Unlike the more crowded resort areas, Bermuda Dunes maintains a quiet, residential charm with spacious lots and stunning mountain views. It allows me to provide guests with a peaceful sanctuary that is still only a 10-minute drive from the Empire Polo Club (home to Coachella and Stagecoach) and the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
The scene here is "Desert Casual." You’ll see golf carts humming along the streets, palm trees silhouetted against neon-pink sunsets, and a clear view of the San Jacinto Mountains.
Because the neighborhood is centered around the famous Bermuda Dunes Country Club—a favorite of Clark Gable and Arnold Palmer—there is a sense of "Old Hollywood" history mixed with modern desert living. It’s a place where the mornings are silent enough to hear your coffee brewing and the nights are dark enough to see every star in the sky.
What I love most is the unbeatable convenience. I can spend the morning hiking the nearby Bump and Grind trail, grab lunch at a local spot on Highway 111, and be back in my pool by 1:00 PM.
