The Space:

Situated in one of the Oregon Coast’s premier destination neighborhoods, find your charming coastal getaway at this well-appointed beach home. Perks include a covered front porch with seating, smart TVs in each bedroom, a gas fireplace, and a fully stocked kitchen. Venture out on foot (roughly five minutes) to spend fun-filled days on the shore. Walk to the neighborhood park, playground, and cafe. Enjoy Depoe Bay whale watching, discover shops and eateries in Gleneden Beach, or take a scenic coastal drive up Highway 101 to the artsy Lincoln City.



A sofa, two armchairs, and a gas fireplace set the scene for relaxation in the contemporary living area. In the evening, stream favorite shows on the smart TV. The kids will love having movie nights in the bonus TV room, located above the detached garage. Prepare fresh meals in the fully equipped kitchen, featuring an array of appliances and helpful gadgets. Or, keep mealtime simple with a cookout on the gas grill. While dinner simmers, perch at the kitchen bar with seating for three. Gather for mealtime around the six-person dining table.



Rest peacefully in a king bed in the primary bedroom. The downstairs suite is furnished with a queen bed, while the en-suite bathroom -- also accessible via the hallway -- comes with a tub/shower combination. The third bedroom is outfitted with two twin beds. The guest bathroom is also configured with a tub/shower combination. Complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer add convenience during your stay.

This house was perfect! Clean and well stocked. The color is different than the listing, but we stay in this neighborhood every summer so we knew the house.

The house is cozy and well stocked. The home was clean and has a nice open floor plan. The upstairs bedrooms were very stuffy with no AC in August. We had a couple of small issues, 1) the hot tub was down and cold the entire visit. 2) The stairs were very steep to get to the upstairs bedrooms. We had my mom 70 years, who was a bit nervous going up and down. 3) The stairs to the each access are very steep. If my children were young and we were hauling beach toys/bags/chairs it would be tricky. I think a couple of photos showing the beach access would be heplful for families. We enjoyed our visit and would reccomend.

Disappointed

This was our first VaCasa rental. We have rented in Bella Beach for many years. Sadly, this was not our best experience. ‱ The Schlage lock on the back door did not work according to the instructions texted to me. We were anxious to get in after a four-hour drive. After trying many times, I called the phone number provided for help and was given instructions to open the lockbox for all the house keys. We used the front door to come and go. ‱ There was no “in-house” information with directions for the operation of the televisions, appliances, and climate control. This house is special and should have information pertaining specifically to it, separate from the general VaCasa brochure, which was useless. ‱ Televisions were a mystery to operate. The emailed information from VaCasa was incorrect for connecting to anything. The texted information was correct for accessing the Internet on our devices, but no help for the televisions. ‱ The dishwasher does not dry the dishes: hand drying is required. ‱ The clothes dryer had a hand-printed note on a piece of paper towel with the washing pods, “Only use timed try” but the clothes still took a long time to dry. ‱ The knobs on the gas range move too easily when accessing the upper cupboard, releasing gas into the house ‱ As we were leaving I discovered a Weber charcoal grill under the stairs of the Carriage House; if I had known about this, I might have used it during our stay. ‱ I still don’t know if our rental included the room above
