Welcome to Alpenglow, one of the finest homes in Wintergreen! The year-round views are truly magnificent, especially from the deck which boasts a propane firepit, dining area, and our signature sunken hot tub. Inside, you'll love the vaulted ceilings, open floor plan, billiards room, and additional game room. The home is a sprawling 5600 sq ft, and all 5 bedrooms have private bathrooms. Plus, pet friendly! There's a ton to do in the area! Alpenglow is about a mile to the slopes and a few minutes’ drive to all the dining and entertainment at Wintergreen. Some of the best hiking trails in the state are off the Blue Ridge Parkway (15 minutes from the home). Also nearby are two sandy-beach-entrance lakes plus a community pool for swimming, and over dozen wineries, breweries, and distilleries- all within a 30 minute drive.

The home layout is as follows:

Deck:

- The main deck features outdoor dining for 10, a gas firepit (propane provided), and additional seating area.
- A few steps down, you'll find our sunken hot tub where you can soak in the views year-round
- The railings on both decks are glass, allowing for unobstructed views
- The side of the deck also has a gas grill (propane provided)

Main level:
(Note: there are zero steps required to enter main level from driveway)

- Grand living room with large sectional, big screen TV, wood-burning fireplace, and separate seating area in front of the wall of windows.
- Dining table can seat 10, plus room for 4 more at the kitchen bar
- Fully stocked gourmet kitchen with top-tier Viking and Sub-Zero appliances
- Additional dining area that seats 6
- Billiards room with 2-sided fireplace, seating area with TV, and half bath
- BR 1: Master bedroom with king bed and fireplace. Attached ensuite bathroom features double vanities, large jetted tub, and tile shower.
- BR2: Master bedroom with king bed and attached bathroom.
- BR3: Master bedroom with king bed and attached bathroom.
- Office with desk/chair and great views
- Additional half bath by laundry room
- Laundry room with full size washer and dryer
- Mud room with storage for ski equipment

Lower level:

- Downstairs, you'll find a rec room with foosball, air hockey, arcade game, and big screen TV with seating. Great place to send the kids when you want some peace and quiet!

Upper level:

- BR 4: Master bedroom with queen bed and attached full bathroom. This room also has a lofted area with an additional queen bed.
- BR 5: Master bedroom with 2 twin beds and attached full bathroom.

Other things to note:

- Alpenglow is pet friendly! We allow up to 4 pets with a $200 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night).
- We provide our guests $1,500 of coverage for accidental damage to the property or its contents. There is no additional cost for this coverage.
- Wintergreen offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, dining, spa, ropes course, golfing, and much more.
- The driveway is large and can fit 5-6 vehicles
- Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and decks. Two bedrooms, the living room, the billiards room, and the rec room feature smart TVs where you can access all the main streaming services.
- We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options
- Linens and towels provided
- Guests can enjoy free community pool access in the summer season (though the HOA rules stipulate no more than 6 guests at a time, and the permitted hours are 2-6pm).
- Pack n play and high chair provided
- We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here.
