Most importantly I understand your needs as I have been in your shoes in the past. I originally came to Bali in 2012 as a tourist before settling in the island for good.

Bali Comfy Villas initially started as a way to help my friends to find accommodation in Bali and then developed to become what it is today.

My selection process comes from first-hand experience. This means that I have stayed myself in all the villas I have selected and have nurtured close working relationships with the villa managers and/or owners.

From the time I started living in Bali, I have always stayed in Seminyak and then Canggu. Therefore, my villa selection is limited to these two areas which I know best and love with all my heart. I hope you will fall in love with Canggu and Seminyak the way I did when I first moved here.

For all the above reasons I believe I know what you are looking for as well as the little things you should avoid when in Bali and the things you should not miss out on, and will do my best to make your holiday a memorable one!

Tumbak Bayuh is an up and coming area of Canggu that has recently developed significantly. It is 2 minutes from Batu Bolong beach and Old Man’s beach bar.

For families with kids, you will find Parklife literally next to the villa. It is a park and family hub with a huge indoor and outdoor playground, bounce, restaurant and play school (similar to a kindergarten). There are also plenty of activities arranged weekly advertised through its social media.

The famous Nude café recently also opened in Tumbak Bayuh. It is an all-day restaurant where you can enjoy yummy breakfasts and mouth watering dinners. Do try its poke balls and burgers. Sangrias are also to die for.

Joon Canggu, an all-day restaurant with Western and Indonesian food and a pool and playground is worth paying a visit.

And if you decide to head over to Batu Bolong street – just 2 minutes away by bike – the choice is endless. Warung Bu Mi – serving super cheap and ultra yummy Indonesian buffet style food – is a must try.
And so is Deus Ex Machina, a clothing and food concept store. Watch out for its live events. At sunset, head down to the beach and have a Bintang at Old Man’s while listening to some tunes.

For the best fish in town, Luma is the place. The chef here knows how to make fresh fish taste delicious. Mason bar and grill is an expert when it comes to cheese and cured meats. Swallow them down with one of its fancy cocktails. And if you are craving some Italian cuisine, there is no better place for pizza and pasta and burrata than Bottega Italiana.

Last but not least, you cannot claim to know the party scene of Canggu, if you have not visited Black Sand brewery and stayed until the early hours.
