Welcome To Big Bama Beach House! A Great Getaway.

Big Bama Beach House is a spacious getaway in West Beach, Gulf Shores, perfect for families. Nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac on Little Lagoon, it features a pool, fishing pier, and covered dock for stunning sunsets. With over 3,000 sq. ft., this 5-bedroom home sleeps 14 and includes two Primary Suites, a family suite, and a fun crow’s nest for kids. Enjoy modern updates, a stocked kitchen, BBQ grill, and top-notch amenities. Relax, unwind, and make unforgettable beachside memories!

This 5-bedroom house is situated in a family-friendly area of West Beach, Gulf Shores. It’s the best of both worlds—close to great restaurants and activities but far from the hustle and bustle. Our cozy cul-de-sac on Little Lagoon has just 11 homes, a pool, and a fishing pier. The covered pier is perfect for watching sunsets and spotting wildlife.

With over 3,000 square feet across three floors, there’s room for everyone to spread out. The house is equipped with large flat-screen TVs (note: TVs are streaming only, no cable), free Wi-Fi, a PlayStation 4 in the family suite, and a kitchen stocked with everything you need to prepare meals. Fire up the charcoal grill for a backyard BBQ and make the most of your stay.

Big Bama has five bedrooms and sleeps up to 14 guests. Two dreamy Primary Suites—one on the main floor and one upstairs—each have a king bed, private bath, deck, and TV. The main floor suite even features a spa-like bathroom with an oversized shower, a freestanding tub, and gorgeous tile work.

Upstairs, there’s another Primary Suite with a king bed and private bath, a family suite with a king bed and two twin beds, and a spacious bedroom with a king bed. The third floor is a fun crow’s nest with two twin beds—perfect for teens or kids looking for their own hangout space.

Whether you’re lounging by the pool, casting a line off the pier, or catching a sunset from the covered dock, Big Bama Beach House is all about relaxing, unwinding, and making memories. It’s everything you need for an unforgettable family vacation—pack your flip-flops and good vibes!

I enjoyed the area surrounding this property. Although the owner accused me of falsely reporting not having hot water upon arrival . The place wasn’t clean enough for my standards . The place also appeared to be used for personal use often. The pictures look significantly better than the actual property. There was also water leaking onto the patio from the home above.

We enjoyed Stephanie's visit to Big Bama. I did not accuse her of reporting of false report of no hot water. I sent a maintenance person the next morning and they reported all was fine with the hot water tank and the guest had used all of the water in the 80 gallon hot water heater and it needed to catch up. This is what I told Stephanie, and it seems she misinterpreted the information. She never reported any issues with housekeeping until after she departed the property, which did not give us any issues to address the problem. The guest wanted to cancel 72 hours before arriving because of a family emergency and they had not purchased trip insurance. I asked her to confirm if she did not have trip insurance, I would still offer a full reimbursement if they needed to cancel. I did not hear back from her. The property has limited personal use, which is an unusual and unsubstantiated claim by the guest. The review by the guest is unwarranted and we would have addressed any issues if reported, just like the call about no hot water.

Excellant Location

Very nice and clean place to stay, I was very surprised how well kept this place was. Nice location. Easy to get to other places from this location. And will definitely stay there again in the future.

Great family vacation

Great house! Lots of room to spread out and very comfortable. We had multiple families staying over the Thanksgiving weekend and had everything we needed. It's just a short walk to the beach and close to all the restaurants and shops. Perfect location.

A little bit of everything

The location is 2 blocks from the beach and there is a community pool just a short walk away. The house was great for 4 different families and the kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay!

The big Bama house was beautiful! The lay out of the home gives you plenty of room with a large family! The location is perfect! You can walk to the ocean without feeling overwhelmed! Absolutely would come back!

BIG GREAT TIME AT -'LUCY BIG BAMA BEACH HOUSE'

Our family reunion was a complete success due to the fact we stayed at the wonderful 'LUCY- BIG BAMA BEACH HOUSE'. The house was pristine clean, fully stocked, comfortable and family friendly....and perfectly located to the area. We plan to return again and again.

Pretty blue house on the bay

Well furnished. Nicely decorated, clean met all expectations and more. Short walk to the beach short walk to pool and dock. No water view but very close to both bodies of water. Would stay here again and would recommend to others.

Beautiful Home

Beautiful house! Very roomy and comfortable. Loved sitting on the upper deck drinking our coffee in the mornings. A short walk to the beach, will equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. What more could you ask for?

5 Star Stay

We enjoyed our stay at the beach house so much. Great location, very clean and family-friendly. We would definitely rent again if going to Gulf Shores. Here's a list of some of the places we visited that we enjoyed. The Hangout, not great food, but very entertaining for the kids. Lulu's was a lot of fun for the kids, they loved the arcade. Adventure Island was a blast, highly recommended.

Beautiful home!

We had a wonderful time in Gulf Shores. The house is beautiful and well maintained. The walk to the beach isn’t bad at all. The guys would drive to drop off the beach chairs and umbrellas but the rest of us would walk! Great trip!

We also love walking around all the little neighborhood streets looking at all the beach houses. We are very excited to see the golfcart paths being put in by the city of Gulf Shores. Beautiful Home!!!
