Thanks for your review Bethany The check in information is listed within the property information and was restated 4 days prior to your arrival. Also while there is no closet for use in the master there is a u it behind door and it has more than one hanger. Also there are 4 additional closets within the property with several hangers for use. Not to mention an entire Bonus room that isn’t listed or pictured in the property description that is larger than any of the bedrooms. This is very frustrating for me

First off, I choose to protect my investment by personally meeting my guests and conducting a tour to orient them with safety features, amenities and background of the home. I find that guest usually appreciate this as it answers most questions that would have come later and save times looking. I am able to go over house rules as well. Meredith rented the home however she sent others to check in for her which is normally something I’m not in agreement with but I allowed it. There are no dishes in the entire home that are not available for guest to use. There are however, some that are not dishwasher safe and need to be hand washed because of their fragility. Those are separated and totally at the discretion of the guest. Guest towels are readily available and 2 sets were left on each bed with extras in the closet. There are decorative towels in the bathrooms but shouldn’t be addressed as Meredith and her guests did not even use all of the towels left for them. Why are decorative items an issue ? The true issue is that Meredith’s guest decided to take the protective covering off of one of the beds without permission. If it was for comfort that could have been addressed with me and maybe an alternative could have been reached. If the covering wasn’t damaged, then why wasn’t it placed back on. When renting anything from anywhere, the expectation is to return items as you found them. Who goes to someone’s home and removes/ defaces or damages something and doesn’t see fit to replace them? It doesn’t matter what you think of it, if it doesn’t belong to you, you don’t have the right. Protective covering/ mattress protectors are to protect my investment and to protect my guests from bedbugs, bodily fluid exchanges and the such. I had guest checking in on the next day and was inconvenienced by having to track down and purchase a replacement. She should be responsible for repayment. I will seek damages regardless of the small amount. It’s the principle. Don’t damage what doesn’t belong to you!

You would say this after you left my home a mess and broke several rules allowing several unauthorized guests including additional children after I extended the courtesy of allowing children as well as a late check out at 2 pm with no additional charge when checkout is 11am. Thanks but when you know that you’re wrong this is what people do
