It was the cutest little place with everything I needed to make it a pleasant stay. And my dog enjoyed the accommodations as well. Close to everything important; beach, food and fun.

All amenities worked as they should, the water pressure for the indoor and outdoor showers were amazing. The distance between food, the beach, and the sound was perfect. Overall It was a great and comfortable stay for us and our dogs.

Great Little Spot For a Quick Get-Away

The cottage is clean and well appointed. My partner and I booked this for a long weekend getaway and it met all our needs. I would definitely rent this cottage again for a future trip.

Perfect for young couple or small family!

We stayed here as a family of three for a long weekend and it was perfect. The house had all you need for a small beach town. The bed in the master is low to the ground which was fine for us but may not be suitable for everybody. The location is just a few short minutes from several of the beach ramps which gives easy access for fishing. There is also a clean up station at the house to cut up and clean your catch from the day which was an awesome addition. We would stay here again!

We thought this little house was adorable and full of character. I wish there would have been some history written somewhere on this house that I could read because I would be interested in knowing it, being so old. The bed was comfortable, plenty of space for what we needed it for, air and heat worked great. Overall I was happy staying here.

Quaint and perfect!

This little cottage was everything we needed! Such a sweet little place right on Highway 12; less than 10 minutes from the Cape Hatteras lighthouse and beach access, an excellent location for a weekend getaway in the beautiful Outer Banks. Clean, adorable interior, responsive property management, and lots of natural light inside— as an added bonus! Just the perfect little place to relax and kick your feet up. We will be returning!

Went on a fishing trip for a week. There were 5 of us and had plenty of room. Fish cleaning table was nice to have at the house. House had everything we needed and we were close to the point. We booked again for our next fishing trip.

Perfect beach cottage for our family! Super short distance from the beach and easy walk to the sound side. Very very clean and it had many cute little touches like a fish cleaning station, an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach, a full kitchen, and they had games for us all to play on the rainy days. There were some nice restaurants and bars near by as well. The location was actually really convenient especially being that far down on the island. Overall I’d definitely recommend this cute little house to my friends/family and will definitely be coming back!

It's not bad for a few days but I'm not sure I could stay a week. The bed is so low that it hurts trying to get out of it at my age.very old and small bath also. There is no dishwasher. It's bare bones if you can handle that then It's a decent cottage.

Little Blue Beach Bungalow

In an area of huge vacation homes, this is quaint and affordable. For off-season it is exactly what you need. Basic, with the quirks that come from a nearly 100 year old home. No, it’s not the Hilton. The king bed is low to the ground and ceilings/floors uneven. But it is charming with coastal touches. For small groups or couples, “little blue” is perfect. Would love to know more of the home’s history!!!

There was not much to love. The house was not in good shape. The front door has to be hit hard to open or close. Knob missing on large drawer in kitchen. The yard was overgrown (but finally got cleaned up the day before we left).
