Casa Arcana began as a shared dream. We’re a couple from the U.S. and Mexico. Aleika grew up in the Yucatán Peninsula, and Greg is an artist. We were both drawn to Mérida for its color, creativity, and deep sense of place. Aleika is an interior designer, and together we slowly shaped this home by hand, piece by piece, imagining the kind of place we ourselves would want to arrive at after a long journey.

Outside, a large private pool becomes the heart of the home...perfect for long swims, afternoon lounging, or quiet evenings. The poolhouse adds an extra layer of magic, with a simple upper deck ideal for yoga, meditation, or watching the sky change colors.
Sustainability is woven in quietly, from local plants to a biodigester system that protects Mérida’s groundwater. The result is a home that feels boutique but unpretentious, artistic yet deeply comfortable. It's a home designed to you to linger, exhale, explore, and truly enjoy where you are.
