We want to apologize for the mandatory evacuation that was issued by the Outer Banks counties; unfortunately due to the hurricane our team had to inform each of our guests that this was necessary for your safety. We understand your disappointment in our policy, however travel insurance was offered at the time of booking for instances such as these. Because the leaseholder declined the offer of insurance, this forfeited any reimbursement or refund for the reservation.
