Paradise By The Park - Perfect Family Getaway

A nice family home in an excellent neighborhood, just a two block walk to Washington Park. Convenient to groceries, fast food, a few good restaurants, Starbucks and various other shopping needs. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout except in recently remodeled kitchen and bathroom. Easy access with a front door smart lock. Recently remodeled with an updated bathroom and kitchen. Nice living room separated into a TV zone and a reading zone. TV with Amazon fire stick is provided. If you purchase any paid content, you will be responsible for charges, but there is plenty of free content available. There is a large dining room table with 6 chairs, plus 4 stools and the breakfast table in the kitchen. Garage will be available to guests staying longer than 1 week, or by request. Bathroom has only a shower, with a seat, no tub. There is a backyard with a patio and a swing. A charcoal grill is available for use, but owner takes no responsibility for keeping it clean, or providing charcoal. Please clean it after your use so it's nice for the next guest! There is also an additional toilet available in the basement, not a full bathroom and sort of funny placement in what I call " the prison bathroom", but good to have when needed. Laundry machines available in basement. Basement is a typical unfinished, sometimes moist, midwestern basement. Some guests have noted that the stairs to the second floor are steep. If you have accessibility issues with more than the number of people that may sleep in the downstairs bedroom, please consider other options. The full house is for guests, including back yard. Longer stay guests will be allowed to use the garage. I won't be available but will always have someone who can help if any needs arise. Convenient to anything you could need within less than a mile. Washington Park is just two blocks away and has great duck ponds, botanical gardens, a carillon, tennis, and nice walking trails. Parking is easy and convenient at the house as the driveway holds at least three cars, and there is free street parking. This is a nice family neighborhood, please don't come stay if you are planning a loud party or will do anything that would disrespect the neighbors. Stays of 28 days or longer will not receive a re-stock of household supplies.
