à propos de cet hébergement
Family Retreat at the Lazy S Cabin - 3 Living Spaces
Enjoy the Lazy S Cabin, a four bedroom, two bath mountain home in Duck Creek Village. The cabin features two living areas, two fireplaces, a pool table, shuffleboard, strong wifi, and a fully stocked kitchen with a coffee bar. The backyard has a lighted fire pit, horseshoes, and a swing set. Spacious enough for multiple families, it is perfect for guests who want comfort and forest views.
THE SPACE
The front room is cozy with a fireplace and soft seating for quiet mornings or peaceful evenings. The main living area is an airy addition with floor to wall windows that look out into the pines. This bright space includes a second fireplace, a pool table, and a game table, giving guests a relaxed place to gather.
The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, plenty of tools, and everything you need to prepare breakfast, dinner, and anything in between. The island adds extra space for cooking and serving, and the coffee bar with a Keurig machine makes mornings simple and relaxed.
The basement offers even more room to spread out with shuffleboard and a futon that works well as an extra sleeping area. The cabin also has strong and reliable wifi for streaming, working, or planning your next adventure.
In the backyard, guests can enjoy a lighted fire pit area, horseshoes, and a swing set. The setting is peaceful and private while still close to lakes, trails, and the natural beauty of the area. Visitors also have easy access to Zion, Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks, and winter skiing at Brian Head.
This home is ideal for a large family or multiple families because of its generous layout and multiple living areas. With comfortable bedrooms and thoughtful touches throughout, the Lazy S Cabin offers a restful and enjoyable place to experience Duck Creek Village.
Winter Travelers (please read)
Welcome to Duck Creek Village at 8500 feet. It is beautiful here in the winter, and the snow makes the cabin feel calm and cozy, but a little preparation goes a long way toward making your trip safe and smooth.
Before you travel, it is helpful to check current road and weather conditions. The UDot app and Wunderground (use zip code 84762) give the most up to date information. If a winter storm is moving through, waiting it out is always the safest choice.
Once snow is on the ground, Highway 14 and the gravel roads in the village may be snowy or icy. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is needed, and tire chains are a good idea to bring. The cabin driveway will be plowed after significant snowfall, and snowplow crews usually take care of guests who are checking in or out first, then everyone staying mid visit.
Power outages do not happen often, but if they do, please reach out and we will keep you updated. There are flash lights throughout the house, just in case.
If you plan to arrive after dark, keep in mind that services in the village are limited at night, so planning ahead is helpful. Duck Creek is a small mountain community, and we want your winter stay to be relaxing, safe, and enjoyable.
If you have questions before your trip or want help planning your arrival, feel free to reach out. We are happy to make your visit as smooth as possible.
