The shopping, restaurants, and amenities of Surf City are around two miles away.

At home, enjoy sunny mornings with coffee and starry nights with cocktails on your large front deck, complete with a porch swing. Inside, you'll find vibrant, cheerful decor and an open floor plan ideal for spending time with loved ones. The sleek, modern kitchen features a full suite of stainless steel appliances and all the cookware you need to whip up favorite recipes, and there's room for everyone at mealtime around the adjacent dining table. Even better, step outside to your fully screened sunroom and dine alfresco with a view of the fully enclosed yard while the ceiling fan keeps you cool or the portable heater keeps it cozy.

After a day on the sand, bask in the central AC while the washer/dryer make quick work of the day's laundry. Cozy and comfortable house

We enjoyed our stay and would love to stay here again. The kitchen is very nice and well stocked with everything you need. The house had plenty of towels and sheets and all the linens that we needed. Very nice home and yard had lots of space for our dog.

Quiet beach retreat

Loved this rental, felt like home away from home. Great area, fenced yard is great, decor and amenities were wonderful. Short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Beach Home

We were four seniors and loved that this was a one level house. The house was beautiful and had everything you could possibly want in a rental. Everything in the house was top quality. I would highly recommend this house and would stay again in the future if I am ever in the Surf City area.

Charming Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed this property inside and out. Our pet loved the yard and outdoor space. The kitchen was perfect size for us to prepare meals. The location to the beach is very convenient and close to restaurants and stores. Overall, great place!

Stellar once again

We love this place. Morning coffee in the screened in porch with our dogs, easy walks to the beach, comfy couches for tv/movies and plenty of kitchen amenities to cook for everyone. Start to finish, this place is great. We always end up booking our next visit before we even leave.

We loved this property! Loved everything about it. The house is bright, open and has beautiful decor. Very peaceful location .The fenced yard is a rare find! Very short walk to beach access. Can't wait to go back next summer!

Home away from hone

I love this place. This is my second time this summer. It is a short five minute walk to the beach. The place has all the items needed for a short or long stay. It is convenient to everthing. Lots of great restaurants! I look forward to booking again next year!

Family vacation

The house was wonderful, everything was comfortable. Close enough to the beach to walk even with all the stuff you have to bring for the kids. We hated leaving! Our only issue was the screen door was broken when we arrived and even after contacting Vacasa, no one came to fix it so we didn’t utilize the porch while we were there because bugs could still get in.

Visiting my Marine

We stayed for a week use our summer family vacation to visit our son that is stationed in Camp Lejune. He house size was perfect we are a family of four. My Marine had his girlfriend visiting and my youngest son brought a friend . The kitchen was perfect size with the open spaces it bigger than you can appreciate in the photos. It was so hot we hardly used the porch, but great central air conditioner . The best beach just two blocks from the public access it was beautiful . We won’t hesitate to rent this again if we decide to go there next summer. Thank you

Carolina Cottage

Cozy, coastal, light and airy beach cottage! My family, my sister and niece really enjoyed our beach trip to the Carolina Cottage near the Surf City canals. From the screened in porch to the beach was ONLY a 2 block walk! It was perfect! We were able to enjoy the sunrise, beautiful weather all week, the sunsets and of course we were able to see the first turtle release of the 2023 season as well as see multiple turtle nests. We prepared several meals at the house, which was stocked with cooking supplies/utensils that we could cook with. Plenty of spacious kitchen cabinets and countertop/ prep area as well as being well lit! There was plenty of seating areas for everyone to be together or alone, whatever their choice was. Thank you for allowing us to stay in a cottage away from home.

Be Careful not to Leave Anything

Beware that this isn’t a VRBO owner to guest rental if that’s what you are looking for. The property is managed by a global vacation property management company. The overall stay was great however beware of the host company’s policy for item left behind which is as follows: - Cleaning service removes items left behind from the property. - no on notifies you - you pay $25 plus tax to perform a search for your item in addition to any shipping costs. - if you don’t pay within two weeks then they own your items.

Carolina Cottage in Topsail

We love this place! So many things to mention. The beds were made when we arrived. How wonderful to not make beds on your 1st day of vacation after a long drive. The towels and sheets supplied were fluffy, not scratchy as places before. Plenty provided. A clean and open setup. So much storage spaces in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen had all the amenities and a empty pantry so we could store our things and not have it all over the counters. I have some mobility issues. The lack of large stairing to the deck / home made my issue non existent. Fenced yard for our dogs! FINALY we had an issue with the door keypad. Our call was quickly responded to. Trying to correct over the phone was not working so someone was there in 30 minutes. They did fix the issue but gave us keys just in case.

Dog friendly house

This house was great for our one senior dog and our 2 year old that was adopted during the pandemic...so he does not do well away from his people. House itself was great, spacious, well stocked kitchen. The highlight is the screened porch where we probably spent 75% of our waking hours that were not on beach. Straight shot to public beach access and beach was not busy during weekdays. The house was not as clean at check in as some others we have stayed in, but local management did reach out monday and offer to send cleaning crew back out....we declined because that was just not worth it after we had cleaned up and moved all our stuff in. Had a few maintenance issues that they sent people out for, which was inconvenient because we felt someone should stay with dogs if strangers would be coming in and out. But it is to be expected....locals work M-F and difficult to nail down an appt time through vacasa. We understood. Overall, great house for our needs.
