This property was perfect size for our family of 6. It is in a great location, 15-20 minute drive to all attractions, and 30-40 minute drive to most major hikes. It was a comfortable, clean retreat at the end of each day!
The cabin had plenty of room for any size family. No issues, other than the light over the kitchen sink didnât work and one of the bathroom vanities had a missing lightbulb.
Pay attention to the reminder to lock your car doors. The bears can open them. This house is spacious & welcoming for large groups. Close to so much & far enough out for privacy.
We had a wonderful stay at this property in June, 2024. It was great to get away from the activity in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge to go rest up and then be close enough to be back for fun with the family. This is a very clean and inviting place to stay for vacation. Thanks for everything!!
This was a great place to stay with my whole family. Clean, great scenery and close to Pigeon Forge. Couldn't ask for better or more responsive hosts. We will be back for sure.
We had a great time at the cabin. Very spacious house and had everything we needed. We loved the downstairs game room, we had so much fun. I also loved the deck on the back, you are almost to the top of the trees. It was beautiful, and peaceful.
We are a family of 6 adults and 2 children and booked this accommodation for a reunion between the English and American contingents. It was the first time we had met in over 12 months so we were really looking forward to getting together again.Unfortunately the first night of our reunion was marred by a health/hygiene issue with the cabin which caused quite a lot of distress and greatly disrupted our celebrations. The owner/manager of the cabin responded acceptably and promised to refund our first nightâs fees. Subsequently 250 was refunded. However we rented the cabin for 3 nights and paid 1346.21 in total and so the refund does not even cover the first night let alone compensation for the upset caused and the time we spent cleaning the basement area. I have contacted the owner again to point this out but have not received a satisfactory response.Despite us being pleased with the cabin facilities and location we are very disappointed with this recent lack of response, failure to fulfil the promised refund and the fact that the cabin was not checked for cleanliness before our arrival.
Quiet, very convenient location with everything we needed
The location is perfect! You can avoid the heavier traffic to get to downtown Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We loved the arcade and pool table and spent a lot of time in the basement area. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking in. We had 3 families staying and we all had our own space. It is peaceful outside with cabins spaced far apart. We will definitely book again!
We had a great time with family at this beautiful cabin. Plenty of room for 9 of us. Only real issues were a lot of leaves on porches and in gutters, understandable this time of year, but had to sweep some of them away to use hot tub. Need much better lighting in front. We didn't think the road was bad as someone stated in another review considering it is the mountains. Didn't want to leave! Easy to communicate with owner.
It was a beautiful cabin in a semi-private area. However, when we were preparing for bed we discovered there were no linens on some of the beds. Other beds had food and body fluids on the linens. There were very few towels & washcloths available and what was there were wet. Under the furniture was food and trash that not sure how long had been there. The bathtubs were dirty. The clothes dryer did not work. There was not beds/pull out sofas as described in the property description. It appears we had to just "make do" for our stay there.
We absolutely loved the location of this cabin - both in relation to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg as well as the "isolation". There were other cabins on the single lane road but they were far enough apart that you felt like you were alone. The cabin itself was spacious enough for the 6 of us with space left over for our family that visited one night. While the cabin floors were spotless (and beautiful) there were surfaces that just didn't feel clean so we gave it a good once over with our trusty 7th Generation. The front porch and deck were both covered in leaves, which can be expected in the woods, but the volume showed that they hadn't been swept in a while. We spent the first 1/2 hour clearing both of leaves and spiderwebs. The kitchen was stocked pretty well but the dishwasher, stove and refrigerator were obviously old and needing some love. We're all Food Network junkies and love to cook and trade off meal prep duties, eating just 1-2 meals out, so this had a major impact on our stay. However, if you prefer to eat out and just make a quick breakfast/lunch then the kitchen would work just fine. Communication with the owners was fantastic - they were quick to respond and offered great recommendations for a pizza place (the night we arrived) and grocery store. We had a slight hiccup with the hot tub and they sent someone out the night we arrived - which we genuinely appreciated.
The cabin was great! My family and I had a wonderful time plenty of room. Only a 15 minute drive to Dollywood and all the attractions. I would definitely stay here again.
This cabin was perfect for our family. We wanted a place that we could hang out at the cabin or go out. We were not disappointed.
The cabin road itself is a single lane and curvy, but this was never an issue for us, plenty of space to pull to the side if needed. We only needed to pull to the side once during our week stay.
Everyone enjoyed playing pool, the arcade game, the hot tub and just the scenery alone. The cabin is surrounded by trees. Going in the fall made it the perfect time to spend outside in nature. There was plenty of room for our kids to play and our dogs as well.
The cabinets were stocked with plenty of dishes, mixing bowls, pots and pans.
Any questions or concerns I had leading up to the stay or during were quickly addressed.
Overall we had an amazing time!
We are the Blier's and Chaplin's and are great friends who love to travel and spend life together. Janice is a retired country music singer who now manages our properties and David is winding down a 30 year career as an IT professional. The Blier's reside on a 10 acre farm in Nashville, TN and besides raising children, they also raise pigs, sheep, chicken, cows, and a few hundred thousand honey bees :) The Chaplin's also reside near Nashville on a 10 acre wooded farm. Todd is a real estate professional and Cherri is an OT with a local school system. We look forward to helping you have the most amazing time while visiting our cabin!
We have always loved the Smoky Mountains and all the activities available in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. When we entered this cabin we instantly knew that it was the right one for us. Centrally located between both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. It is both very large and private, just a short drive up a small hill at the base of the Smokies. We thought long and hard about what we like when we vacation and did out best to incorporate everything we could in order that your experience would be one of the most memorable trips you have ever taken. Relax in the hot tub under a starlit night, watch your favorite sporting event, stay in and cook an amazing dinner in the fully equipped kitchen, enjoy the view from the loft while reading a book, challenge your friends to any number of games such as the pool table, stand up 60 in 1 arcade, foosball, PS4,cards, etc... All of these are before you ever leave the cabin. This area has so much to offer that there is no way I could list them all. We also like to have an insiders opinion when we travel and so if there are ever any questions about our cabin or recommendations you might need while staying at our place, we are just a quick message or call away and will respond within minutes.
If you have ever been to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge you know that it is very busy. Lots to do means lots of visitors and from time to time traffic can be a challenge. The location of our cabin is one of the most unique benefits. Before you get to the busy strip in Pigeon Forge, you will skip around it on the bypass and take just a few back roads right to our place. From our cabin you can get to just about any spot in Pigeon Forge within 10 minutes. We are also located just off the road that most local people use to skip all the tourist traffic when heading to Gatlinburg. That trip is just about 15 minutes to anything Gatlinburg has to offer.
