A Fantastic Stay

Absolutely loved Arthaus! It is meticulously maintained and beautifully appointed, the sauna and cold plunge are amazing amenities, and the view is to die for. I will definitely revisit!

A wonderful retreat from the city

ArtHaus was just the vacation spot we needed for our family of 5! With 3 teenagers, there was plenty of space for both family time and teen hangout space on the lower level with their own den. The view was extraordinary and we loved having morning yoga sessions with all of the mats provided. Kevin & Amanda were very responsive and quick to reply to all of our inquiries. We all loved this property and would love to visit again in the future!

The Perfect Retreat

We spent 3 nights here, 4 people total. The house could easily fit 3 couples. The house was perfectly appointed for a relaxing getaway. 10-15 minutes from nearby markets, but otherwise isolated and relaxing. The sauna, cold plunge and hot tub are excellent perks. The whole house is not only clean and new, its well appointed with nearly everything you would want or need for a few days or a week away. Highly recommend!

10/10 Would Recommend ArtHaus!

ArtHaus is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The home is gorgeous and well-furnished, with thoughtful amenities and luxuries. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals. If you're a yoga lover, yoga on the deck under the sun felt magical. Even when it rained, we were so comfortable indoors that it never felt like a burden. Amanda and Kevin were exceptionally prompt to reply to any questions throughout the whole booking process, making me feel completely supported. Whenever I book a house I'm always a little worried I'm being real estate catfished, but I'm happy to say that wasn't the case here. We cannot wait to return!

Arthaus

Our stay at ArtHaus was nothing short of magical! This modern mountaintop gem offers jaw-dropping 180-degree views that make every sunrise and sunset unforgettable. The house is beautifully designed with nature-inspired artwork throughout, creating a serene, spa-like atmosphere that truly lives up to the “Nature Spa” name. We loved soaking in the hot tub under the stars, unwinding in the spacious, luxurious interiors, and feeling completely secluded on the private wooded acres, yet it’s conveniently located for exploring the Lost River area. Everything was spotless, thoughtfully stocked, and the host was incredibly responsive with great recommendations. Perfect for a relaxing getaway with family or friends. We can’t wait to return, highly recommend!

Amazing hosts!!

From start to finish, our stay at Roots and Realms Arthaus in Lost City was nothing short of spectacular. The hosts were truly amazing—friendly, responsive, and attentive from the very first inquiry all the way through post-trip communication. The cabin itself is a masterpiece. The mountain views are breathtaking, and every corner of the property is impeccably maintained. Inside and out, the space feels both luxurious and welcoming. The amenities are absolutely next-level—we loved relaxing in the hot tub, rejuvenating in the sauna, and braving the cold plunge. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, making our stay feel effortless and indulgent. I cannot say enough good things about this property. It’s rare to find a place that exceeds every expectation, and Roots and Realms Arthaus did exactly that. If I could rate it 6 out of 5, I absolutely would. We can’t wait to return!

Beautiful, like something straight out of a magazine cover, but nowhere near as comfortable.

We were truly impressed by the beautiful setting of the house, the absolutely breathtaking views, and especially by the scenery during this foliage season. Yesterday, the landscapes looked like something straight out of traditional Chinese miniature paintings, with mist settling in the mountain valley. We simply couldn't tear ourselves away from the view. As for the house itself, we particularly loved the beds, the bed linen, the truly effective blackout in the bedrooms, the wonderful heated smart toilet in the master bathroom, and, of course, the unique and very tasteful design. However, I cannot help mentioning a few things that unfortunately significantly detracted from our stay. The complete lack of sound insulation, both between floors and between adjoining spaces, meant virtually no privacy at all. The water pressure was extremely poor in all the showers. The heater was not working, and it was also quite unclear how the fireplace was supposed to operate. So, while the house certainly aspires to a luxury standard, there were simply too many sources of discomfort for the overall experience to truly live up to that promise.
