Venice Beachfront Community Aldea Mar, Plages, Shopping et Restauration

Aldea Mar est situé sur environ 11 acres de végétation tropicale luxuriante directement sur le golfe du Mexique. La communauté d'Aldea Mar (Village-by-the-Sea) est idéalement située sur l'île de Venise, près de la ville, mais assez loin pour la solitude et la détente. La propriété Aldea Mar est unique en ce que la plage privée est à seulement quelques pas de la porte d'entrée, la grande piscine chauffée et réfrigérée est encore plus proche et le green surdimensionné est sur place. Un jeu de palets est également disponible sur place ainsi qu'un grand club-house pour les activités programmées et les fêtes privées. Notre unité est dans l'emplacement parfait situé à quelques pas de la plage. Tout est proche mais l'emplacement est très calme. Il y a un accès facile depuis le parking dans l'abri couvert à l'unité ainsi qu'aux nombreuses commodités qu'offre Aldea Mar. Notre unité de deux chambres peut accueillir 6 personnes avec beaucoup d'espace pour divertir les invités. Téléviseurs à écran plat sont dans les chambres et le salon (câble amélioré inclus avec DVR en LR) et le salon décoré avec goût vous donnera une sensation fraîche pour la côte du golfe de Floride. Il y a une cuisine complète avec des appareils améliorés et des comptoirs en granit ainsi qu'une laveuse et une sécheuse empilables pour votre usage. Internet haute vitesse sans fil est fourni. Nous avons des cannes à pêche, des chaises / serviettes de plage, des tamis à dents de requin, des glacières, des jouets de plage, des putters (pour des événements de putting hebdomadaires avec vos voisins) et un ensemble de clubs de golf pour votre usage. Les locations sont mensuelles mais nous pouvons louer pour une période plus courte pendant la basse saison. Notre maison est prête à être louée avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour un séjour agréable. Besoin d'un vélo? Nous en avons aussi (2)!

Lovely condo in Great Venice, Florida location!

Although this was our first stay at Aldea Mar, we have been coming to Venice Island for many years! We enjoyed quiet, friendly neighbors and a well maintained unit that was comfortable and fully equipped. A short walk to Golden Beach, pool and putting green. The owner was very friendly and attentive. We would recommend this beachfront community to friends and relatives.

ESCAPE TO VENICE

We rented this condo for the month of April..............WE LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! We enjoyed it so much we will be back next year. After reading the other reviews there is not too much more to add. Venice is beautiful and our weather was great! The condo is in a perfect location as mentioned, close to anything you need or want. The fantastic beach is a short stroll from the door of the condo and the heated pool is great and soooo close as well. The condo is cute and comfy, everything you would need is there. We loved sitting on the lanai in the morning and the evening. The owners are very helpful, respond quickly to any questions and make you feel welcome. All we can say is we loved our getaway, could not have been better, a perfect 10!

An absolutely stunning property with caring owners and a fantastic oceanside location

We have stayed in this particular unit for three years in a row for a month each season and it suits our family needs perfectly. The 30 second stroll to the beach or the 5 minute bike ride downtown and the quick access to basically anywhere on the island of Venice make this location unbeatable. The bikes provided with the rental are a fantastic benefit along with the great fishing (equipment also provided) right off of the shore makes you never want to leave this wonderful setting. The caring and thoughtful owners have provided absolutely everything you will require so that all you need to focus on bringing is your sunglasses, bathing suit, sunscreen and flip flops. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are clean and comfortable and the spotless meticulously kept unit is completely free of any noise other than perhaps the wonderful ocean breeze in the palms right outside. The Florida / Beach decor in the unit again reminds you continually that you are on vacation so that the hustle of the city, life pressures or work are not constantly on your mind. The provision of all of the detailed amenities makes a peaceful vacation very simple and extremely relaxing. Throughout the years of vacationing here we have come to meet several other couples or families either renting or that own units and have really enjoyed the welcoming, pleasant and friendly atmosphere throughout all of Aldea Mar. The maintenance of the tropical grounds and beautifully heated pool is again only a 30 second walk from the door. Through our many times coming to Venice and now our third year in this unit we have recommended and had friends stay here as well and we all share these similar positive views. We will continue to recommend this unit as each year the owners make small renovations / improvements that make a great vacation even better. Our family, for one, will continue to keep this unit on our number one priority list for all of our return visits to Venice, FLA in the future.

November at Aldea Mar

We rented this condo for the second time and had another excellent month. It is beautifully decorated and fully equipped/ Thanks to new blinds in the living/dining area it is full of light and is a pleasant space for relaxing both indoors and on the lanai. Many upgrades since last year have improved the feel of this spacious unit. Proximity to the beach is a real plus. The pool is excellent for swimming laps. The downtown area is a pleasant 20 minute walk. Aldea Mar is a friendly condo community and the owners of this unit are very accommodating, responsive and helpful. We will return next year.

Was all I wanted it to be !

I would rate it FIVE STAR. Felt at home the minute I opened the door . Spotless and very modern . Pool n Ocean was a vacationers dream . I didn't bring a car and enjoyed the 'just over a mile walk to Publex , Pharmacy and Venice Av. Two beautiful piers a nice 45 walk or 10 min drive .Bravo to home owners . .Highly recommended for retiries ,a perfect place to relax . I Did not want to leave .

Condo in Paradise

We timed our escape from winter perfectly this year. Our friends at home kept their snow shovels and cold weather gear close at hand. We enjoyed daily bike rides and swims in the spacious pool followed by gorgeous sunsets at the beach. Also took day trips to Ringling Brothers in Sarasota and several local wildlife preserves. Our condo was bright, spacious, and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked for all our cooking needs. We are looking forward to returning next winter.

Amazing location

This is our second year back and we have booked for next year. the location is amazing! We love to be on the beach and fish off the beach and this location is perfect for anyone who loves to fish, collect sharks teeth, Walk or run on the beach between the South Jetty and Sharky's you are almost in the middle of 2 different areas of things to do. Close to restaurants and great food, close to Publix our favourite grocery store and just an amazing time and we cannot wait to be back in our home away from home.

Great Condo in a Fantastic Location

We just returned from another amazing month in Venice Florida and staying at our favorite location, Aldea Mar. This particular unit is fantastic in every way, convenient proximity to the beach (30 second walk), great fishing of the shore or if you prefer the North and South Jetty's and Sharky's piers are close, fun and active as well. The unit comes with bikes which are a nice treat to pedal around beach side or explore the great shops downtown. The unit itself is very well appointed and has a great beach feel to it. All you really need to bring is your shorts or bathing suit as nothing else is required as the condo has it all. It is clean, organized and quiet. We have now stayed in the same unit for two consecutive years and have already booked for our 2016 trip. Venice is a wonderful city filled with great character shops, restaurants and golf courses. The beach outside your door goes on for miles and is what I would consider to be the best in the area for finding fossilized shark's teeth.

an excellent month

We spent the month of November in this condo and loved it. Aldea Mar is well situated on the beach (our building was conveniently located the second row back from the beautiful beach and a 30 second walk from the gazebo). The walk into the lovely main street business area takes about 20 minutes as does the walk along the beach to morning and evening yoga classes given at Venice Beach. There are several golf courses within short driving distance. The communal swimming pool is large enough for lap swimming which is not typical of many resort pools. The condo itself is spacious and light, beautifully decorated and very comfortably equipped. Doug and Cathi, who were attentive hosts, have thought of every detail and we wanted for nothing. We met several residents of Aldea Mar through bridge evenings and found them to be friendly and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan to return next year to this lovely condo unit.

Exceeded our Expectations!

What a beautiful condo. Neat, organized and everyone was extremely comfortable in this getaway on the beach. AND WHAT A BEACH! Conveniently located to the quaint little town of Venice you can literally ride your bike to eat and shop. This truly was the total package and would definitely plan another stay!

A Beautiful Location

This is a lovely condominium. It is comfortable, attractive, and very well equipped. The owners have provided everything you could ask for in a rental and much more. They are pleasant to work with and respond immediately to any questions or concerns. Steps from the Gulf and walking distance to Venice Avenue, it is in a perfect location. We are looking forward to a return visit!

Ottawa, Canada Snowbirds

Our stay was great. We have previously stayed in Sarasota, Central Florida and the Atlantic coast of Florida, and found Venice to be a lovely, relaxed place to vacation. The close access to the ocean was what we wanted. Marvelous Sunsets! The beach is very nice (we are very familiar with Siesta Beach), -- your beach could benefit from periodic raking. The Condo complex is well kept. The only negative aspect was the limited Guest parking. In our instance, we were located too close to the garbage collection area. Outside of the Condo control, there is construction of a complex on a neighboring lot, which results in constant, loud noise. Our unit was well equipped, With all the conveniences we needed. The owner responded immediately to minor, maintenance problems. All the residents, and in particular, our neighbors were lovely people, who went out of there way to assist us and make us feel part of the community. Great cycling, and convenient access to all conveniences and Sarasota airport. We had a great stay, and would return again.

More great guests...Alton and Susan were very understanding and easy to work with...we were glad they were able to thaw out from the relentless northern winter weather, even if for only a month. Guest parking continues to be a problem during the season as Venice's population swells from 10,000 to 60,000. Have not personally experienced the trash/garbage issue, but we have had some unseasonably warm winter weather which may have contributed to this. Have contacted the Homeowner's Board to address these issues. Noise was coming from the house being constructed on next lot and I expect this will be resolved by next season. One issue we as owners and landlords have come to understand as part of our rental learning curve regards future rentals. Rentals in Aldea Mar and Venice, in general, are highly sought after, especially during the JAN-MAR timeframe. If a guest likes a unit and is considering renting the following year, it is a best practice to let the owner know as soon as possible of the desire. We intend provided this notification in future to better inform our guests, especially those who have not rented in the area previously.

Location can't be beat and the Condo is Fantastic

We stayed for the month of January in 2014. The complex is in a fantastic location and the amenities are wonderful. The owners were extremely accommodating in every respect. It came with everything you need to enjoy your vacation to the fullest. The fishing rods and bikes were a great touch as well. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone and we have already booked for next year in the same unit.

My wife and I fell in love with the quiet charm of Venice several years ago. We have been renters ourselves in the area and decided to take the plunge and fuel our passion for the beach, scuba, and shark tooth diving. We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do. It's our favorite home away from home and we hope it will become yours.

Golden beach where Aldea Mar is located is the nicest private beach area on the island of Venice. The property gives you that secluded island/beach feel while being only minutes away to downtown and other amenities in the area.
