable with it.

Convenient, quiet, safe

I had a lovely stay here. The property is very convenient to Disney Parks. It is quiet with lush grounds. Nice pool and walking trails. The townhouse is roomy and a well supplied kitchen. Definitely would recommend this property and hope to stay again soon.

Townhouse stay February 2023

We had a nice stay. The property was as advertised. It was clean with no bugs. AC was cold. Kitchen was adequately equipped with a Kuerig and a drip coffee maker. There were plenty of towels but we couldn’t find linens for the sleeper sofa, so we bought sheets. The neighborhood pool was within easy walking distance. We drove to the clubhouse pool/tiki bar. The staff were all very friendly. Only con is the mattresses in the secondary bedrooms and the sleeper sofa were uncomfortable.

Nice place close to All attractions

Nice VRBO condo. Plenty of space in dining / living area to host a family gathering . A little dated but plenty of appliances , cookware , dishes and towels . Needed an outside light - very dark to check in .

Property was as described, though some of the supplies were damaged (for example a broken wine glasses still in the cupboard or the frying pan loosing it's handle). But all in all, a great place to vacation to
