We also truly appreciate you saying that you would stay with us again. We did want to clarify a few of the items mentioned for future guests. While the home can accommodate up to 10 guests, the base rental rate covers up to 6 guests. For groups larger than 6, there is an additional guest fee of $25 per person, per night. This allows us to keep the base rate lower for smaller groups rather than charging every reservation the maximum occupancy rate. Visitor policies and applicable fees are also outlined in our rental agreement. Our cleaning fee reflects the level of cleaning and preparation required to maintain the home to the high standard you experienced during your stay. Unfortunately, past experiences with properties being left in extremely poor condition have made thorough professional cleaning and protection especially important. The damage protection is also intended to protect both our guests and the property should an accidental incident occur during a stay, rather than leaving either party responsible for a potentially significant unexpected expense. We understand there are several details involved when renting a vacation home, which is why we provide a rental agreement outlining the policies and fees so guests can review them.
