Welcome to Four Gables, an idyllic cottage retreat. Perfect for building lasting family memories.

HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:

Enjoy endless waterfront fun from your private dock. Boats, paddles, life jackets, extra large floating mat, beach towels, comfortable lounge chairs, cushions are all included.

A Chef-ready kitchen with new appliances in 2025 (including a dishwasher). Everything you need to cook, just like you are at home, including spices, utensils, casserole dishes, baking trays, tea (including teapot) and coffee…

Two Dining Areas - one indoor and the other outdoor. You'll find everything you need for memorable family feasts including place settings, servings dishes, napkins, glassware.

Three separate living rooms. One is in the hub of things on the main floor, one is more quiet and secluded in the upstairs and a third one with a large screen TV and a Fuzzball table.

Three outdoor seating areas. As well as the waterfront area, there is a large deck with a comfortable outdoor couch and armchairs. The front of the house is a lovely peaceful place to sit and put your feet up.

Three bedrooms. Two with queen beds and one with a king and an additional daybed. Pillows, blankets, duvets, blinds, black-out curtains, everything you will need for a comfortable sleep.

Two full bathrooms. We supply all the towels and toiletries.

Just because you’re getting away from it all doesn’t mean you have to miss a thing… Enjoy the 55" High Definition TV. We provide Bell Satellite service with the Sports Package (TSN, Sportsnet, MLB, etc...). We also provide an Apple TV which has Netflix. You can stream other services with your own login.

Board Games Galore - Scrabble, Guess Who, Uno, Scattergories, Trivial Pursuit, Wizard, Monopoly, plus a selection of more in-depth strategy games.

An Absolutely Perfect 10-Star Stay – Four Gables is a Dream Cottage for Families!Four Gables exceeded every expectation we had — and then some! If I could give this cottage more review stars, I would.The location is absolutely stunning — quiet, private, and right on the water, with a dock perfect for morning coffee and water activites.The cleanliness was flawless. Everything felt fresh, spotless, and clearly cared for — from the crisp linens to the sparkling bathrooms and gleaming new appliances.The set-up is perfect for families. The cottage is spacious, with three thoughtfully designed levels — open and social when you want to gather, and cozy when you need quiet time. The thoughtful touches truly make this property stand out: a coffee and tea station, cozy blankets for evenings by the fire pit, classic board games, puzzles and fuzzball soocer table. Everywhere you turn, you can tell how much care went into making this cottage feel like a true home-away-from-home.Between the starry night views from the third-floor king suite and endless lakeside fun — this is the perfect spot to make lasting family memories.We can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a family-friendly luxury cottage with every comfort thoughtfully provided, Four Gables is unbeatable!

Perfect Muskoka Retreat

Our family of 4 just spent a week at this fantastic property. The property is gorgeous and meticulously maintained. We spent most of our time down at the dock and in the water. The lake is beautiful and fairly quiet, especially mornings and evenings. We REALLY appreciated that the hosts provided very comfortable seating at the dock. Our kids spent hours in the water and especially loved the floating mat. We enjoyed a couple of campfires as well, and made good use of the marshmallow roasters provided. The house is beautiful and very well-appointed. The beds are very comfortable and we were impressed by the selection of different pillows for different sleeping preferences. Our kids said the upstairs bedroom was like a fancy resort. We enjoyed a few movie nights on the large TV in the basement room. The large deck was a wonderful place to eat lunch. The hosts were very responsive and gracious. We appreciated all the thoughtful little touches (i.e. phone charging cables, toiletries, staple items and a few "treats" in the kitchen), and the collection of books is FANTASTIC, both for our teens and for adults. A wonderful week all around.
