My friends and I enjoyed staying in this lovely old home. It was spacious and met our needs well. The basement room was a bit dark being underground, but no surprises there. There is no bathroom on that level so the person in the room had to use the bathroom on the main floor. Not as convenient as the other bedrooms but we made it work. As described, itâs in a great walkable location to the art museum and coffee shops/restaurants. We liked being in a vibrant neighborhood.
This was a great house and the property managers could not have been better - super attentive, responsive, and would always get right back to me when I'd have questions. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful weekend stay here! House was clean, had all amenities needed, and has a great outside space to just lounge or hang out. We had such ease commuting back and forth from plaza, and westport areas. Would highly recommend!
This Vrbo was perfect. It was beautiful, spacious and bright with a fenced in yard and yard games and a balcony off the bedroom. I felt safe the whole time.
The large open space and beautiful decorations and finishes made this a perfect place for a bridal shower. We were close to all the action in the city, and the property manager was very prompt and communicative.
The property was perfect for a girls weekend. The open living room was able to accommodate all 7 of us comfortably, we felt safe and the house was very clean and provided the amenities we needed.
This an amazing house with a great location that was an easy Uber ride to the KC Chiefs game - definitely will recommend this house to friends and family. 5 stars!
Nice home close to downtown making it convenient to use Uber.
The common areas were comfortable for a group. Nicely decorated and clean. Water pressure was good and towels were nice. Bedrooms had newer linens and extra blankets.
We had a great stay at this location. It was very welcoming. Very clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed.. The games were a plus and kept us busy for hours. I would definitely stay at this location again. Highly recommended.
Thank you.
The house was really nice and clean. We liked the decor and the space really worked for our group. The house also had a great security system and our host was extremely responsive and helpful. The location was in a rough neighborhood.
We had a great time staying in the Westport area. About a 15 minute walk from Westport bars and restaurants. The house is beautiful and has plenty of space. Short ride to Arrowhead Stadium to watch the Eagles get a win! Go birds!!!
Thank you for a great stay for conference. The house and neighborhood were safe and clean. Ride sharing or driving was easy. The beds were great and we never ran out of hot water! Everything we needed was easy to hand. 10/10 would stay again. Thank you!
This house has been beautifully and thoughtfully renovated. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with everything but the groceries. I was worried at first about the safety of the neighborhood as you drive by graffiti and run down areas when coming in from the north, but once there, the actual neighborhood was lovely. We were able to spend quite a bit of time outside in the yard and many neighbors were out walking dogs or exercising. I never once felt unsafe. Access was easy as was communication. As a group we also rented the mansion next door and the two properties were easy and convenient to share common areas. Soft towels, quality linens, games, and tasteful decor made the house feel like a home and not a rental.
Family trip to see Chiefs game with kids. Good location with quick, easy commutes which was important to us. Home is close to Nelson Art museum, Plaza, Downtown, and Union station. Great location for quick access to Chiefs/royals games, and entertainment. Absolutely never felt unsafe in the neighborhood, but the home is in a bit of a sketchy area of KC where abuts Troost Ave. Sirens occasionally woke us up on a couple of nights.
Older home- renovated. Very clean. Nicely decorated. Beds comfortable. One bedroom was downstairs in basement. No bathroom downstairs, so used the shower/bathroom on the main living room. TV had a zillion channels and was tough to find ESPN/sports stations. Ended up just using airplay to the TV. We didn't cook but from looking at drawers seemed to have everything I would need. Enclosed backyard was ok and gives a place to hang-out outside the home. Did notice gas grill which appeared relatively new which we didn't use.
Owner was very accessible and easy to work with. Would definitely recommend this place or others he may have. I would stay here again if back in the area.
This is a great place to stay if youâre looking for a location near downtown and lots of great restaurants. The main downside is the house is not handicap accessible, and there is only street parking.
The home is older but nicely renovated. Everything was very clean except for the coffee pot! It was filthy. There were old moldy grounds in it and it had not been cleaned for a long time. Had to buy vinegar and run thru many times before we could drink from it. One of kitchen cupboards had black fingerprints below handle. Needed to be wiped down . Also, not enough furniture for living area where we could all sit . We had to bring in patio furniture so we could all sit and watch tv/ movie. If this place is advertised to house 10 people there is no way you can sit at table or in living room!
