Situé dans une rue calme juste à côté de Morningside Rd, le quartier est desservi par de nombreux bus desservant fréquemment le centre-ville, Princes Street et Royal Mile en 10 minutes ou la vieille ville en 15 minutes. Marchez vers de superbes cafés, d’excellents pubs, des supermarchés et de charmants petits magasins individuels. L'appartement est entretenu et géré par les propriétaires. Nous fournissons des serviettes épaisses, du linge de lit en coton égyptien à 100% et un plateau de bienvenue pour bien commencer. Un quartier populaire et intéressant de la ville pour se détendre après une journée de visites.
La nouvelle cuisine a une plaque à induction et un four, un lave-vaisselle, un four micro-ondes, un lave-linge, un réfrigérateur et un congélateur. Très bien approvisionné en vaisselle, couverts, casseroles, couteaux de cuisine et ustensiles neufs pour quatre personnes.
La salle de bain a une nouvelle suite blanche de bain, douche, lavabo et WC. Sélection de livres, informations touristiques, DVD, CD et jeux. Wi-Fi gratuit à fibre optique ultra-rapide.

Nous avons équipé l'appartement spécialement pour la restauration de tout ce que nous pourrions imaginer pour rendre votre séjour confortable et agréable. Nous le gérons nous-mêmes et accordons un soin particulier au nettoyage, à la maintenance et à la mise à jour de toutes les installations, informations et équipements. Nous avons un B & B bien établi cinq étoiles d'or (Scottish Tourist Board) à Édimbourg, Violet Bank House, et avons plusieurs récompenses pour les normes élevées. Nous accordons le même soin et la même attention aux détails pour cet appartement et nos invités.

Il y a aussi un nombre limité de places de stationnement disponibles toute la journée au Merlin Roadhouse sur Morningside Road. Le tarif est de 10 £ par jour et le stationnement dans la rue de Clinton Road pour 4 £ par jour aux heures fixes. Les deux endroits sont à seulement 2 minutes à pied de l'appartement.

Great Stay in Morningside

Great flat just outside downtown Edinburgh. Very convenient to the central city via the bus which is within walking distance. Quiet neighborhood with everything you could need also within walking distance. Steven was a great host. Would certainly look at renting again if we were back in Edinburgh.

Lovely place to stay

After a warm welcome by Reta, we (parents & 2 teenage girls) had a lovely stay in this cosy, well-equipped and clean appartment. It is an ideal place to relax after a visit to the busy center of Edinburgh. It is situated just outside the center in a very safe and quiet area. There are plenty of small shops, pubs and restaurants in the neighbourhood and a large supermarket (Waitrose) around the corner with fresh bread in the morning. Visiting the center of Edinburgh can easily be done by bus (busstop is a 5 minutes walk away, waiting time at most 10 minutes). In short: great place to stay!

A wonderful aprtment in lovely Morningside

We love Morningside and with the efficient and frequent city buses, all of Edinburgh is virtually at your doorstep. Also, it is so convenient to have the Waitrose grocery store just a block away and, of course, Canny Man's pub nearby. John, Reta and Steven are all very friendly and accommodating and helpful as landlords. There was a small building problem we merely mentioned during our stay and they were right on top of it! This is a really nice apartment with comfortable accommodations - and being on the ground floor is a bonus. Highly recommended!

Thank you for your kind posting. We are glad that we were able to solve the bath problem right away and thank you for tellings us. We would not have picked it up just when we were there to clean. We love the Morningside area too, and would love to welcome you back. Christmas festivities are well underway in Edinburgh with the |German Market, two icerinks etc. Saw a heart warming thing yesterday. A girl on the ice was pushing a mentally handicapped wheelchair user along the ice in front of her. He was ecstatic with joy. Brilliant to see.

A very neat, clean place. Also very comfortable, and close to the city Centre.

We will be back in a few days to spend six more days here. It is a wonderful apartment, and a great area. If we are ever back in Scotland, this is where we will stay. We do have one suggestion: we were ten minutes late and received a parking ticket. The parking authority said the owners could apply for a certain number of free parking spots per year. We are not sure what would be involved, but it would save a lot of hassle. Other than that minor problem, this is a great place to stay. Thank you. Vern and Sheila. John and Pat

Thank you for your lovely review folks. What a pity your stay was marred by the parking fine. If we were residents in the area we would have those passes, but because we are considered to be a business, i.e. providing guest accommodation, we do not have access to the passes the parking attendant was telling you about. In the apartment there is a list of cheaper parking and longer stay parking in the area, and outside the apartment is free for Saturday and Sunday - I wish we could do more. Parking fines are so annoying and once the ticket is produced, you have to appeal and have good reason not to pay.

Splendid apartment

A modern and spacious apartment which is very well appointed. Large comfortable beds in both bedrooms. Felt like home from home. We were welcomed by the owner, who showed us around and helped with our queries. Minutes from local amenities including the bus stop for transport into the city centre. Just what we wanted for a week in Edinburgh

The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The owners gave us a warm welcome and made sure we understood how everything worked. It was convenient for shops, restaurants and buses and we had a really good week. The neighbours were friendly too!

Brilliant

We had a lovely stay in morningside, could not fault the apartment or the owners. We were made very welcome ,would not hesitate to go again. Try Nonna,s Italian restaurant ,pure bliss. The Canny Man pub also worth a visit, very quirky.

Perfect base for exploring Edinburgh

A lot of thought has gone into making this apartment the perfect place for a holiday in Edinburgh, from the high quality furnishings and decor, to the well-equipped kitchen and the thoughtful and informative information folder. The flat is in the ideal location; Morningside is an individual and distinctive neighbourhood, with lots of interesting independent shops, restaurants and bars. It's a leisurely walk into town, or a short inexpensive cab ride. There are also frequent buses along the main road. It's much better value, more comfortable and flexible than a hotel, and everything you need is a very short walk away. We really enjoyed spending a weekend here, and as regular visitors to Edinburgh, we are planning to return in the not-too-distant future.

Fringe Accomodation

Just a quick email to say what a treat it was to stay in your accomodation in Morningside. Great location near bus route, shops etc. The property was very inviting, clean and furnished to the highest standard. We particularly liked the quality of the sheets and towels! You have thought of lots of little things that make it a real home from home. John was so helpful on arrival even though we were later than planned - sorry again. We look forward to our next visit.

Fantastic apartment and location

One of the best apartments we have stayed in for a long time.very clean and of a very high standard. ideal location for exploring the city with buses very frequent and only takes 5 minutes to the city center. plenty of shops locally for all the essentials. overall a fantastic place to stay. highly recommended.

Great location and ideal apartment

We had a great stay in this apartment. We're a family of 4 with two young kids. The apartment matches the description, is very clean and has everything you need. Reta was very friendly and made sure we had everything, even supplying some toys to keep our 2 year old occupied! The location is ideal in a quiet street, with supermarkets, various interesting shops, cafes, restaurants and a cinema a few minutes walk. There are many regular buses to and from central Edinburgh and other areas around town. Its also relatively central so a pleasant 30 minute walk through Bruntsfield and down through "The Meadows" to the main tourist spots in Edinburgh such as the High Street and Castle etc.

They are a lovely family, and it was a pleasure to give them toys for the kids, we have grandchildren and their toys are available - we can cater for all ages, even grown up kids. It is nice for us when guests appreciate these little extras. They enjoyed the eateries we recommended and made the most of their stay in Edinburgh.

Wonderful place in a wonderful city

We loved this flat. It was very clean and well equipped with just everything you can think of (even a dish washer). The Landloards are very friendly, uncomplicated and really hospitable. The flat has 2 sleeping rooms with double beds, a bath room, a kitchen and a living room with books, magazines and a TV etc. You can easily walk to the city centre of Edinburgh - or take one of the direct buses (its only a few stops to the most beautiful places of Edinburgh). The area itself is very pretty, clean and there is a big supermarket just a few steps from the house. For all those heading to Edinburgh, it could be the chance of staying at a lovely flat with really friendly landloards. A enjoyable citybreak!

We chose this apartment primarily for its location. Situated in the Morningside area of Edinburgh it has all the amenities close by that any self catering guest would need. Morningside is a vibrant area with many shops, bar, restaurants, theatre and cinema. The apartment is in a quiet street a few minutes walk from the main road that runs through Morningside. This is services by many buses that all pass through the city centre within 10 minutes. Alternatively guests can choose to stroll through the leafy streets and across the Meadows Park and into the Old Town area of Edinburgh. This takes around 30 minutes to walk. Many of our returning guests prefer to remain in the Morningside area for a few days of their stay and soak up the local atmosphere.
