Maison de bord de mer récemment rénovée sur John’s Pond, dans le quartier paisible et convivial de Briarwood.

Des vues spectaculaires de chaque chambre, chacune avec un curseur pour accéder à la plate-forme surdimensionnée à l'étang. Profitez de votre café du matin tout en regardant le lever du soleil ou détendez-vous le soir en regardant le reflet de la lune sur le lac par un foyer ouvert. Jouez à des jeux de société dans le grenier ou évadez-vous pour lire un livre et vous détendre. Que diriez-vous d'un jeu de maïs à côté de l'eau? Les enfants et les adultes adorent le radeau gonflable.

Cette propriété a toutes les commodités de Cape Cod sans le trafic. Situé à seulement 15 minutes sur le pont de Borne à Mashpee.

Second stay at this comfortable, water front, well maintained home. Lovely sandy beach area with kayaks etc. and a raft to swim to. So relaxing! Hosts Brad and Pam are always reachable and responsive. Highly recommend.

Great vacation getaway

This property was extremely clean and had everything that we needed for cooking and water toys for our 10 year old grandson and also my adult children to have fun. We recommend staying here if you want a lake and ocean experience. If you are looking for peace and quite this is also the place. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic Pondfront Home

The property is amazing with great views from every room, and the experience is made all the better by numerous amenities for recreational activities on the pond and incredibly hospitable hosts in Brad and Pam. My family is looking forward to our return.

A 5 Star Gem in Mashpee! We want to return!

We had the best most relaxing week! There were 7 of us, from two 9 yr olds to grandparents. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would! The house was extremely clean, very comfortable and super spacious for the 3 generations we had there. Comfy living room with a big screen TV, gorgeous decks (there are more than 1), well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms, loft space for our games and jigsaw puzzles, great dining space inside and out, and the private beach! We spent most of the time on their private beach and the kids (both generations) loved the floating trampoline for swimming and playing around on and the dock for fishing, and we enjoyed sitting in the comfortable lounge chairs watching the kids enjoy the pond. The bird life on the pond is excellent.The best part was meeting our hosts, Brad and Pam, who are truly lovely people and on the spot if needed. Brad learned that our grandchildren loved to fish so made sure there were new kid-friendly fishing poles for them to use. Ditto tennis balls and pickleball rackets (there’s a nearby court for use as association members). We were even lucky enough to take a ride on their pontoon boat to allow the kids to go tubing! The Oasis of Mashpee is a wonderful place to spend a week with the family and we’d love to return.

Great Vacation

The property was exactly as described. Brad was always available to answer any questions and provide suggestions for local activities. The property’s beach was fantastic as that is where we spent the majority of our time. Fire pit and the large amount of available fire wood were an appreciated touch.

Beautiful and fun!

This property is a wonderful spot for family and friends. The pond is actually a lake! The deck and beach are wonderful. The house is well equipped and the hosts are available and helpful with anything you might need. Tennis, pickle ball, kayaks, a canoe and lots of other toys. Great place!

Family Vacation

We had a great week on John’s Pond. We enjoyed the lake activities (e.g., kayaks, canoes, paddle board) as well as access to the private association beach. The house had plenty of room for family and friends to sleep and it was very comfortable. Brad was always available when I had questions and he took my son and I on his pontoon boat.

Love returning here again and again

I have stayed here before with our family and loved it. This time, we returned with a group of friends. Plenty of space for all of us, a great fire pit to enjoy at night, and a spectacular view of the lake. I love the location of this house to get to the ocean too. It’s just a short drive. I can’t say enough about the hosts. They’re super friendly, answer any questions we have, and give recommendations of places to go or restaurants in the area. We will definitely return again! It’s one of our favorite places to vacation.

Wonderful week

This cute, comfortable house was the perfect set up for our family. Plenty of room to hang out inside (for games, movies, relaxing) and outside (FABULOUS deck overlooking John's pond ideal for everything from morning coffee to evening cocktails). Direct access to a sandy beach with kayaks, canoe, SUP and fire pit. Hosts Brad and Pam were extremely generous and attentive hosts. Already looking forward to a return trip in the future.

1 week Vacation on John’s pond

We had a fabulous time In You home ..Thank you !! Home was very clean and well stocked. We had everything we need for a week on the cape . Loved the pond and all the toys that was supplied to enjoy it . Had my coffee every morning on the deck overlooking the pond . I would absolutely recommend this home .. Beautiful Getaway

Our week here was amazing! From the moment we walked in, we felt relaxed and welcome. The rooms were clean and bright. We spent every morning and every night out on the big deck taking in the amazing view of the lake. There was plenty of room for our whole family. The location was perfect. We could choose to swim in the lake or take a very short drive and swim in the ocean - the best of both worlds. Next year we are bringing our boat! We will definitely be back and plan to make this our annual getaway place!

Lovely week at the pond

Three couples + two kids had a fantastic week swimming, playing with the plentiful water toys, grilling, and enjoying the spacious deck for both meals and sunning/reading. The bedrooms are spacious though fyi the downstairs only has one bathroom for 2 bedrooms so be prepared to share. There is always the hall bathroom upstairs as backup. The owners are communicative, generous, and ready to help if any needs arise. Fantastic all around.

Another Great Stay!

We rented this property once before for a longer trip and returned for a very obvious reason. The house is amazing , very spacious and clean with great views. Pam was wonderful with getting back with us when we had questions. We have told some friends about this place and they loved it just as much as we do. This will be our go to place when we go back to Cape Cod. We have done our research and have found this to be an amazing deal. For the price and what you get, you can not ask for anything more. Thank you Brad once again for accommodating us and making our family trip so enjoyable.

House was awesome on a beautiful lake and location was minutes from all the stores

We REALLY REALLY enjoyed our stay at this house. Everything was clean and as advertised. Beautiful lake front view w dock which my daughters and I really enjoyed fishing on and caught quite a few fish on! I can’t say enough about Pam and Brad ( owners ) they were always checking on us if we needed anything and always offering us different ideas and if we needed anything they were right there.. They even brought us some seafood to eat and took us on a boat ride that my daughter really enjoyed.. like one of the reviews said before i rented the house I would have to agree and wish we hung out w them even more.. Honestly can’t say enough about them.. awesome awesome people and we will be renting again w them in the future. Thanks guys and God bless you

Private Beach Playground on John’s PondSUP

We have been renting summer homes on the Cape for a weeklong family vacation over the last seven summers and this home has been our favorite! We enjoyed the fire pit on two evenings and the kayaks/canoe /SUP most days on the private beach. The South Cape State Beach is great for long walks, has a large parking lot at a reasonable $12 price per car and is just a short drive from the house. We also really enjoy riding on the Shining Sea Bikeway; you could rent at Art’s Bike shop in North Falmouth for $25 per bike or drive your our own bikes to Depot Ave lot near downtown Falmouth. The three bedrooms with queen beds easily accommodated the three couples in our family, while the outdoor deck overlooking the pond provided a great setting for our dinners. The kitchen is very well stocked with appliances and dinnerware. We were also impressed with the beach decorations throughout the house! Brad is a great host who answered all our questions immediately. We definitely plan to come again!

Everything was perfect!

We had a blast! Everything was perfect! The house: The water front house is amazing! Fishing, swimming, kayaking and inflatable bounce...so much you can do. You walk out of back of the house, and you have access to all these activities. It was so so much fun for kids! The house doesn't look big from the picture, but it was actually more than enough for seven of us. With three bedrooms (one futon room is the fourth bedroom) and three full bathrooms, everyone has comfortable room/space. Sitting on the deck, having a glass of wine, you get the best water view. We just loved it! The owner: Brad - the owner really has gone beyond and above to make our stay comfortable and fun. He was always there when we have any need. He was the best captain when he gave us a boat ride..(It was a bonus of the stay!) Brad, we will be back! Thank you very much!

Perfect end to the summer

Normally we stay at a home in East Falmouth and love it but this time we tried Mashpee. My husband and I stayed here with two dogs, my mother and mother in law and our two boys ages 13 and 9. We had a wonderful time. Enjoyed s’mores on the fire pit by the water listening to music. Kids used paddle boat, canoe and water trampoline. Having an outdoor shower and hose made it so convenient to clean up the sand before entering the house. There was plenty of bedrooms to sleep everyone comfortably and three full bathrooms made getting ready to step out so fast. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen and grilling on the deck with the gorgeous pond views. Morning coffees, night wines all beautiful on the deck or from inside of the house. All bedrooms felt like a master and luxurious with the sliding doors to outside. My Mom said best vacation ever. Dogs had a blast and there are baby gates if needed for them. You need to bring nothing at all, fully stocked kitchen. TV’s in all the bedrooms were really nice. We all Had a beautiful week here on John’s pond. Everything was nice a clean just how I like it. Family Vacation

Our family,ages newborn to seventies,spent a week at Brad and Pam's property. It was clean and welcoming with all the amenities needed. The first floor had an easy flow between the primary suite,living room,kitchen,dining room,and large,gated deck. The lower level with two bedrooms and bath and access to the lower covered deck gave privacy and quiet when needed. The private beach provided kayaks,canoes,lifejackets, and water toys. We especially enjoyed the water trampoline and mat. It was a lovely vacation.

Another great time had by all

We've stayed here before and this time did not disappoint! We rented this beautiful home on the water to do something different for Thanksgiving. We had plenty of room for everybody and even invited a couple of friends to join us. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a feast. It was such a nice environment to enjoy a bonfire by the lake after our turkey meal. We drove a few minutes down the street and took in an ocean shore walk too. This is becoming a tradition while we are here. We are thankful for the owners who went above and beyond to make our Thanksgiving holiday stay perfect!! This is why we like to come back time and again.

GREAT VIEW OF JOHN's POND

Nice little house ON the pond. Beautiful views from the rear deck. Sunny lot. 1st floor master and den. 2rd/3rd bedrooms in basement with sliders to outside. Updated, well stocked small kitchen. House has some updates and new appliances. Little community beach/dock down the stairs and tennis court close by. Stores, Mashpee Commons and several golf courses 10 minutes away. Neighboring houses quite close. Owner very responsive and available (around the corner).

Location! Location! Location!

First time to the area. Location allowed us to explore further into Cape Cod but still allowed easy access to the mainland. The waterfront access provided us multiple opportunities to enjoy canoeing on John's pond first thing in the morning just as the mist was clearing. The nights were starting to get a bit chilly so we appreciated the three indoor fireplaces and two outdoor fire pits (one of which was gas). Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood. It may be different in summer, but in Oct, we almost had the entire Pond to ourselves. Thank you for a great stay Brad.

Paradise

Brad and Pam‘s home was everything we dreamed of and more so. After two years without a vacation, we were delighted to settle into a comfortable home right on John‘s Pond with access to several different water toys: kayaks, peddle boat and a canoe. We hiked nearby paths and explored the area, returning to a comfortable deck and gorgeous view. Our hosts even treated us to a cooler of freshly caught clams. Heaven!
