La maison de plage est une propriété unique sur St. Thomas. Si l'intimité est ce que vous recherchez, la maison de plage est l'endroit idéal pour vous. Cette magnifique propriété est située à 40 pieds au-dessus du niveau de la mer, sur trois acres avec 700 pieds de rivage où un escalier en bois vous mène à une petite plage complètement isolée.

Lorsque vous êtes calme, la plongée en apnée et la plongée sont parmi les plus vierges de l'île. Lorsque la mer est agitée, vous pouvez vous baigner dans le bain à remous ou profiter de la chaleur sur l'immense pont pendant que vous regardez et profitez du surf. Une vie en bord de mer parfaite!

La maison de plage est l'endroit idéal pour célébrer votre mariage, écrire un livre, peindre un paysage marin ou simplement vous détendre et profiter de vacances en famille incroyables et amusantes.

La maison de plage se compose d'une maison principale avec deux chambres et d'un cottage indépendant pittoresque de trois chambres.

À proximité de choses amusantes à faire: visiter la magnifique baie de Magen est à 20 minutes en voiture
Pour atteindre l'extrémité est de st. Thomas et les ferrys pour st. John, c'est à environ 30-35 minutes en voiture.
Le centre-ville est à seulement 15-20 minutes.

Mariages, fêtes ou grands rassemblements: la maison de plage pourra accueillir jusqu'à 50 personnes. Toutes les tables, couverts, porcelaine, vaisselle et verrerie de l'événement doivent être loués ou fournis par votre traiteur. Nous devons avoir des détails sur tous les plans bien avant l'événement, y compris le personnel de mariage et / ou les personnes de restauration qui seront à la villa pour votre fonction. Les clients seront tenus entièrement responsables des dommages, des articles manquants et seront facturés si leur traiteur / chef ne termine pas un nettoyage complet de la propriété à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, y compris l'élimination de toutes les ordures de la propriété de la villa.

Conditions d'annulation: si vous annulez plus de 45 jours avant votre date d'arrivée, 80% de votre dépôt total et paiement anticipé vous seront remboursés et 20% seront conservés à titre de dommages-intérêts de liquidation. Si vous annulez dans les 45 jours suivant la date d'arrivée, vous perdrez l'intégralité de l'acompte et les dommages / acompte de réservation. 9 friends rented together

Our group had been here before, 15 years prior, different owner. This property is secluded, and has a perfect beach for relaxing and water fun. We love having our own rooms and space to gather as well. We did all agree however that the spaces could use a few updates: there is alot of knick knacks around that just get in the way. The rooms in the guest cottage could use some updates, we stayed in the one with the sliding glass door, and it needs a mirror, a chair or stool and a trash basket. You could get rid of the TV never turned it on. The bathroom needs a clean rug in front of the shower door. We used the recommended massage therapist, the chef, and the car (Jeep) rental; and all were fabulous! Very easy to work with and wonderful. Lisa the property manager was also very nice. Keep in mind this property has a lot of stairs. Also the road into it is VERY treacherous and not for the faint of heart. Overall we are happy to have come back here. Thank you

The most amazing part was the beach access. It was great to go down to the water for an hour or two everyday and walk back up. There was plenty of beach toys and gear for our use. We didn't have to pack up all our gear, park and fight for a spot at the popular beaches. The outdoor showers are wonderful! We were a group of 7 and it was nice everyone had their own space but could come together in the main house. We had an all wheel drive Kia Sorento with an experienced off- road driver and we managed the road just fine. An all wheel drive is necessary to navigate the road. The hot tub is perfect to watch the sunset. The balcony has amazing views and the house is secluded and quiet. The house manager Lisa was helpful with all our needs. There is a generator for the frequent power outages. It was an amazing vacation for everyone!!

Wonderful Stay at the Beach House

Everyone in our family is busy with their own lives, but our stay at the beach house gave us the opportunity to all be in one place and enjoy our time together. Memories made at the beach house.... Kayaking from the beach snorkeling off of the beach eating dinner together on the deck which looks out over the ocean laying on the lounge chairs at night looking at the starry nights. The property manager, Lisa was awesome. She met us at the airport and showed us to the house. She made herself available ( Cell phone) if we needed anything!! On our next trip to St. Thomas, we will stay here again!

Excelleent...once you got there

The property and furnishing were terrific. Everything was first rate. There was nothing lacking, linens, electronics, dishes... all was splendid. (One exception -- the ice maker did not work). The outdoor shower was at first a little off putting, but it was just fine.after realizing that privacy was total. Access to the property was another matter. To say access was difficult is a complete understatement. Given the location on the side of a mountain, it might not be surprising, but you really need to endure great fear in getting to the property. I have driven in difficult terrains, but this was the most over the top experience of my life.

A little slice of paradise!

The pictures and videos just do not do justice to the experience of staying here! We were delighted with the space! Views can't be beat and the privacy of the beach was absolutely perfect. The snorkeling right there was even better than 5 other places we went around the islands on a boat trip!👌the boat house was well stocked with 15+ snorkel masks and plenty of flippers, assorted life jackets, kayaks and several chaise lounges. The property was setup great with tons of space for a large group with 3 couples and one family with little kids. Plenty of room to be all together and also comfortable private places to relax. Getting to and from the house was definitely an adventure! We chose not to rent and relied on a few local taxi/transport companies...once they figured out how to get there it was pretty straightforward! But plan for that to be a little extra work if you don't get a vehicle. It was worth it for the location tho!

An absolutely AMAZING family vacation!!

My family had an amazing stay at The Beach House!!! The house has everything needed for an enjoyable stay and the owner and property manager went above and beyond to make sure my family was well taken care of from the moment we booked the house to the moment we left for the airport to go back home. The property manager even met us at the airport to escort us to the house. The main house and detached cottage provided the 4 bedrooms needed and everyone with their own space and area to relax. The large outdoor patio area, dining, and family rooms provided plenty of space to hang out together. We went out to eat often and also enjoyed cooking meals at the house. We appreciated the ability to have a kitchen filled with provisions when we arrived. The kitchen is well equipped (new espresso/coffee machine, dishwasher, oven, etc.) and stocked, and we also did some grilling. Renting a Jeep is a MUST and incredibly fun! When not enjoying the amazing views from the house, hot tub, and private beach, we spent our days driving all over the island to explore, visiting several beaches, places to eat and shop, and took the car ferry over to St. John for a day. My family and I highly recommended The Beach House and it has definitely earned a spot on my list of places my family would love to stay again.

Anniversary trip

We were very excited to celebrate our 50th anniversary with family on St. Thomas. The Beach House was the perfect place for this. In planning the trip, our questions were fully answered in a timely manner. Their suggestions were welcomed and helpful. When we arrived at the airport, Lisa, the house manager, met us and led us to the house. Given the narrow and rough roads on St. Thomas, this was critically helpful. Perhaps one of the great attractions of the house is the beach on Mail Bay, only accessible from the cottage - ultimate privacy. In the boathouse by the beach, there are kayaks, snorkle gear, boogie boards, and more - perfect for exploring the reef and waters. The house and cottage were great for our three-family group of nine. It has a quaint island vibe, yet equipped for modern living with all the amenities. Every family had their own sleeping spaces, outdoor showers, and privacy. The kitchen, recently renovated is fully equipped for meal prep. There are three dining area, one inside and two on the deck. Also on the spacious deck are a variety of chairs for sun and relaxation. Being in a tropical rainforest, the vegetation is lush and varied. We had daily visits from iguanas and anoles. We were very happy to choose The Beach House for our dream vacation.

Amazing place BUT….

This place was gorgeous! The private beach was amazing! The house was huge and very clean! There was snorkeling gear, kayaks, nice tvs, beautiful patio, a kitchen with every appliance you can think of plus more. I regret not using the outdoor shower but my guests said that was one of their favorite parts of the house. There’s games, zacuzzi, and so much more. BUT the bugs are bad !! My guests got bit up every night all over, we’re praying it wasn’t bad bugs but we don’t think it is. The TVs in the main house didn’t work, except the one in the living room. The house manager kept giving us the wrong code for the door so it was hard to get in the house some days. The route to get to the house is very complicated because the roads is TERRIBLE! If you don’t have a truck YOU WILL damage your car. The LED lights to the zacuzzi wouldn’t cut off and the dish washer leaked a bit. But other then that I will see myself coming back! We liked it alot.

Fantastic! Very Private and Relaxing Home and Location

My wife and I choose this location to relax and enjoy our 30th Anniversary. We wanted a vacation where we could detach, unwind, and see no one! This place exceeded our expectations. The location could not be more private. The house is well-equipped, so with proper planning, you will never need to leave. We hired a private chef - Josh Feagle - the first night, which I recommend for anyone arriving late afternoon/early evening. It was worth it. His cooking skills are phenomenal, and we were too tired to worry about dinner the first night. We also rented a 4-wheel Jeep from Amy at Amalie Car rental. Even if you don't plan to leave the house much, you will appreciate having a Jeep for the roads. We enjoyed waking before sunrise, having coffee on the deck and watching the island come to life as our day started. We snorkeled, we relaxed, we ate and we drank – a very relaxing vacation. We have stayed at a lot of VRBO/HomeAway/AirBNB rentals, and this is one of the best equipped places we have ever stayed. Once you have made a trip to town for groceries and booze, there is no reason you would need to leave this house – it has everything! Unlike many other locations on the VRBO/HomeAway site, this locations does not have any annoying noises; no roosters, no obnoxious boats, no loud neighbors (no neighbors), the loudest non-natural thing we heard was the dropping of ice in the ice machine. We have already planned our trip for next year.

Secluded House in the 'Jungle' - opens up to a secluded, shady beach

all in all a good stay at this house. some of the bedrooms are definitely nicer than others. we used every bedroom in this house. the drive down to the house was unreal. our initial response was holy crap! are you kidding!?? after driving however, for the next SEVERAL days, it SEEMED to get better. you definitely need a car to get to this house as cabs will not take you down the road to get to this house. the roads are super narrow and have no shoulder and in some areas washed away making it difficult to navigate. The photos of this house are great! Look closely at the photos for the bedrooms. They are accurate. The 3rd bedroom in the cottage is not photographed however and should be. Its very small and not much counter space to place small personal belongings. There is only 1 full - indoor bathroom in the whole place. It is very nice. Also 1 indoor half bath in the cottage. The 3 of the 4 showers are outside. Which really is not a big deal. it was fun to shower outside - the one in the cottage is the most private of all outside showers. There were very small bugs on the counter tops - which i think may be inevitable for the location of the house and the nature of the counter tops. the counter tops in the kitchen are tile squares with crumbling grout. We told the owner and his response was they spray or exterminate every 3 weeks and he didn't offer anything else. i tried not to look too closely but couldn't help myself. ;) i used lysol and paper towels each and every time before and after getting our food out. there should be something more done on this. the outside deck / porch was beautiful. the chairs on the deck were great to sit to get sunshine. the dining table outside was also beautiful. i think this was why we chose this place along with the 'private beach'. (even though it was mostly shady) the house also had 3 kayaks that could take 5 people out. this was a lot of FUN but also a bit scary as the waves coming into the beach were strong at times. be very careful if kayaking. all in all a good stay at this house. it was actually very clean - just needs serious attention on the counter tops. i bet a different top would solve the issue we had.

Best place in the world to turn 60!

This was an amazing experience! From beginning to end, this villa is one to strive for. This trip was to celebrate my wife's 60th birthday with all our family. We were met at the airport in St Thomas by the property manager, Ms. Pochette. She was very friendly and helpful in aquainting us with how to get to the villa and giving us a tour of all the amenities. The villa itself was very clean and well appointed with a lot of basic needs. They operate on an honor system of sorts. If you use something up, replace it. Good system! The private beach is the highlight of the property. Amazing snorkeling around beautiful coral formations and a variety of aquatic life: tropical fish, squid and, yes, even a possible shark. My wife and daughter encountered what we decided was a Reef Shark, but no problems. The view from the villa is amazing as well. Beautiful tropical vistas and crystal clear waters. This property is a must if you want the best of an island vacation. One other note though: be prepared for left hand driving and narrow, rough roads to the villa, but this only adds to the experience. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience at Carey Bay

The property was as advertised and had everything we needed and more. The beach and deck were amazing. The kitchen had everything to make meals at the house and enjoy the deck which we often did rather than going out. The island was beautiful but the property had so much to offer we often opted to stay at the house and enjoy it! It was a great vacation - thank you for sharing your home with us!

Had our SUNSET WEDDING @ The Beach House

The Beach House was PERFECT for our sunset wedding and our immediate family. This place will remain in our hearts FOREVER!!! I even got to kayak to the other island during Tropical Storm Earl. BAD IDEA! This place has EVERYTHING YOU NEED… It was my mother’s first time flying, the hot tub, the kayaks, the fishing reels, snorkel gear, the location, the grills, the views, the amenities, two washers and two dryers, many showers, etc.. Our only complaint is that we wished we could’ve stayed here forever :( jkjk, not forever… we’ll definitely try and return at some point. A big thank you to Heidi and Lisa who made our arrival a VERY VERY special one! Also, a huuuuuge thank you to Josh and his private chef services who prepared such memorable meals for our family after the wedding reception on the balcony with such beautiful views. And last but not least . . . The Beach House!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

Annette Elliott and her family first visited St.Thomas in 2007 and found the Beach House in 2008. We have spent a month at the beach house every year and were fortunate enough to be able to purchase the house from the past owner of over 35 years. The Beach House is truly a special place.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This home is one of very few on St. Thomas with it's own private, secluded beach. When we stay at the home ourselves, it's like we're stealing away on a short vacation ourselves.
