Come stay at this captivating dog-friendly retreat and take advantage of your own private boardwalk leading right to the beach and a screened porch to enjoy the sights and sounds of the ocean while sipping on your morning coffee. How much better can it get? This property has a unique layout that is perfect for two families or one big family with kids! The upper level is the main living area, with that incredible screened porch and a seating group coordinated in the colors of the sun and sky. Or maybe just sit around and talk about vacation adventures. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your favorite meals and snacks, including a full suite of appliances, plenty of cabinets, and lots of counter space for food prep. A breakfast bar seats two, while the formal dining table comfortably accommodates five. Better yet, if you really want to feel like you are at the beach, enjoy your meal alfresco at the dining table on the porch. Two bedrooms share a full hall bath with a tub/shower. As you descend the stairs, you will find yourself in the second large living area, complete with a sleeper sofa. The kids will love having their own private space! The big table is perfect for board or card games and the kitchenette boasts a double sink and cabinets. The washer/dryer is also located here. In addition, there are two bedrooms. The shared full bath features a stand-alone shower. Other amenities include an outdoor shower. Come down to Surf City and have a blast with the whole gang at this inviting home!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house was so clean and welcoming, and the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The AC kept us perfectly comfortable, and the enclosed porch was such a cozy spot to relax. The location couldn’t have been better, so close to everything! We felt completely at home here and can’t wait to come back.

Perfect location

House was very clean and had everything we needed. Very convenient, and you could not beat the views or location. The screened in porch was our favorite spot. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Trip!

This home provided everything needed to make a wonderful vacation for you and your family. The home was clean, kitchen stocked (we cooked) and plenty of comfortable seating. The best part, of course, was the beautiful ocean view from the living room windows, screened in porch or spacious deck. We most definitely will book this home again. We appreciated that this beach home was pet friendly (as dogs are family, too!). The home was clean, beds were comfortable, and the enclosed porch was wonderful to still take in the scenes of the ocean. The views were great and the dune walkway to the beach was tolerable! We saw dolphins in the ocean which was a highlight. It’s a short drive to the center of town, and a safe walk also. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect for a large or small group

Great house! Loved the following features:- Bedding and towels were included- The screened-in porch was excellent for those of us who need shade- The porch and deck were each gated, perfext for kids and dogs- Quick walk down to the shore- Lots of puzzles, games, and books- The starter toilet paper, trash bags, cleaner, etc. Were so helpful AND the leftover items from previous renters (coffee filters, seasonig, etc.)

We'll definitely rent this one again!

The house was more spacious than we anticipated. Worked perfectly for our family because of the two living areas, and the second refrigerator downstairs was a great surprise. The private boardwalk has been changed to just steps down into the sand and then you walk up and over the ever changing dune. There are two gates on the deck, one allowing access to the steps to the driveway, and the other allowing access to the beach.

Multi generational family beach week

Very nice older beach cottage, quaint and comfortable with some nice updates. The kitchen was large and well stocked for family cooking and meals. The minimal stairs and excellent access to the beach was perfect for both a 6 year old and a 77 year old and two family dogs. The large deck and screened porch meant lots of outdoor time looking at the ocean and walking the beach. I would definitely stay here again. The Teflon cookware could use replacing and the downstairs shower drain could use some de-clogging. Overall very pleased. Thank you for sharing Sea-esta with us.

Lovely comfortable home with beautiful porch with ocean view/access. Would like to see more comfortable seating on porch instead of picnic table. Bathrooms need to be updated including showers and toilets. The shower rod in main bath was not fixed and nearly fell a couple times. Otherwise nicely appointed,

Great dog friendly home

Screened porch was great. Bedrooms and kitchen were spacious and well stocked. Sofa was comfy. Place was very clean considering dog friendly. Downstairs had 1 tiny very old window ac that even in May could not keep up. Box fans in the bedrooms but the room was still very stuffy especially at night with the door shut. No vents or ac units in bedrooms downstairs so if you closed the door it was very warm. Would stay again but not in July or August due to lack of ventilation downstairs.

Thank you, Sandra, for your thoughtful review. We’re so glad you enjoyed the screened porch, spacious kitchen, and bedrooms, and the overall cleanliness. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the downstairs ventilation and wanted to share that both bedrooms do have working A/C vents. However, it was recently discovered that one had been closed at some point. That vent is now open, which should significantly improve airflow and comfort moving forward. We hope to have the pleasure of hosting you again in the future!
