Tranquility awaits you and your loved ones as you walk along the sandy beach, paddleboard on the water, or collect shells while the sun sets. Tour the area and discover local attractions like Oceanana Pier, Fort Macon State Park, North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores, Island Express Ferry Service, and Lost Treasure Golf & Raceway, all within a nine-mile radius.

Relax with ease with a secure gate on the porch to keep kids and pups at bay. Play board games while sipping a beverage from the drink fridge and create a fun and unforgettable atmosphere.

Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a cozy atmosphere throughout the well-appointed living area. Amazing stay!

Amazing stay! Our 2nd time staying at this residence. We have small children and pets and it is the best. We had a few hiccups with internet and the grill but other than that we had the absolute best week!

This property was beautiful and was the perfect place to stay for our weekend getaway in Atlantic Beach. The house is beautiful and was absolutely spotless upon arrival. The location is amazing as well. Everything we did during our stay was under 15 minutes away! And you can’t beat being that close to the beach.

Fantastic Location

This home is situated a very close walk to the ocean, and a short drive to anything you might need - restaurants, shopping, groceries, the park/splashpad for kids, NC Aquarium, Beaufort, Fort Macon. The home is kid-friendly and comfortable. It was perfect for our needs with 2 toddlers, and we hope to visit again.

Perfect Spot!

Loved this rental and how close it was to the beach. It was very clean and well maintained. It has everything you would need for a great stay, We loved how quiet the beach was although we were staying off season. The only complaint would be that the outdoor shower was not turned on yet (we assume due to the time of year), so we had to use the hose to rinse off. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious and updated house a couple blocks from the beach. The upstairs deck had a gate which was great for kids and dogs. Plenty of amenities for kids as well. Would definitely come back / recommend to others.

Lovely Place

The Sandy Step is a beautifully decorated coastal home, I love all of the Lilly Pulitzer and shore decor. The kitchen is well stocked, just have to look in the abundance of cabinets and pantry to find specialty platters, etc. The bathrooms are great and the separate "play room" downstairs for the kiddos is perfect. Because the house is elevated, the concrete patio underneath is great for shade and the kid/pet gate at the top of the stairs on the back deck is perfect. Family friendly and close to everything!

Suggestions

Good stay and neighbors, beautiful home. Suggestions on cleaning would be to make sure the cleaners are getting the shower curtains because it had mold at the bottom. I’d do 1 more tv at least in the main bedroom, and have someone spray for the water roaches. Other than those we enjoyed our stay and look forward to bookjng again.
