Classic, Seaside Farmhouse on Oceanville RoadCove Cottage is a charming farmhouse on the edge of the beautiful Webb Cove. Watch the tide rise and fall from the comfort of this wonderful seaside retreat. Cove Cottage is located on Oceanville Road.
Cove Cottage is a three bedroom, one bathroom home. The cottage is a classic but has recently undergone tasteful improvements, including painting, new mattresses and furniture, a new roof and soon to come: new carpets.
The first floor of the home has the kitchen, the full bathroom, a water view sun porch and the living room. The kitchen is simple, a galley style sink and pantry area which opens to the dining area where the electric range and refrigerator reside. This room is beautiful with an abundance of natural light and classic tin ceilings. The sunroom and entry area on the water side of the house also enjoys good light and a couple of very comfortable seating options in which to enjoy the ever changing landscape of Webb Cove straight ahead.
There is a full bathroom on the main floor with a shower/tub combo plus a washer and dryer. The living room is the final space on the first floor with a new sofa and loveseat, with a HDTV and cable service all set to go.
The second floor of the home has three bedrooms. The first of the bedrooms has a queen bed and views of the cove. The second which has its own private entrance or can be accessed by the first bedroom also has views of Web Cove and a queen bed. Each of these rooms have a closet. The third bedroom has two twin beds, a night stand with lamp and a large closet. All of the bedrooms have brand new mattresses and bedding.
Cove Cottage has a great yard with large oak trees providing shady respite for pleasant afternoons near the seashore. There is a large lawn and a paved drive. Guests can certainly utilize the cove for paddle boarding or kayaking at high tide or pull out their hip boots and dig a pec of clams on the low tide.
Cove Cottage is a great, affordable oceanfront rental opportunity in a popular island location. Come and relax for a while at Cove Cottage in Stonington.

The Island Agency has been in business since 2011, offering Real Estate and Rental services on the Blue Hill Peninsula, specializing in Deer Isle and Stonington Properties.
HOUSE RULES
NO SMOKING
No large parties or gatherings
No fire pits unless advertised and included
CANCELLATION POLICY
All cancellations must be in writing and received by Agent. Cancellations may only be made between the date that a reservation deposit is received and a date determined to be 45 days prior to the tenants scheduled arrival date. Cancelations within 45 days of arrival will not result in a refund in whole or part of rental monies received. If a cancellation is made prior to 45 days of arrival, the Agent shall, as an accommodation to the Tenant, make an effort to re-rent the property at the published rate for the rental term reserved. No refund of rents paid will be made until the canceled period is re-rented and confirmed. If the canceled period is re-rented, any rent and taxes paid will be refunded less a $100 administrative fee. If the re-rental amount is less than the published rate, any difference in rental rate remains the sole obligation of the tenant. If the unit is not re-rented, all rents paid, processing fees and taxes shall be forfeited as damages. This cancellation policy is strictly followed. Tenants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for all vacations to cover many situations that may arise that might cause one to cancel vacation plans. There are many independent insurance providers available to tenants.
I understand that the insurance company holds this policy and that The Island Agency does not determine eligibly of claims.
