Great location on the lake, view, beach front, boat dock.
Fourth of July was a blast, water balloon tossed and squirt gun fights on the dock with the boaters, and evening fireworks displays were especially great.
Amazing trip⊠fishing on the dock, swimming, beautiful evenings on the dock! Special thanks to Sandy for all of the help, information and friendly conversations.
What a great place, right on the water, to spend a family vacation. We had grandkids ages 2-14 and all had a blast. Great fishing on the lake too. 12 of us were comfortable in this spacious house. This exceeded our expectations. Thank you!!!
Great location on the water! We had trailered a camper under the impression we could easily park it at the property. Parking was a bit more challenging then we had anticipated! Sandy was very friendly and definitely takes pride in her property!
The home was well kept and comfortable. There was plenty of bed space for the 9 people we had there. The majority of the beds are in an open loft then the other two beds are in two bed rooms. This worked fine since we were one family, but might be a bit awkward for more than two couples. There is only one shower and one bath tub, and the water heater is very old and inadequate. This led to long waits and mostly cold showers. The lake is very beautiful and was great fun. The water was warmer than we thought it would be, and was quite pleasant for boating and swimming. We were a bit disappointed that there was no paddle boat as was in the description. I think that with the replacement of the paddle boat and a new water heater, this would be nearly perfect.
Exceeded our expectations! Sandy was easy to deal with and added her special touch to our wedding. This property is definitely a lake place. This was our first stay but we are taking about planning our next.
Thank you!!!
Was nice to have the different areas for sleeping which helped with the different ages. Not having wireless was an issue for us with folks that to need to be available. Well supplied and friendly responsive owner.
The home was open and bright with a well stocked kitchen. It does sleep 12 but there are two queen 2 twin and a double bed all located in the loftâŠWe are a congenial family so didnât mind sharing one great big room. Loft also has a view of the lake The room where the hide a bed was had no curtains on the French doors and the outside stairway was in the middle of construction. Otherwise it was a great place to stay⊠Great beach!
We spent our 20 years anniversary and it will go down as one of the most beautiful memories ever!! House is located right on the water and lake is so fun to swim ! Spent mornings and evenings on the deck !!! We took kids to Silverwood but we could had easily stayed at property entire time because the minute you walk in the door it felt so relaxing and fun !!!!
Thank you for the memories!!!!
We stayed here with 4 adults and 5 kids on the 5 hottest days of the year. The kids loved having the loft all to themselves and appreciated the A/C unit and fans. The other two bedrooms are also nice and stayed cool during the hottest days (108° one day!!) The kids range in age from 12-9 and spent hours in the lake and learning to paddle the canoe. On the last day our youngest FINALLY got the courage to jump off the dock! So many memories were made. We spent three days at Silverwood Theme Park which is only an 18 minute drive from the house. There is a great grocery store and gas station a few miles from the house and we loved getting to know the area. My husband and I took a nice long sunset paddle in the canoe along the lakeshore and it was absolutely wonderful. I definitely recommend renting this house. Itâs quirky and full of character and absolutely cozy.
The house was beautiful. There were plenty of linens and cooking supplies. Would definitely rent ag
There were 4 adults and 5 children. The beds were very comfortable. The owner met us at the house and showed us around. Sitting on the deck with my morning coffee watching the bird s was a nice way to start the day. The lake was very clean and the beach was very safe for the little ones. If you rent this property you wonât be disappointed
We had a great stay and Sandy was very helpful getting us set up and having the house ready. The decks, beach, firepit and setting were awesome. Caught fish, went swimming, had campfires, and enjoyed the scenery. Thanks Sandy.
Great location on Twin Lakes, Id (no seaweed). Enough living space for large groups, separate living quarters and decks for privacy. Fire pit was great for sâmores. Interior was very well decorated and intriguing.
Fun was had by all. We loved the having our own dock to enjoy hanging out on it, swimming, canoeing, kayaking & fishing. Our private fire pit was very nice as well. Loved the open dining room and living room to visit with all and also the having our own grill was great! Sandy was a great host. The only thing I would change is upgrading your mattresses to newer ones that are more comfortable in the two rooms.
I was unable to go to the cabin due to a family emergency but my daughter's families had a great time. They loved the cabin and said everything was perfect for their stay.
We really enjoyed our time here. The location was only 15 minutes from Silverwood with very easy driving. We spent a day at the house boating and enjoying the lake. Found some fun places to jump off the rocks into the lake. Then enjoyed Boulder Beach and Silverwood. It was hard to leave I think our whole group would have loved 1 more day.
We enjoyed our time at Twin Lakes. The loft is large with 5 beds for the kids. we enjoyed playing in the water and visiting on the decks overlooking the lake. The parking is pretty tight for large vehicles but it was functional for our needs.
We had our annual Girls Weekend here! The peace and quiet was amazing! Comfortable with 12 and room for 14 if you need it. Spacious livingroom/dining room, 2 decks (upper and lower). We had a great time! Hope to rent it again for next year.

A bit of history about Twin Lakes Bear Lodge: The structure was built in the 1970s as a residence. The owners lived out their lives in comfort and happiness, surrounded by loved ones, until one fateful day when the Mrs. of the house passed due to health complications. Her husband, stricken by grief, rapidly fell victim to dementia and was no longer able to live on his own, placing a huge financial burden on his family. Wanting only the best care for their father, the children are now renting out their parents very home and now wish to invite you to share the majesty and tranquility that this home has held for years.
For years different pieces of lake property were scouted out, looking for the perfect place to build a home. All the items that had been accumulated for years in the garage and basement, were added in this home during the many years it took to build. Many objects from our parents travels are seen throughout the house also, as you step from the 'Mexican room' into the 'Butterfly room' or in front of the river rock fireplace with it's unique mantel, which was brought from Montana, and where each rock was hand selected from a friend's backyard and placed in the fireplace along with coins from different countries. Surrounded by knotty cedar, throughout the house, gives a special feeling of a cabin and a home. Sitting in front of a warm fireplace, being out on the deck watching the lake or the stars or just hanging out in front of the campfire on your own private beach will bring enjoyment and memories that will carry with you forever.
