L'allée spacieuse offre un grand parking - il y a même de la place pour garer votre bateau. Entrez par le carport au niveau du sol. Ce niveau d'entrée abrite «L'Alcôve» avec un lit queen-size confortable et une télévision «intelligente» de 81 cm avec Netflix. Particulièrement populaire auprès des adolescents mais suffisamment confortable pour les adultes!

Une histoire plus haut est le salon principal, y compris un salon avec une télévision `` intelligente '' à écran plat de 60 pouces (câble + Netflix) et de nombreux sièges confortables. La salle à manger a une table avec des sièges pour 8 et la cuisine bien équipée a un bar avec 5 tabourets de bar. Il y a un demi-bain à cet étage et, surtout, une terrasse en bord de mer au large du salon avec une table pour 6 et l'allée menant à la plage! Il y a aussi un canapé et des chaises d'extérieur confortables sur ce porche. Une courte promenade sur le trottoir et vous êtes dans le sable!

Le dernier étage a une suite principale en bord de mer avec un très grand lit king-size, une télévision à écran plat de 39 pouces (câble + Netflix) et une salle de bain privée avec douche. Les portes de cette chambre mènent au pont supérieur pour la meilleure vue sur l'océan de jour, les étoiles de nuit. C'est un endroit idéal pour bronzer sur les 4 chaises longues et observer les étoiles la nuit!

Les deux autres chambres se trouvent également à ce niveau. La chambre 2 dispose d'un autre lit queen-size confortable et d'une télévision à écran plat de 81 cm (câble + Netflix). La 3ème chambre, ou «chambre avec lits superposés», est parfaite pour les enfants avec deux ensembles de lits superposés et une télévision «intelligente» à écran plat de 32 pouces (câble + Netflix). Il y a une salle de bain complète dans le couloir desservant ces deux chambres avec une baignoire / douche.

Les autres caractéristiques intéressantes incluent un gril à gaz (situé dans le carport) pour griller des fruits de mer locaux frais ou des steaks. Il y a une douche extérieure chaude / froide pour rincer le sable sur votre chemin après une journée de détente et de jouer sur la plage. Il y a aussi plein de jeux, livres et magazines récents pour votre plaisir.

«Crowded» ne fait pas partie de notre vocabulaire sur cette partie de North Topsail Beach. Il y a beaucoup de place pour votre famille pour étaler des chaises et des couvertures, jouer au maïs, au bocci ou au paddle ball, lancer le football ou le frisbee et jouer vos airs de plage préférés, sans déranger ni être dérangé par d'autres. Détendez-vous alors que les enfants jouent dans les vagues, protégés par un banc de sable à environ 30 à 40 pieds, ou dans les bassins de marée qui peuvent apparaître tard dans la journée. Profitez d'une excellente pêche au surf autour des postes d'une ancienne jetée au nord de la maison ou surfez et surfez sur les vagues. Dans l'ensemble, un endroit parfait pour se détendre et profiter des longues journées d'été. Et par été, nous voulons dire de mai à octobre, au moins!

May vacation

My only issue was that the Netflix would not work even with the password, and it rained both days we were there. Other than that the view was amazing and the house was great!

A place to relax and recharge

Lovely home with deck facing the ocean. All conveniences provided. Has stairs but we were ok ,no one limited to climb them. Tastefully decorated and direct access to beach. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. Owner responded immediately to a problem with main floor a/c. Can honestly recommend this owner and home.

A Great Week at Sea La Vie!

We couldn’t have asked for a better week at Sea La Vie! The location is convenient to the amenities of both Surf City and Sneads Ferry, yet the beach is far from crowded. Everything was as advertised and we would certainly stay here again.

Awesome Visit

Owner is excellent and responsive. Views were amazing and the property is lovely and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked and the location is perfect - very quiet area - beautiful in the late fall.

Great place for a getaway

The house was great. It sits right on the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. It was perfect for a family getaway. Amy was also great. She was quick to respond to text and very friendly. Will definitely be returning!!!

Great house!

We spent a wonderful week at Sea La Vie. The kitchen was very well appointed, we really had everything we needed. The beach was gorgeous and quiet, we made lots of great family memories. The beds were comfortable and the room layout was great for a family of 5 - although we could easily have had a few more people and fit comfortably. I highly recommend for a family with small kids!

Topsail Treat

This place was fantastic! Well appointed, everything you could need, especially in the kitchen area. And, on top of it all, location, location, location. My wife and I especially enjoyed the top-floor balcony, where we could sit for hours and just enjoy the view! Thanks to the owner! We will return.

Great place for us and the dogs!

We LOVED this townhome in Topsail. Amy was super responsive (we had some issues with the TV at first) and addressed any concerns we had very quickly. Kitchen was nicely stocked and the views were awesome. This was a perfect place for dogs ... the floors were great and easy to clean up (we have 2 dogs so I vaccuumed a couple of times to help with the hair and sand). We will definitely stay again, can't wait until our next beach trip!

First Topsail vacation for our family

This was our first beach house vacation as a family and our first visit to Topsail. We loved our time at the beach and especially loved being right at the ocean. The location is wonderful. The beach right outside our door was never crowded and the convenience of the house being right there was great. The house offered everything we needed and we felt right at home. This was a special trip for our family too as our nephew, who is in the ARMY Special Forces, just returned from the Middle East and was able to come join us at the beach. A week of sun and family was just what he needed. Makes you realize how lucky we are!!!

A terrific location

This was our second stay at 'Sea La Vie', and we enjoyed it even more than the first. This section of the beach has not been busy during both our stays, which has been a bonus. The location - right on the beach - is terrific, and we enjoyed the outdoor areas of the property. In fact, we ate every meal outside. We have also appreciated that the porch and balcony options included opportunities to get some shade. We found it to be a relaxing setting that really met our needs. The kitchen and main living areas are nice and well-appointed. The place has generally been clean. The owner, Amy, has been responsive to our questions... Overall, we had a great stay and we hope to be able to stay here again in the future.

First beach house rental ever!

As the title says, this was my husband's and my first beach house rental. We weren't sure what to expect, but the description, pictures and good reviews didn't lie! The ocean is still warm this time of year, and the summer crowds are gone. The first night, we opened the window to the sound of the surf and knew it would be a very relaxing vacation. We spent our time sunning, night beachwalking during a moonlit week, biking the entire island and one morning, kayaking the sound. Plus checking out restaurants-a big plus in the fall, no waiting! Our two dogs also had a great time surfing the waves. Amy, the owner, was very helpful and pleasant. I'd recommend this rental to anyone and would definitely return.

Veterans of Topsail

We have been to topsail on many occasions. We specifically enjoy North Topsail Beach. The fact that the town is very dog friendly is why we continue to vacation here. Renting from Amy was very easy. The house was perfect and very clean. As football fans we appreciated the NFL ticket and since we had a lot of rain we enjoyed the premium channels and DVR. This house offered us a super large TV, Dog friendly, carpet, multiple bathrooms, ocean front, porch furniture including tower chairs, and noncovered deck. All making for an excellent stay. If you like Chinese Takeout - one of our favorite places is the Red Pepper located over the big bridge on the main road there in Sneads Ferry. We have gone to this restaurant for take -out since we started our trips to Topsail many years ago. It is family owned and operated and we have watched their children grow up from toddlers to teenagers. They have the best Hot and Sour Soup we have ever tasted.

Nice duplex

We enjoyed our stay at sea la vie. We were pleasantly surprised by the well appointed home with carpets throughout, decorated nicely and kitchen supplies abundant for all our cooking needs. Absolutely no sounds from neighbors due to a thick concrete dividing walk except for the joining door in the kitchen with some occasional dogs barking. Home was clean and had no pet odors or other signs of animals which we appreciated. One bed was at bottom floor next to parking space under the stairs which is good for an all night fisherman but otherwise don't think would be enjoyed by most as it's not really a room and has no privacy. The top floor contains the three bedrooms which all are nicely put together. Master is truly wonderful with lots of space and a private patio. AC worked great in the 98 degree heat. The view from both patios was directly out to the ocean and a short few steps down to the sand. Not a bunch of stairs to get down thanks but a fairly steep sand dune joining the stairs to the beach. Beach sand is soft and clean with no trash to be seen and water is Aqua marine color and warm for swimming. Things that needed improvement were ice maker did not work, lights burned out in kids bedroom, Vent fan in master bathroom not working, grill gas container was empty. Overall these were pretty minor and the management were very friendly and responsive to any requests. Bad experience - we heard a knock on the door and were told repeatedly by the housekeeper who showed up at 10:15 "Yall gotta go". Not hello or sorry to bother you or excuse me hello I'm housekeeping. I asked who she was and I was told "you gotta go it's after 10". This was the only rude or poor treatment we received during our stay. Overall - I would recommend this place to a friend. What you get for the price makes sense and good management is the cream on top (just get out before 10 or get a tongue lashing from cleaning crew).

Potentially fabulous undermined by dishonesty

Arrived on August 24 with a forewarning that there was damage to the carpet in 2 upstairs bedrooms. Upon inspection on the master bedroom I discovered water damage, rotting wood, and a smell of mold/mildew under the carpet, within the padding, and on the floor boards. The owners were contacted immediately. I was told there was no way it could be addressed because it was a Sunday so they offered to move us to a property 2 houses down; the caveat was that we would have to leave a day earlier than previously agreed. This offer was reviewed with my house mates, agreed upon, and travel plans were altered. At the time I specifically asked the owner if we would be reimbursed for the day. In return, she asked for my address and told me a check would be in my mailbox by the time I returned to my home. When I returned there was no check. I contacted them twice via text and finally received a phone call from the owner. He stated that I was not owed any refund but agreed to pay if I wrote a favorable review on this site. I viewed this proposition as extortion and told him as much. As we stand I have yet to receive an amount that is equivalent to the cost of a stay at a 4 star hotel in reimbursement. Thus far I have contacted the owners again and VRBO Security, who told me there is not much that they can do. This whole scenario is unfortunate; on one side is a set of owners who refuse to honor a verbal and written agreement and on the other a company who refuses to do more than send a letter. If you value good faith, this is not a couple I would work with. Also, I would take a hard look at VRBO because they seem more interested in protecting the owner over the traveler.

There is plenty of room for your family to spread out chairs and blankets, play corn hole, bocci ball or paddle ball, throw the football or frisbee and play your favorite beach tunes, without disturbing, or being disturbed, by others. Rest easy as the kids play in the surf, protected by a sand bar about 30-40 yards out, or in the tidal pools that may appear late in the day. Enjoy great surf fishing around the posts of a former pier north of the house or surf and boogie board the waves. All in all, a perfect place to relax and enjoy the long days of summer. And by summer, we mean May through October, at least!
