Morten and Mckenzie Bruhn, a husband-and-wife team and parents to three active young children, purchased The Woodsman Lodge in spring 2025. After a full renovation, the lodge reopened in July 2025, and since then, they have loved hosting guestsâboth newcomers and those who have cherished the lodge for many yearsâcreating a welcoming home away from home for everyone.
Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
We love the location and neighborhood for its incredible Ozark Mountain views and the abundance of natureâdeer, squirrels, and birds all around in the trees and woods. The sunsets are stunning, and the lodge is just a 5-minute drive to downtown, with walkability to the nearby brewery for live music and weekend entertainment. Itâs also close to local attractions like Thorncrown Chapel and Lake Leatherwood, offering fishing, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Plus, being on the trolley route means you can easily explore town without driving.
