Tucked into the corner of a 40 ACRE parcel you will find this majestic log home overlooking Lewis and Clark Lake. This unique property is located at the end of a PRIVATE road with absolutely no neighbors. This fabulous custom home features over 3200 square feet of finished living area, plus a 2000 square foot unfinished walk-out basement with game-room! Most of the windows, on all three levels, look out to the gorgeous Lake. The main floor features an oversize primary bedroom with King size bed and an ensuite bathroom. Formal dining area has a large table with seating for 12 people. Living and dining rooms have soaring ceilings with giant log trusses overhead and 2-story windows that fill the home with sunshine. We have almost 1200 square feet of lake-view decks at this property, outdoor seating includes multiple tables and chairs to enjoy the never-ending views. We have fast WIFI and 3 Roku TVs, so you can log into your streaming accounts and not miss your favorite movies or shows. Our gourmet kitchen features a commercial size gas stove with griddle plus wall oven / microwave and there is also a 4 burner Weber grill on the deck. Kitchen is fully stocked and features a toaster oven, drip coffee maker, toaster, Keurig machine, blender and dishwasher. Main floor has a half bath, and individual laundry room with washer / dryer and laundry room sink. Upstairs you will discover a large open loft area that overlooks the kitchen and living room, this open loft features 3 queen size beds. There is a suspended walkway that leads to 2 more upstairs bedrooms, each with a queen size bed. These bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom with a shower over tub and dual sinks. The house has central air conditioning, ceiling fans, tower fans and forced air heat to keep you comfortable.

Walk out basement features a spacious 4th bathroom with a stall shower. You will also find a commercial quality pool table, foosball table, bar and bar stools in our lower level. Don't miss the couch / loveseat and our 3rd ROKU TV down there; this space will continue to improve over time. Oversized 3 car garage has direct access to the home and there is additional parking in the large driveway.

Home has 1 King bed, 5 Queen size beds, couches, easy chair and a large sectional that allows us to sleep 12 comfortably. You will want a car or truck that is appropriate for gravel roads, a 4x4 or all-wheel drive might be necessary in the winter months, however we do keep our driveway plowed when it snows.

Bring your kayaks and launch them from the shore below our property. You can also toss out a line and fish from the beach. This access has no boat dock or ramp, but you can park cars and trailers here and it is a short 3/4-mile drive from our front door. If you have a boat with a trailer there are two options to get you on the water: The Tabor Recreational Area is only a 5-mile drive from our location; this lake access area has a primitive boat ramp and room to park multiple vehicles with boat trailers. The Gavins Point boat ramp is about 10 miles from our house, and it has a legitimate boat ramp and parking for trucks and trailers.

This amazing property is perfect for anyone wanting to get away, family gatherings, retreats, hunting, fishing, boating and golfing trips. There are plenty of hiking trails to explore during the day and the night sky can be filled with bright stars. You will fall in love with this home and the peaceful location is nothing short of remarkable.

We are about 12 miles outside Yankton and all of the dining, shopping and other amenities you find in a small town. We have 2 full-size cornhole sets for you to enjoy plus an assortment of board games and puzzles.

We don't do "instant booking" because we want to make sure the home is a match for your family. It is very important to us that you have a great time at the lodge. This property was new to VRBO in 2023, but it had been rented previously to family and friends. We are hands on hosts, and this is our only short-term rental, we respond quickly and care about the quality of your vacation. Our goal is to make sure you have a fabulous stay and hope that you look forward to coming back to stay with us again. Feel free to reach out with questions, we know it is hard to understand all of the details just from photos and descriptions. This is a very unique house and there are many exciting things to do on the property and in the area. Lewis and Clark Lake welcomes over 2 million visitors each year and once you have been there you will know why.

We have a great team in place to make sure you have a memorable vacation when you stay at The Eldorado Lodge. This includes our cleaners, handyman, plumber and HVAC professionals. We try to address any issues ASAP and are always available before and during your stay.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We are not aware of a similar property on Lewis and Clark Lake. We have amazing, unobstructed lake / sunset views from this property that must be seen in person. Our property is about 12 miles from Yankton, and you truly feel “away” from everything out here. We have an amazing variety of wildlife to enjoy: deer, turkeys, Bald Eagles, fox, coyotes, ducks and geese ETC. There are miles of walking trails and fruit trees on the property as well as places to sled in the winter. There is a primitive lake access area just below our property. From this location you can launch kayaks and canoes, skip rocks and fish from the shore. There is room to park a car or two, but no boat ramp or dock. This area is a short 3/4-mile hike or drive, on a gravel road, from the house. The Tabor Access area is about 5 miles away from the log house and there is a boat ramp, camping area and picnic tables at this location. This is a good place to launch a boat if you want to fish, waterski or pull an inner tube behind your boat. The Lewis and Clark Marina is about 9 miles away and features a full-service boat launch, restaurants, docks and gas station. There are plenty of options to get your family on the lake from our location.

Unique property with one of the best views on the lake. Located at the end of a private road with no neighbors you will truly feel away from it all. This is a custom-built log house and these huge timbers were all sourced in Canada, assembled there and put on trucks to be rebuilt on our foundation. There are no roads, or buildings between this house and the Lake. You are surrounded by nature, wildlife and tranquility.
