Les vacances parfaites en famille dans une cabane en rondins du Colorado ou une escapade romantique! 'Mountain Song' est une authentique maison en bois rond de 3 chambres et 2 salles de bains nichée sur le rivage d'un lac de montagne serein bordant le parc national des Montagnes Rocheuses et la forêt nationale d'Arapahoe ... avec une vue imprenable sur les montagnes et des pins luxuriants!

Tant à faire ici! Détendez-vous sur le pont surplombant le lac et les montagnes, tandis que les enfants jouent sur la plage de sable du lac Sun Valley, un lac de montagne privé non motorisé. Vous pourrez profiter pleinement de nos canoës, pédalos, vélos et gilets de sauvetage.

La propriété abrite une faune abondante et constitue un habitat naturel pour l'orignal (les veaux d'orignal naissent le long de notre lac chaque printemps). Connu comme le meilleur endroit pour voir l'orignal de près à Grand Lake! Observez la faune sauvage paître le long du rivage du lac de montagne vierge - à quelques mètres du pont! Le wapiti, le cerf, le renard, la loutre, le castor, l'ours, le balbuzard pêcheur et les colibris sont des visiteurs fréquents!

Notre authentique maison en bois rond a une atmosphère chaleureuse et spacieuse avec des plafonds en rondins apparents voûtés, une grande cuisine à aire ouverte et un coin salle familiale avec foyer au bois. La cuisine est entièrement équipée, avec table à manger pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 12! La maison est décorée avec goût avec un décor de chalet de montagne confortable et classique.

Une chambre abrite un lit King avec un lit superposé et 2 chambres Queen chacune avec un loft ce qui en fait l'endroit idéal pour 2-3 familles ou couples en vacances ensemble! La chambre familiale dispose également d'un futon en taille réelle pour dormir plus.

L'emplacement de Mountain Song est absolument idéal pour tous les âges! Niché juste entre le parc national des Montagnes Rocheuses et la forêt nationale d'Arapahoe, il y a plusieurs débuts de sentiers à distance de marche. Explorez des centaines de kilomètres de sentiers pour la randonnée, le vélo, la raquette, le ski de fond, le VTT ou la motoneige juste devant la porte! Une station au bout de notre route propose des VTT, des motoneiges et des chevaux à louer. Le parcours de golf de championnat 18 trous local est à seulement 2 miles.

La merveilleuse ville conviviale de Grand Lake est à seulement 4 minutes en voiture et propose une marina à service complet où vous pouvez louer des bateaux pontons et des jet-skis, et il y a une grande plage familiale. Promenez-vous sur la promenade du centre-ville et explorez de nombreuses galeries d'art locales, boutiques de cadeaux, restaurants, glaciers, karts, bowling et plus encore! Un grand parc central herbeux offre un endroit idéal pour pique-niquer et une grande aire de jeux pour les enfants. Great relaxing lake house for large group

The house was VERY well stocked with all of the things that you want and need! We felt at home very quickly. We enjoyed the views and the lake. The lake is great for kayaking, canoing, and fishing. It's too shallow for swimming or a large boat, however.

Perfect Getaway

The cabin is amazing. Plenty of room and activities for three families kids ages 8-13. The wildlife was awesome including the fishing, humming birds, moose, and Bald Eagle sightings! The host was unbelievably responsive both before and during our stay! Perfect trip!

Lots of bathrooms, which was great for us!

We had 5 families, 4 kids. It was a great place for us. We loved seeing moose everyday from our window. We enjoyed time on the lake and hot tub. Lots of games at the house for the rainy day. Close to a lot of fun things to do. We would stay there again.

The cabin is stunning. Prime location by Rocky Mountain National Park and town of Grand Lake. I had a couple questions & concerns during stay and Allison promptly responded. We met her husband when he came out to check on my concern. Very friendly and helpful. You will love staying here.

Our stay was great! The cabin layout was perfect for 4 families to enjoy Grand Lake. Skiing, snowmobiling and tubing were all easily accessible from the property. The house was very well stocked from the kitchen to the firewood. We will absolutely be back.

A lovely, spacious cabin just outside the Rocky Mountain National Park.

There were four family groupings for a total of 9 people and the cabin was spacious and offered plenty of room. The kitchen was a highlight as we all cook and there was every imaginable kitchen item there. We hosted a couple of family dinners for a larger group, and the cabin worked well for that, too. The younger generation enjoyed the game room downstairs.

Memorable stay

Our stay was absolutely perfect. The space was clean, and beautiful, and had everything we needed. The kids loved being able to fish in the lake, ride the bikes, and the adults enjoyed having so many different places to sit and relax. The proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park is perfect for a long day hike, or a quick just a quick walk through. Our family enjoyed walking the beautiful downtown Grand Lake. We hope to stay again next year!

New years in Grand Lake

This place was absolutely wonderful! Our family had the best time. Your house had everything we needed. No detail was forgotten. The house is even more beautiful in person. We woke up with a moose standing not far from the house which the kids thought was so cool! We hope to be back. Thanks for sharing your home!

Incredible NYE experience!

We celebrated a birthday and NYE with a large group of friends from all over the country! This VRBO is truly incredible. It is apparent that there is a lot of love and thought that has gone into each and every space throughout the place. The large rooms and en-suite bathrooms for most rooms are perfect for large groups and famalies. The large dining table is perfect for large groups to all be together. There are many games and activities within the house itself but the surrounding area of Grand Lake is perfect for winter activities and very close by (10 minute drive). Our group not only enjoyed all the ammenities of the house but went cross country skiing inside rocky mountain national park which was an unforgettable experience! Would reccomend this house to everyone. The host, Allie, was also very responsive and accomodating!

Breathtaking views amazing holiday - June 17th 2018

I can't say enough good things about this cabin and the location, we had an absolutely amazing time! The cabin is lovely, much bigger than the pictures suggest, it's well stocked with everything you would need! The views of the lake and mountains are amazing, and we saw moose every day, including one playing in the lake! :-) It's only 5 mins to the Rocky Mountain National Park for even more awesome scenery, and wildlife! Winding River Resort is very close to the cabin, has horses and does trecks into the park too. The little town of Grand Lake has some nice places to eat. A fantastic holiday we will definitely return! :-)

A family treasure

This was our second two week Summer vacation at Mountain Song. It did not disappoint in the slightest. The owners were very responsive to any question or issue encountered. The place and location is magical for a family . We will continue to book this as long as they let us and have no doubt our kids will talk about all of the Summers spent there in 40 years. You will not make a mistake booking this for your family..

Great stay!

I was a little nervous because the listing was slightly confusing and seemed reused from the old property. But this property is AMAZING! They really made it feel homey. They had so many different utensils and spices in the kitchen it made it so easy to cook! The beds were extremely comfortable and we always felt warm in the house. Everything was so clean and well thought out! I highly recommend this home for large families like ours!

The Best Christmas Vacation Spot for All Ages

This beautiful log cabin was perfect for our Christmas Vacation. From our 2 year old grandson all the way up to my 86 year old Mother-in-Law. The cabin was more amazing than the pictures. There was not one amenity left out. Our family of 14 fit easily and comfortably. Ali and Erick took care of our every need. We had one problem with the range and Erick and his son took care of it by replacing the range on CHRISTMAS EVE! Thank you Erick and Ali for helping our family have the best Christmas vacation experience ever!

Charming cabin - great location.

So happy to have come across the mountain song cabin listing. You cannot tell how truly beautiful the home and property are from the pictures. It is a real rustic log cabin with every detail having a touch of cabin flare. The back deck looks right onto the lake with beautiful mountain peaks in the distance - making it picture perfect. You could sit out there all day looking at all the birds and wildlife passing by. The cabin also had everything you needed from breakfast to BBQing. Truly a great place for a family getaway. We will definitely be back next year. Highly recommend the pontoon boat rides on Lake Granby. What a great trip.

Amazing 4 days in Grand Lake

We were looking for a rustic, comfortable place for our family of 6 (4 young kids) to stay near Grand Lake, and the Rocky Mountain National Park, and "Mountain Song" Cabin #4 was such a lucky find! We've never had such a well stocked vacation rental - from the labeled cabinets, to every detail that has been thought out, there is almost nothing you need but the clothes you need for your vacation, and some groceries! The kids loved the lofts in the bedrooms, the bikes, the paddle boat and canoe, the list goes on. We had moose walking less than 10 feet away from our back window, and saw elk roaming the property. The setting was amazing. The location could not have been better for enjoying Grand Lake, or the National Park and all of its trails and natural beauty. The cabin was perfect. Highly reccomended!

A Blessed Home

Upon entering the house, we took a collective gasp at the beauty. So many things were so spot-on: solid construction; everything last little thing has been thought of; well-appointed; everything works; games galore, card table, big family dining table, hooks for everything, loads of space, well-stocked kitchen with loads of counter space, comfy beds, awesome bathrooms/showers, great hot tub, multiple options for dining locations, privacy, the lake, boats/kayaks/canoes, firepits, hummingbird feeders, and of course the moose sightings, which were multiple times/day (with babies in tow). And Pete the Pelican was a big surprise. The geese and ducks, the mountains, the thoughtfulness of the owners -- all top notch! Thank you!

Amazing !

This vrbo was amazing. We stayed here with our children and grandchildren ages 4 months to 7 years old. It was perfect for all ages. The cabin , lake and surrounding area is gorgeous ! It is a peaceful lake with great fishing ,boating, swimming ,and just sitting a relaxing. We saw a mama moose and her baby every day as well as ducks and their babies and geese. There is a nice play area that the grandchildren spent hours playing in and also enjoyed riding the bikes. The pictures do not do the cabin justice. It is very nice. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kids had fun in the lofts. The cabins are in the perfect location. There is horse back riding , and four wheeling very close. The cabins are very close to Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. Sun Valley is our favorite vacation spot so far. It was a special place to make life long family memories !

We were recently introduced to the Grand Lake area and fell in love with it. So we decided to pursue the dream of owning our own cabin and making it available for others to rent. We are an extended family ownership from the Northern Colorado area. The peaceful, serene location of this cabin is what we have fallen in love with.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

-There are many reasons we have chosen this area of Colorado to rent out and vacation. Right from our 'front door and cabin' we have spectacular views of the Never Summer Mountain Range. A 20 acre non-motorized lake located 20 yards from our porch in which you can fish, paddle boat or canoe from . An entrance to 250 miles of extended trails for 4 wheeling, snowmobiling, cross country skiing, mountain biking located only a couple miles down the road. The Grand Lake town is only a 5 minute drive and offers great dining and wonderful Grand Lake Views. Everything offered just right from the front door.
