Bienvenue dans notre maison Strawbale

Cette maison a été construite par mon mari et moi. . C'est une maison de 600 pieds carrés qui est très confortable et a tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Nous mettons également à votre disposition un jacuzzi pour votre plaisir et votre détente. Nous sommes juste au sud du centre-ville de Phoenix, mais à distance de marche ou de vélo de celui-ci. Notre maison a une température très constante en raison du fait que les murs ont environ 20 pouces d'épaisseur. Nous sommes à environ 6-10 pâtés de maisons du tramway, des sites sportifs, du centre des congrès, des bars et des restaurants. Nous vivons dans une autre Strawbale à côté et pouvons partager des informations sur la région (nous sommes indigènes) mais vous donnerons également toute l'intimité dont vous avez besoin. Nous pensons que vous apprécierez vraiment cette expérience unique. Venez voir par vous-même.

The cutest ever in a most unassuming neighborhood!!! I love the strawbale concept, and sustainabiluty. Sue and sil are amazing humans, and fantastic hosts. The proximty to the downtown is a great feature, and at their insistance, traveled in. Waymo! Most fun. I am already making plans to visit again!

Quirky and Cute

We had a lovely time with our first stay in a strawbale home- everything true to the posting. Easy checkin and easy check out. Excellent location for access to downtown and dining. The only downside is very obvious and constant air noise from the airport close by. Once I used air plugs, I was able to sleep past 6:30.

What a neat place to stay. A very cool home with a great backstory. Susan was as nice as could be and super helpful regarding info about the area. I truly enjoyed my stay.

This is such an adorable place. Hosts were so generous and available. They even had a bottle of wine when I arrived. It was a house made of straw! Very comfortable bed. Location was close to what I needed.

A fantastic (and unique) place to stay!

Property was clean and comfortable. The hosts (who live next door) were friendly and never intrusive. Plenty of restaurants, bars and entertainment venues within walking distance. Highly recommended!

Amazing

Well first of all I’ve stayed at a ton of places before and this place was hands down the best. The host greeted me and showed me around and thenolace is so clean and very nice accommodations. Lots of snacks provided along with a bottle of wine. The hot tub was ready to use. Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. You just can’t beat the hospitality and friendliness of Susan and her husband. If I ever come back to phoenix, I’ll be staying here every time!

amazing welcoming stay in downtown Arizona

We were there for a quick trip to see the baseball game. We walked from the house. It was super great were amazing and super helpful. Answered any questions we had would definitely stay there again!!! Home had a wonderful touch, and it felt like you were in your own home. It was very amazing. also, the Wi-Fi perfect for two adults working from home

Charming, convenient, comfortable

The casita was a great choice. We came to Phoenix for a baseball game. Chase Field--and all of downtown--were in walking distance. The house is in a neighborhood, so you get both a residential and city experience in one stay. The hosts are in the process of building another straw bale house on the property, and were gracious in giving us a tour and tutorial. It's a very interesting construction method which regulates the temperature and sound in the house. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly, available and helpful, but not intrusive. The casita is a separate building, so it's very private. It felt authentically Arizona. I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect, charming little getaway

My wife and I took a super quick trip to Phoenix from Alaska to see Bruce Springsteen and I wish we had longer in this sweet little home. We were greeted by prince Boo at the gate as soon as we arrived and one of our favorite parts of this trip was relaxing with Boo in the sun in the front lawn chairs. The home was spotless, cozy, quirky and equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were amazing, friendly and communicative. We felt right at home here and were sad to leave! Thanks so much for everything and give Boo some pets from us.

Best ever!

This house was so comfortable and the owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Easy walk to downtown or for an Uber/Waymo. Convenient drive to Goodyear for our baseball games without needing to stay in that new construction environment. We will definitely stay here again.

Wonderful and Convenient Stay in the Heart of Phoenix

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Strawbale Home as it offered a comfortable and unique retreat during our time in Phoenix. The central location made attending Spring Training games, the NASCAR race, and exploring the Phoenix Zoo incredibly convenient. The hosts were incredibly hospitable, ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay. The house's distinct charm added a nice touch to the overall experience.
