Skagit Valley Lakeview

Cet appartement unique mère-frère a été rénové avec une nouvelle salle de bains et cuisine à l'hiver 2013. L'espace original a été construit en 1998 et utilisé comme une salle de bonus pour les amis et la famille. A la base de l'escalier menant à l'appartement est notre figuier Desert King, planté en 2000. Régalez sur les figures (quand ils sont en saison). Le Fig Tree Suite vue sur le lac appartement dispose d'environ 600 m² avec une mise en page de studio ouvert, et se trouve au-dessus d'un garage à la recherche sud-ouest vers le lac Clear et les montagnes olympiques. Vous pouvez réveiller au son d'un chant de coq. Corbeaux, faucons et les aigles sont vues communes de la vue hors du balcon. Notre chien résident et maître de l'affection est d'amis, et il va certainement faire de son mieux pour obtenir un frotter le ventre de vous. Amis a sa propre cagnotte qui peuvent apparaître de temps à autre. Le Wifi est disponible. Nous avons notre propre buanderie où nous pouvons répondre à vos besoins de lumière de blanchisserie. Notre emplacement est semi-rural, à seulement 12 minutes de Mount Vernon. Ceci est un endroit idéal pour l'amateur de plein air avec des sentiers de randonnée et de vélo de montagne à proximité. L'emplacement offre un accès facile aux contreforts de la montagne Cascade Range, Mount Baker, et de la rivière Skagit, ainsi que La Conner, Deception Pass et les îles San Juan. Situé à seulement 70 miles au nord de Seattle et à 50 miles au sud de la / frontière canadienne US dans la vallée de Skagit. Il ya beaucoup de boutiques et de restaurants pour être apprécié, de nombreuses galeries d'art et les musées, et les festivals locaux toute l'année, comme le Festival de pygargue à tête blanche, Skagit Valley Festival des tulipes, le Festival des Arts Anacortes. Mount Baker Ski Resort est à seulement une heure. Dirigez-vous vers les îles San Juan via le Washington State Ferry et visiter les îles. Après une journée d'activité, revenir à la suite Fig Tree, se détendre, prendre une gorgée et profiter de la vue.

The cleanest VRBO I have every stayed at!!

We have stayed in a lot of VRBOs but this was the cleanest I have ever stayed at! The room and environment was so peaceful that I wish we could have stayed longer. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here!!

Superb place

The Fig Tree is a beautiful property and one of the best VRBO rentals we have ever encountered. It is very well-appointed,, quiet and private, and the hosts couldn't be nicer or more helpful. I enthusiastically recommend the Fig Tree and hope we can return soon.

Great place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We had everything we needed, and the view is fantastic! July and Tom are great hosts. We really enjoyed talking to them. We especially enjoyed picking all the fresh fruits they had in their yard. Our blackberry pie was yummy! We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for everything, July and Tom!

hidden gem

Clean, Quiet and roomier than the photos indicate. Lovely view out onto Clear Lake from the large slider to the deck. We were 3 adults and loved the quiet, the setting and the location. Owners great resource and flexible. Great start to our vacation as we headed east on 20 after that to the Methow Valley.

A beautiful escape!

I stayed at the Fig Tree Suite for part of my week-long trip to Seattle and the surrounding national parks. July and Tom are extremely warm and welcoming. The suite is very roomy, clean, comfortable, and has all the amenities you could ask for! Sleeping on that bed is like sleeping on a cloud! The view from the deck was stunning to wake up to each morning. I would recommend this suite to anybody visiting the North Cascades region!! I hope to return on another vacation in the future.

A special place

This is my second stay at Fig Tree and I hope I will have many more. The Fig Tree is a cozy, warm and comfortable retreat for me. July & Tom are warm and caring people who make me feel welcome and safe as a guest. The apartment has a great view of Clear Lake, surrounding foothills & valley. Such a special spot perched on a hill. There was nothing missing in the apartment that could have made my stay comfortable. I thank them for sharing this place with me. Marcia

Mt Baker Pre Hike Stay

July and Tom were extraordinary host. The property was in excellent condition as we prepared for Mt Baker Summit adventure. July and Tom waited for our arrival and explained everything on the property, took their time to show the property and its functionality. They were very friendly and made us feel like home. We really enjoyed the peace and quite moment. Gave us very good restaurants recommendations in town. We felt very secured and welcomed. Thank You. Definitely will recommend or come back.

As hospitable as always

Always a joy to stay at the Fig Tree. The owners are warm and welcoming and always ready to supply whatever you need for an enjoyable stay. The view of the peaceful, placid lake is superb, the bed comfortable and the size of the room ample so one does not feel like you are cramped. This is a welcome retreat to come back to after a day of adventuring in the Skagit Valley region. Top marks again for our hosts!

Most surprising nice place

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We where only 8 minutes from town where there are really good restaurants. Close to what we wanted to see. This place a really enjoyable place to stay. The bed is extra comfortable and the view is the best. The owner are great. They check on us at lease once a day to be sure everything was ok. I will be back again:)

Clean, quiet and beautiful view!

This property is easy to find but also nicely tucked away so it's quiet and peaceful. July came right out to greet us, gave us some great restaurant recommendations and showed us the apartment. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, not at all nosy or intrusive. The apartment was clean, comfortable and has a great view of the lake. We would stay here again!

Fantastic Experience

I spent three months here while doing an internship at a local hospital, and the stay could't have been better. Quiet and serene, and still very close to Mount Vernon. Highly recommended!

Worth it all

This is the fifth time we've stayed at the Fig Tree and we will do it again. It is well worth the stay; the hosts are so friendly and thoughtful; the view is beautiful and inspiring; the quiet and peaceful surroundings are so relaxing. It's conveniently located close enough to all the sights and activities in the Skagit Valley and yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city and the freeway. Can't recommend it enough. :-)

Serene and clean; a great place to think

I really enjoyed my three quiet nights, which I had set aside to read and write. I enjoyed the apartment, its comfort and cleanliness (also loved this amazing eucalyptus body wash!) and lovely light and view; and its proximity to both La Conner and Mt. Vernon for day trips. The owner was so sweet - she even brought my laptop, when I left it behind, to Mt. Vernon! I hope to stay again!

The Fig Tree Suite was a perfect home away from home for our first trip exploring Mt. Baker. The view of the lake from the Suite is beautiful, peaceful and serene. The kitchen is very well equipped and the entire home is very clean and well maintained. Our hosts, July and Tom, were extremely helpful, friendly and informative when we had questions. A perfect stay!

Pleasant Stay

Peaceful, beautiful location.

July and Tom are wonderful people. They made our stay a great experience. The house was well supplied and in a perfect location for all we wanted to do. It was away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to towns for convenience.

Perfect fit!

In his spare time, Tom is an avid hiker, mountain biker and gardener, and can direct you to some nearby rides and hikes. I am passionate about yoga and I have a small studio on our property. In the winter months I enjoy sewing, baking sour dough bread, and a variety of craft projects. We are excited to have you as our guest, to share the beauty of the Skagit Valley, and perhaps connect with you in your town someday.
