This cabin and property is beautiful , quiet , great beds, extra clean, relaxing porches and fire-pit area. I also loved that is was close to downtown blue ridge as well.

We have been to this property 3 different times in the last few years! Lookkng forward to the next time already! Location is amazing! Hosts can’t be beat! Feels like home and so so comfortable! The beds and linens are so nice and the kitchen has everything one needs! Very clean and the furnishings are top notch! Can hardly wait to return again! Thanks for the amazing stay!

The cabin exceeded my expectations. Surrounded by trees and nature like being in the middle of a forest. A quick 5-10 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge and the famous Mercier Apple Orchards. Cozy up by the gas fireplace or the outside fire pit. The bedrooms and bathrooms were super clean and comfortable. Would most definitely return to the wonderful cabin in the future.

This cabin is amazingly adorable, the pictures don’t even do it justice and even those are amazing! We stayed here for a girls trip and had the most comfortable beds! The cabin is roomy, well stocked, very clean and the outdoor porches had the most perfect furniture!

It was a great home for a reunion with my old flight attendant roomates . We flew with Eastern Airlines.We have now stayed in touch for 54 years. Our early years were in San Juan Puerto Rico oceanfront so our stay in the woods was awesome ! Fire pit the last night was so good listening to deer walking through the woods . Blue Ridge and Ellijay had so much to offer ! Great shopping and our dinner at Toccoa restaurant on the river was so nice . Trout was amazing. Thank you . 5 star Host !

This was a great cabin for our mother daughter annual trip! We do a trip every year in either Ellijay or Blue Ridge and this cabin was the most well stocked one we've rented in all our 20 years! I always bring extra cooking supplies and other supplies we usually aren't provided but we didn't need any of it this trip! The decor was so fun and the metal Halloween pumpkin coach was so cute. Loved the rockers and the beautiful high top on the back porch. The bedding and livingroom throws were so comfy. Just great all around. Coming from flat Florida, the drive in was quite easy with only one hill to climb, so that right there means a lot! We had no problem even with the narrower road. Other drivers were very considerate to pull to their side so we all passed safely. Communication with Marla and Bill was great as well. We'd def rent A Sweet Retreat again!

Cabin was in an excellent location. It was very clean and had everything we needed. We saw deer by the lake near the cabin. Parking was so easy with plenty turn around space.

What a great stay in the Blue Ridge Mountains! The WiFi was perfect for both my husband and I to work remotely for a week this summer. We spent the afternoons exploring all of the great wineries in the area and will definitely be back!

House was great, very clean and check-in was simple. Owners were easy to communicate with and the house is well located near Lake Blue Ridge. We are already making plans to visit again. Highly recommend this house and owner’s.

The directions to the cabin were clear. The location was great, the lake near by was picturesque. Close enough to town but felt remote. Very clean and well maintained! Great cabin!

This property is AMAZING!! The owners responded immediately with any questions we had. The decor was beautiful and fit the cabin perfectly. It was extremely clean and loved the privacy. The kitchen was perfect for making several meals. We loved the screened in porch area and also the outside downstairs with comfortable hanging chairs to enjoy the peacefulness. The short drive is easy into Blue Ridge. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

Our stay at the Sweet Retreat was amazing! While it did rain while there we found many boards games, movies to watch and enjoyed the covered porches! The rooms were super clean and ready for us when we arrived! No issues finding this location and is super close to everything we did! Thank you for hosting!

We have stayed at several properties in the Blue Ridge area. Sweet Retreat is at the top of the list of places we would recommend. Its cozy feel, proximity to Blue Ridge & the Aska adventure area can't be beat. We had a few special requests that Marla went out of her way to accommodate us. You can't go wrong booking this lovely vacation home.

we had an absolutely incredible honeymoon week here! check in was easy, communication was always timely, and the cabin itself was a dream. the kitchen is well stocked so we were able to cook most of our meals, the washer/ dryer was so nice to have, and the cabin had several thoughtful necessities in case we forgot anything from home. the “grass” part of the yard was the only thing we were slightly thrown off by, as it’s quite small and completely graveled so we had to explore a bit to find grass for the dog to run and stretch. this didn’t effect the quality of our stay at all, but was worth noting as a caution if you’re bringing a pup. overall we had a flawless stay and can’t wait to come back!
