The large, open floor plan features a main floor master bedroom and full master bathroom with custom walk-in shower. The living space features a large seating area with high-end furniture to relax and take in the view from the floor-to-ceiling glass gable wall by the stacked-stone fireplace and 60” TV! The main floor also includes a full kitchen with granite countertops, counter seating, a half bathroom and laundry.

The spacious kitchen has everything you need to prepare your favorite meals, stocked and ready for your family get-togethers and holidays! The open dining area has seating for 6 at the table plus 3 at the bar counter. Just out the back door on the main level, you’ll enjoy a large deck with outdoor seating for 4 with a secluded and spectacular view of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Looking to cook over open flame? You’ll have a grill to treat the family to your favorite grilled cuisine.

The lower level is home to 1 full bathroom and 2 bedrooms, each with a flat screen TV. Enjoy some family fun in the spacious game room, complete with large TV, fireplace, pool table and gaming system! The lower level also features a private deck with a hot tub. Enjoy your own private outdoor fire-pit with an evening overlook that will leave you speechless.

All bedrooms feature memory foam mattresses and smart, flat screen TVs. The cabin includes free high-speed WiFi throughout along with Roku/Firesticks connected to each TV so you can log on to your personal Netflix, Hulu, etc. to enjoy your favorite entertainment.

The location of Ridgetop Retreat is truly one of its best amenities. Located on a ridge overlooking the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, you will be immersed in peace and quiet along with spectacular views. The cabin is at the entrance to the Wears Valley and has gorgeous mountains inhabited by incredible wildlife like white-tailed deer and hummingbirds. Minutes down the road is a local grocery store to stock up on any missing essentials. For larger grocery needs, Kroger and Publix are available.


Pigeon Forge is a quick fifteen minutes away. There you will find the many top-rated restaurants and attractions including Dolly Parton’s Dollywood and Stampede, Paula Dean’s Family Kitchen, Old Mill Restaurant, The Hatfield and McCoy Dinner show and so much more. From our cabin the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a short 10 minute drive. You can avoid the busy parkway and enter the National Park through the Wears Valley. This will save you time and eliminate the stress of traffic.

Our guests also enjoy free seasonal access to the Honeysuckle Meadows swimming pool, catch and release fishing pond, picnic tables, and full-service deli and grill conveniently located at the base of the mountain.

Other things to note
The final 50 feet of gravel driveway is pretty steep. AWD or 4WD drive is highly recommended.

Family: Traveling with little ones? Having a toddler, we know how much stuff it takes to pack with your little one. Let us help lighten the load, we provide a pack and play, baby gates for upstairs and downstairs, and a variety of our toddler’s favorite books.

Pets: We love our furry friends just as much as you do. Unfortunately, we have a NO-pet policy due to allergies. We appreciate your understanding.

Easy self check-in: You will be given a personalized code prior to check in for our smart lock on the front door.

Mountain living: Our property is located on a mountain. You can expect a mountain road, wildlife and potentially critters and insects. We do everything possible to limit the amount of insects. Bug spray is recommended if planning to enjoy the outdoor areas.

Hot tub: Enjoy a soak on the private lower deck with an amazing view. Our hot tub is drained and cleaned after every visitor.

We provide a starter pack that includes K cups, one roll of toilet paper per bathroom., a starter supply of bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner, one paper towel roll and dish soap. Please bring additional items that you may need, especially if you plan to have a longer stay.
