The Split Rock Wilds Mountain Bike Trail beckons just over the hill, and the Superior Hiking Trail is footsteps away. All that separates us from the waves of Lake Superior and scenic Cove Point (accessible for our guests) is the Gitchee Gami Bike Trail, which will lead you to Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry Falls State Park.



Venture further out into the Superior National Forest, Finland State Forest, and George Crosby Manitou State Park.

Find waterfalls, follow rivers, and fjord streams. Kayak pristine lakes. Paddle the day away. Enjoy a picnic with a view. Climb, hike, bike, and explore the shore.



We’ve got access to just about every kind of adventure that you could hope for - including all the amenities offered at Cove Point Lodge, just across the way. Hot tub, sauna, pool...all available to guests.

We provide a picnic table, campfire seating, and a bear-resistant food locker large enough for your cooler, your friend’s cooler, and the next-door neighbor’s cooler, too. Lanterns and flashlights? We’ve got those. Dishes and dishwashing supplies? Cooking tools, pots, and pans? Check. Need to charge your cell phone or laptop? We’ve got that covered.



We also have a 5-gallon water dispenser, kettle, French press, can opener, corkscrew, and our very favorite feature… a Grillmaster X-series Breeo firepit for all of our sites. The campfire is the most important part of camping, right? Each of our tältplats hosts the ultimate campfire cooking experience. It doesn’t matter which way the wind is blowing, with this smokeless firepit every seat around the campfire where you want to be.
