Welcome to Retroville! Murfreesboro is waiting for you at this adorable 2-bedroom apartment (bottom level). Inside, guests find a soothing retreat featuring a king bed, queen bed, twin bed, and even a crib, perfect for families or small groups. The single bathroom is equipped with a hair dryer and bath tub for added convenience. Newly renovated 50s charmer with all the modern day conveniences. Amazing location in the heart of Murfreesboro. It's an easy walk to MTSU (1/2 mile), City Square (1 mile), or many of the great shops & restaurants that the Boro has to offer. Only a 28-mile commute to BNA! Luxury bedding for R&R after a long day of Nashville fun! Relax by the fire pit in the large, shared, quiet back yard. Lots of parking and wifi.

This is a 2 bedroom 50's home that has been completely renovated. It has all the original doors, trim, metal cabinets and character! You will find all the conveniences of a modern home in a retro package. The upstairs apartment is occupied by a quiet renter, therefore quiet hours from 10pm-7am are strictly enforced. Although this home is in the city of Murfreesboro, we have lots of parking available!
*Please note the home has a small short term rental behind it that sleeps 2-3 people. These homes share the parking and back yard on open lot beside them (which belongs to us as well)!
You will have access to the entire newly renovated downstairs! The top floor has a separate entrance and occupied by a quiet tenant. You will have access to a large, private backyard. The yard is shared with the rear home and equipped with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs to relax on cooler evenings.
LAUNDRY: The washer and dryer are located just off the back porch. Note that laundry facility is shared with home in the rear like old fashioned city living!
We ask our guests to be courteous with shared laundry!

My family is made up of native Nashvillians, and the rest of us have grown up here. We've seen Nashville change from a quiet country town, to a busting metropolis that we scarcely recognize every time we visit downtown!
Our family loves traveling and visiting new places and especially other cultures! We also love movies (with one student in college for art, and the other studying film both at local universities)! Our youngest is still figuring out what he wants to do (for he has time), and he would love to talk to you about it if you give him the chance! :)
Our hosting personalities are to give you a peaceful, clean, and comfortable place to relax and spend time with families, whether you are visiting our great city or needing a place to stay because of home renovation or in town for work! We are happy to host you and look forward to a no drama and no surprises fees after you book or leave! As long as you treat our homes well, we are more than happy to treat you well!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?
This is a very urban neighborhood, with sketchy streets down one direction, and beautiful, restored, multimillion dollar homes down the street the other direction! There's an active church down the road, as well as a community garden a couple of blocks away! With sidewalks along most streets, it's a great neighborhood to walk around and so much to see! It's a long walk to the Murfreesboro square (so many boutiques and local restaurants), and a short walk to a locally owned soul food restaurant with food that'll make your heart sing!
It's less than a mile to MTSU, a beautiful walkable campus, and the area is quite safe (as long as you are paying attention)! We love the area, and hope you will as well!

This is like stepping back in time, and we love it! We've refinished the metal kitchen cabinets, and tried to keep all of the original parts/aspects of the home as possible to create a one of a kind experience! We love thrift shopping for antiques, so are constantly updating the home with our found treasures! (Nothing too expensive unfortunately because of sticky fingers.)
We also have toys in the second bedroom, with star string lights and a space projector to finish out our space themed room! It's gorgeous at night! Or during the day with black out curtains, the choice is yours! (One of our previous guests children call our home the potato head home, because of our toys in the bedroom!)
Our primary focus is always comfort, and this shows up with our beds and pillows! The laundry is shared between 3 apartments, and within the next couple of weeks will have 2 stackable LG washer/dryer units! (I LOVE THEM!) Although a quiet college student lives in the top apartment above this home, we ASSURE you the student will remain quiet and respectful! (If not call us immediately :)
It's a unique property for sure, but one set apart to create memories in our clean and comfortable retro home!
We also have toys in the second bedroom, with star string lights and a space projector to finish out our space themed room! It's gorgeous at night! Or during the day with black out curtains, the choice is yours! (One of our previous guests children call our home the potato head home, because of our toys in the bedroom!)
