Located in Crofton, Nebraska, this Lewis and Clark Lake house sits on the Nebraska bluffs across from Yankton, South Dakota, with easy access to Lakeview Golf Course, a public sand beach, a public marina, nearby hiking trails and a garage big enough to park your boat. In addition, guests can rent boats on Lewis and Clark Lake, bring their own boats to the public ramp, or spend long afternoons fishing along the shoreline. The home is designed for groups that want space to spread out, with each family able to claim their own floor and settle into private areas. Six comfortable bedrooms feature new queen beds, ideal for family gatherings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, golf trips, and lake vacations. Four bathrooms keep mornings relaxed so everyone can ease into the day after time on the lake.

The living spaces are bright, modern, and built for connection. Two fully stocked kitchens give guests room to cook together, prep for a day on the water, or split duties during more extended stays. The outdoor living area opens to panoramic views that frame Nebraska’s signature sunsets in wide color. Evenings often end around the campfire, and plenty of room to gather and tell stories. The large garage can hold a boat, a trailer, or lake gear, making arrival and departure simple for guests traveling with equipment.

Our family had a wonderful time staying in this lovely house. It is so full of light and spacious. We were able to put the littles to bed early on a different floor while the adults played loud games. The ping pong table was great entertainment to keep kids off their phones too! We would stay here again!

We had a great stay here with family. The house was extremely clean and everything looked new. The setup was perfect for a big group. Having two full kitchens, one on each floor, made it easy for our crew to spread out and still have their own space when they wanted it.The basement was open and worked really well for the kids to play and hang out. Even though it was winter, we still spent time outside around the fire pit, which was a nice surprise. The garage was huge and became a fun spot to play bags and just relax together. There was plenty of room for everyone without ever feeling crowded. I would absolutely recommend this place, especially for large family gatherings.

Our family has been coming to this corner of Lewis and Clark Lake for two generations. The bluffs, the water, and the slower pace are part of our history and some of our best memories. We recently purchased this property, which had been previously listed, and we’re excited to continue welcoming guests here. Weekends were always about moving between cabins, watching the sunset from the deck, squeezing in boat rides and golf, and spending time with friends who showed up year after year. That rhythm still matters to us, and we’ve kept it in mind as we care for this lake house today.


If you like to do a little homework, our backgrounds are easy to find. Beth and Luis Trejo are owners of Chatterkick, a social media agency and Kyle and Rachel Kovarna of Riverstone Realty are publicly visible, local, and have had a lake house in the neighborhood close by, Hideaway Acres. We live and work in the Sioux City area and all believe that reputation matters and follow-through is expected. It's our goal to respond quickly, fix things the right way, and treat this lake house like a long-term investment, not a quick flip. Our goal is simple. Take care of the property, respect our guests, and make sure every stay feels solid, comfortable, and well looked after, from booking to checkout and everything in between. Welcome to one of our favorite spots on the lake!

We bought this newly constructed home in 2025 because we wanted a place with the same energy as our family cabin nearby. The views are wide, the air is quiet, and the lake always gives you something to do. Whether your trip is about family time, a getaway with friends, or a few calm days by the water, we hope the space feels easy and welcoming from the moment you arrive.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Before we ever owned this lake house, we stayed here ourselves when it was a short term rental under a previous owner. We rented it to bring our work family and co-workers in from all over the country to experience one of our favorite parts of the Midwest. Lewis and Clark Lake, the Missouri River, and the Nebraska bluffs left the impression we hoped they would.

What stood out right away was how well the home worked for real groups. It has two kitchens and can function as two fully separate units. The upper floor operates independently from the main and basement floors, each with its own kitchen, outdoor access, and entry from the garage. You can stay together or fully separate, depending on how your group wants to use the space. We also noticed how extremely clean it was and that it’s new construction. Everything felt fresh, well cared for, and easy to settle into.

This home sits on the Nebraska bluffs with a full sweep of Lewis and Clark Lake in view, giving it a different feel than cabins tucked into the trees or homes closer to town. The layout was designed for groups that want to be together without being on top of each other. Each floor gives a family or friend group its own space, and the dual kitchens make longer stays easier since everyone can cook, spread out, and enjoy their own space.

You get modern finishes, big windows, and wide-open lake views. The deck and fire pit draw you outside, especially at sunset when the ridge lights up. You’re close to the marina, golf course, and public beach, yet set back along a stretch of shoreline that feels private. It’s a lake house built for comfort, space, and days that unfold without rushing.
