WaterPointe II is the perfect beach retreat in Windy Hill - this nicely renovated condo has new laminate flooring (no carpet in this unit), and updated bathrooms! This beautiful 3 Bedroom 2 Bath condo is vacation ready. More improvements include kitchen cabinetry, and stylish touches, such as bedding and custom draperies, etc. You will be wonderfully surprised at how bright this open concept space is. Because this is an end unit, 9th floor, the ocean views continue in every direction from the kitchen, living room and main bedroom. This complex has both indoor and outdoor pools, and a great hot tub for soaking.

The oceanfront living room features a large flat screen TV, new sofa (pull-out for extra bedding) and occasional chairs, as well as, a new dining set with bright side windows and access to the private balcony. The fully appointed kitchen features a refrigerator, self-cleaning oven with radiant cook top, built in microwave and dishwasher, as well as a new front-loader washer and dryer. The kitchen essentials include a toaster, coffee maker (both Keurig and regular), pots, pans, silverware, dinner ware, flatware, and bake ware. There's an additional built-in cabinetry station for extra storage and meal prep space. All the things your family needs for a home-away-from-home vacation!

Enjoy the oceanfront main bedroom, complete with a king size bed and sliding glass door access to the private balcony. The main bedroom is well appointed with heavy custom draperies to sleep in, a king bed, full length dresser and mirror, nightstands, lamps, and large flat screen TV. The main bath is newly remodeled with a full surround tile shower, a built in bench and glass sliding doors.

One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has 2 twin beds. Fresh and cozy new bedding. There are flat screen TVs wall-mounted in each bedroom!! These bedrooms share the newly remodeled hall bath w/ tile shower surround and glass sliding doors.

NOTE: This property has an exterior Ring camera with active video and audio at the front door. By choosing to reserve this rental property, guest gives consent to being monitored. No carts, luggage racks, beach wagons, roll away beds are allowed inside the condo at any time.

Beautiful oceanfront condo

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful, clean, updated condo.The views from the balconies and side windows of this end unit are amazing. We watched shrimp boats go by and saw dolphins and all kinds of sea birds, including my favorites- the pelicans. Be sure to bring your binoculars. The kitchen is fully stocked. We enjoyed the big TV with sound bar in the family room. The linens were crisp and clean, and we were very comfortable here. You’ll have everything you need in this elevator building. We used the heated indoor pool and hot tub. It was great to be able to swim in November. It was warm enough to go out and walk on the beach and sit on the beach and enjoy the sunny days. I highly recommend this condo.

Small, but worked out just fine

We love this area of North Myrtle Beach! The condo itself was a little smaller than we were used to (very small bathrooms, living room/dining room, tiny washer/dryer, small balcony because it is kind of split in the middle due to the footprint of the building) - and I blame myself, as I must have missed the square footage information when booking), but it served its purpose and worked out just fine. Still giving it five stars, just want others to know what to expect. Very clean and nicely decorated! The indoor pool was a huge plus to get our girls out of the sun after hanging out at the beach. The building is next to some smaller homes, which made for a less crowded beach. Very close to Barefoot landing, which is very convenient. Elevators were very efficient and the grounds were kept very clean. We would return to this building in the future, as long as we don’t add any extra people (we had 3 adults and two young girls). Thank you for another great beach vacation!

The new bedding in the primary bedroom is beautiful, a nice update from our last stay here. The new raised bed frames allow us to store our luggage under the bed and out of the way, which is a nice addition. The balcony guest closet has some beach chairs and toys for the lids; what a great addition. We did make sure to rinse them off as requested. Thanks again for another great stay :)

Condo experience

The condo was clean. There were a few stains on the couch. The master bedroom bed mattress was very bad for sleeping. The view was great! It would have made our experience better if they had beach chairs available we were never able to rent any they were always gone. The check in process was hectic because you had to go pick up a key in previous stays we just went to condo/rental. I would rate overall experience ok only because of bed and unable to actually sit at the beach and checkin process. The condo was clean and roomy the upgrades were nice.

Each unit was very nice, this one included. Plenty of room for our family, balcony overlooks ocean, and from the 9th floor it is great. My son was concerned about the height with his small children (ages 4 and 2) but the balcony was secure. Furnishings were very nice. Washer and dryer in kitchen area is very convenient.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE, SURPRISE !

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: ODVR is always efficient and extremely helpful. We have loved our experience in dealing with them. Unfortunately our recent visit left us frustrated, aggravated and disappointed. We were excited to be able to return to WaterPointe II for the third time this year. Our first two stays could not have been more beautiful. We loved every minute. Units 201 and 304 were perfection! Immediately when we walked into our most recent unit some of the windrow blinds were scattered across the floor and continued to fall throughout the week. We put them up and they would stay for a short period and fall again. FRUSTRATING!!!!! Disappointment soon set in when it was communicated to us that our balcony would be off limits for the duration of our stay. We have always enjoyed the balcony for morning coffee, picturesque sunrises, sunsets and fresh air at night along with starry displays. Unbelievable that was taken from us! Aggravation was prompted by frequent visits (4 different times)from repair men to paint the balcony that needed to dry and more coats applied. Two men sat down inside as two worked on the balcony. We never understood why it took four men - two working and two talking and telling us they were doing as told. "They had nothing to do with our unhappiness!" When we booked the unit - Our options for the week were communicated and when we realized 901 was and end unit we chose it because they would be less obstructed views. Well we were tremendously surprised to find out we could NOT use the balcony!!!!! I do not believe ODVR knew about this work when we booked the unit since I clearly communicated our love for early morning coffee on the balcony etc. Thanks ODVR for letting us know about the exterminator's visit. We knew what to expect. The balcony fiasco was quite the surprise!!!! We look forward to booking with ODVR again. While the overall stay was somewhat disappointing, the location is great. This unit could use some upgrades.
