Star Point and Eagles Cove marina just five minutes away and Sunset Marina is 10 minutes away on DALE HOLLOW LAKE. Plenty of room to park your boat so bring them. No boat- marinas have rentals available. POI nearby, Cordell Hull state park, Alvin C York state park (national historical landmark) Pickett CCC State park and the famous Forbus General store historic landmark. Charming ranch built into the hillside with awesome view of the surrounding woods. There is wildlife around and while it’s on a main road it is very peaceful. Two bedrooms easily accessible which have a king and queen bed on the main floor and an open loft upstairs with a full size bed. Suitable for kids is a comfortable day bed with trundle. The main floor has the full bathroom and upstairs has a toilet and sink in the half bath. Fully stocked kitchen with tons of room for cooking meals. Plenty of outdoor space covered and uncovered to take in fresh mountain air. No steep roads traveling to get there just a few sharp curves but nothing that feels like you could drive off a cliff like some places in Tn. Close to gas and diesel fuel, groceries pharmacy and great local cafes and family owned restaurants 10-15 minutes away. We request that you stay in the main part of the home and have decided to allow access to the basement for the safety of our guests in case of inclement weather where you may need access for safety should there be warnings of tornado sirens. Also it allows you to trip back any breakers should something trip in the box. However, the latter shouldn’t be an issue since we have ensured all electrical is safe and up to code.
