Ce chalet est l'endroit idéal pour votre séjour de pêche au doré ou à la perche sur le lac Érié. La rampe de mise à l'eau du Lake Shore Park, un magasin d'appâts, un stand de concession, une aire de pique-nique, une plage et un terrain de golf de frisbee sont tous accessibles à pied. La célèbre Bridge Street est à seulement 1,6 km où vous pourrez dîner dans l'un des nombreux excellents restaurants et pubs. De plus, faites vos achats dans l'un des petits magasins pittoresques de la rue. C'est également l'endroit idéal pour réserver votre voyage de charte de pêche sur le lac Érié.
Le chalet est dans un quartier très calme et tranquille mais proche de tout. Cottage a 2 chambres. 1 chambre a un lit queen et 1 pleine. 2ème chambre a deux lits doubles. La salle de bain a été entièrement rénovée. Le chalet est entièrement meublé et est fourni avec tous les ustensiles de cuisine dont vous auriez besoin. Une cuisinière électrique, un grand réfrigérateur et un gril au propane extérieur sont à votre disposition. Profitez d'un feu de camp ou détendez-vous simplement sur le pont avant. Il y a beaucoup de parking pour vos véhicules et votre bateau.
Geneva Wine Country est à environ 20 minutes en voiture ou réservez une visite des vins et laissez-les faire la conduite. Le restaurant et taverne Crows Nest est accessible à pied.

Quiet and peaceful locationInstructions for entry and exit not a clear as possible, along with use of TV. Manager changed code at last minute and internet password was incorrect on the instructions.Bathroom extremely crampedBeds were OK but not optimal comfort.(we are an older couple and the bath and bed situation were important)

Good location

We enjoyed our stay here. It is close to the beach which was perfect for my grandchildren, they could go swimming as often as they wanted. The house is small, but worked fine for us. We would stay here again.

I love this little cottage

This is my third stay in this cottage. The host is very helpful and kind. It reminds me of my Aunt and grandmother’s little houses by the Lake. I can’t wait to come back!

Nice getaway

Great location, short walk to the beach. Quick drive to anything you may need. Communication was great and had no issues. If you have more than one vehicle you may want to ask where is best to park but not something I had to deal with. Overall, i'd stay again given the opportunity.

Quiet and yards from park & boat launch

Perfect for small family or friends looking for inexpensive spot to enjoy lake Erie. Seconds from public boatr launch, minutes from downtown Ashtabula for charters. Clean, cozy and was perfect for our low maintence fishing group.

3 feet of snow and a state of emergency but still great!

We were unaware of just how bad the weather was going to be when we got there. Host had texted me via the VRBO app that day but I didn’t see it. Mr Harrah was extremely communicative with us the whole time and just an overall great guy. More than that was how amazing the community was. Everyone was so helpful and took care of us. Special shout to Nikki’s Bar! They took us in when we couldn’t get down our street and treated us like family with cold beers and got pizza so we could warm up! We will be back but will def check the weather with the new folks we met first!

Great location nice and clean space. Its our second visit there. Ee have no complaints other than the door wnt stay shut and it was the same situation a year ago. Over all we give it 4.5 out of 5 stars and will be back next year

From the time I unlocked the door and entered there was a smile on my face. This rental was so much more than I had hoped for it was a "WOW! It was clean...it sparkled...it felt like home...what a relaxing place to stay! This house rate more than five stars! Thanks, for a great time!

Good Weekend Trip

Communicating with Roger was very easy. Only reason I’d give this a 4 instead of 5 stars is small things. We didn’t realize neighbors were so close based on photos (but overall didn’t affect us), the porch had quite a bit of cob webs and the furniture was a little broken. It also was hard to cool off the house as it was pretty warm outside. However, the main bedroom where we slept was nice and cool with the AC. It really was a great location, close to the beach area and restaurants, and worked for our quick weekend trip. I don’t remember if this was included before-but no WiFi. Didn’t bother us. We really did enjoy it and it worked for a quick weekend!

Rundown down, unsafe and MOLD

This rental was horrible. The entrance door had a keyless entry but isn't held in by an actual catch, the door moved about 3/4" in the jamb and was only held shut by about 1/4" of wood left in the jamb. VERY UNSAFE. There were tons of cobwebs everywhere which led me to think it wasn't cleaned for some time- host claimed that bugs are present because of the lake... Only the kitchen and the larger room (being used as a bedroom) were air conditioned with window units. There is a second room that had 2 twin bed shoved in it, one of which covered an egress door that had exposed spray foam insulation and a window that looked like it was falling out- it was very hot in that room. The larger room smelled of mildew and mold and mold was present above the one window unit. That unit was in a sliding window with a towel placed over the inoperable side to cover the window. The owners had air fresheners placed in a bunch of places to mask the odors but it wasn't enough. The kitchen looked to have been redone recently as well as the restroom, the peninsula.wasn't attached very well to the wall and paint was peeling off the walls in a few spots. The pergola was leaning against the house and if someone leaned on it wrong it could come crashing down. We had to leave because of the safety concerns and mold issues, as well as the room that was too hot. Owner offered a fan, not very hospitable. Not sure why there were so many positive reviews but beware, owner will not refund. DISGUSTING!

Nice , quiet area near the Lake for a nice week.

This vintage cottage is nicely maintained and has a cute decor. It was perfect for our girlfriends week. The kitchen has almost everything that is needed to cook nice meals. I will say that the bathroom, while immaculately clean is a touch small for plus sized persons, but we managed nicely. Afternoons on the front deck with our sewing machines was perfect with the shade cover from the huge maple trees. The entertainment from the young eagles soaring overhead was priceless! I would book here again without hesitating. Thanks!

I’m a life long resident of Ashtabula County and retired firefighter. I can give great recommendations on food, fishing, and other fun things to do in the area.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The Lake Shore Park neighborhood is very safe and quiet. You can observe Bald Eagles, or hang out at the nearby boat ramp and bait shop to watch the fishermen bring in their catch. The park itself is within walking distance from the cottage. The park offers picnic areas and a covered pavilion, frisbee golf course, beach area, swimming, fishing, and a boat ramp.
