Enjoy this cozy but spacious cottage just a short 3 block walk from the Whitewater Park & Greenbelt trail in a very quiet family neighborhood. Close by you can enjoy river surfing, paddle boarding, fishing, restaurants and wineries galore! This stylishly designed 2 bedroom rental is the perfect size for two couples or a young family. It is stocked with essential amenities, plus complimentery fast fiber wifi, and two cruiser bikes. Come and explore Boise, unwind in a little piece of paradise!!

Boise's Westside neighborhood offers a mix of suburban tranquility and urban access, making it a great place for those seeking a more relaxed environment with easy access to outdoor activities, family-friendly amenities, and quick access to downtown Boise.
The outdoor area is be designed for easy flow between indoors and outdoors: the front porch and French doors allow the living space to extend outside.
The neighborhood setting offers a quieter outdoor zone than a downtown high-rise; youâll likely find the yard/porch to be peaceful and comfortable. With access to bikes and the greenbelt, the vibe is active yet relaxedâideal for looks like morning coffee on the porch, evening strolls, or bike rides along the river.
Entry / Entryway
As you enter through the double French doors on the front porch, you step into an entryway room that sets the tone. There are local guidebooks, a chalkboard listing guest favorite spots, and paddle-board themed art as homage to the nearby river recreation.
From here you pass one more door into the main open living area.
Open Living / Kitchen / Dining Area
The living area flows directly into the dining/kitchen zone, giving it an open concept feel.
Kitchen & dining nook: Thereâs a large counter-island with two tall stools, making it a natural gathering spot. Nearby is a dining table seating four. The kitchen is well-equipped (induction burners, microwave, convection oven, toaster, blender, children's dinnerware) and has a dedicated coffee/tea bar.
Living room: Hardwood flooring, trendy rug, comfortable couch + plush armchair, a 50-inch flat screen TV with Netflix/Hulu. The design is cozy yet modern. The décor emphasizes natural light and a calm, stylish vibe with a mix of functionality and comfort.
Bathroom: There is one full bathroom. Features include: sink with mirror + magnifying mirror, a storage cupboard, a tub/shower combo, fluffy towels, and plants in the window to add a welcoming touch.
Primary Bedroom: The Primary bedroom is quiet and inviting, furnished with a king-size âNectarâ memory foam mattress, piled with pillows.
On each side of the bed: end tables; one with sound machine . Also full-length mirror, luggage rack, a jute chair. Storage: dresser + hangers in closet.
Window coverings: white wood blinds for effective light-blocking, plus decent privacy. The décor uses earthy tones and wood accents Temperature control: ductless heat/AC.
Bonus: packânâplay stored in this room for little ones.
Loft / Upstairs Bedroom
Second Bedroom: another bedroom is located upstairs via âsecret doorâ adjacent to the master. It's loftâstyle, offering a queen âNectarâ memory foam bed. It has shelving for kidsâ books and toys (so friendly for families), a closet with hangers/storage bins, wooden shades for darkness, heating/AC via ductless system, and cozy dĂ©cor including a throw.
Laundry Room
Laundry: Off the back of the kitchen is a sizeable laundry room: stackable washer/dryer, basic cleaning supplies (broom, dustpan, mop, snow shovel if needed). Iron/ironing board in pantry. It also has an ownerâs closet and cleanerâs closet (for the hosts) but access is basically tucked away so guests have a clean space to use if needed.
The local public transit agency, Valley Regional Transit (VRT), operates fixed-route bus services in the area.
One of the main lines serving this general region is Route 9 (State Street), which runs along West State Street and stops at/near âState & Whitewater Park Blvdâ.
There is a bus stop listed at State & Whitewater Park Blvd, 3185 W State St near the whitewater park area.
Walking or biking may sometimes be more convenient than relying strictly on bus service and car rental is optimal for exploring the Boise areaThe cityâs bike/pedestrian network includes the Boise River Greenbelt â a paved trail system that runs along the river and connects many parts of the city, including west side neighborhoods.
Scooter and e-bike sharing services (like the Lime scooters) are available, including discounts in certain âEquity Zoneâ neighborhoods on the west side.
We are approximately 5-6 miles from Boise Airport (BOI), so depending on traffic and route, you should allow about 10-15 minutes driving time.
The Villa is the name of the rear 3 bedroom 2 bath unit and can be joined together with our Boise Whitewater Cottage property for larger group rental for a total of 5 bedrooms 3 baths, sleeping 12 people. The Cottage is a 2 bedroom/1 bath property. That larger property is advertised on Airbnb as the Boise Whitewater Grande Villa and features some of the same pictures of the Villa, but with different pricing.
The driveway is reserved for the Villa. Cottage guests can use it to unpack their belongings on arrival if unoccupied but are then requested to immediately move their vehicles to the free and unrestricted street parking, located right in front of the property. Please do not park in front of the yellow house next door.
Cottage guests are advised to keep their pantry door closed on other side of the pass though door so noise doesn't carry through to the guests in the Villa.
We are a quiet neighborhood. Please keep outside noise to a minimum after 10pm. Any complaints from neighbors regarding noise are grounds for your reservation to be terminated without a refund.

NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay.
