We had a wonderful stay at the red cedar cabin! The cabin was clean and furnished with everything we needed for a family of 5 on vacation. The owners were SO kind and helpful to us. They fulfilled every request we had, gave us excellent recommendations for the area and were a delight to visit with as well. Our kids made good use of the pool and we all enjoyed watching and petting the horses and friendly dogs on the property. The wrap around porch was a favorite sitting spot to enjoy the peace and beauty of the area. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay! Thanks to Ramona and Gerry, Annie and Ruby for making this a vacation to fondly remember!
The peace of the country with the convenience of the city
The property is beautiful and the cabin is gorgeous. There is nothing like sipping coffee on the porch while watching the horses in the paddock.
Close to all of the conveniences of Mesquite but tucked just far enough away that you get that feeling of being in the country.
I will stay here again should I ever find myself in Texas once more.
I have used Vacation Rentals from this site for years, this one defiantly tops them all! The house and property were perfectly maintatined, clean, better than discribed. We were in the Dallas area visiting family for the week. It was a perfect location for visiting all of them, shopping, the science museum, and restaurants. The house was immaculate! And we loved the little extras, from ground coffee waiting for our first morning there to pool toys for the kids. The pool was amazing and clean! And we loved seeing the horses and Annie (dog) on a daily basis. There was great communication about what to expect upon arrival and the owners were friendly and helpful! We are are already planning our next stay! Thank you for such a wonderful vacation and memories!
Gerry and Ramona have been married for 40 years and have 3 grown sons and 8 grandchildren. We love to spend time at home and spend time improving our property. We love it when our guests come and are able to relax and enjoy the property while they watch the horses graze or the duck family frolic in the pond.
