«Hook House»… une escapade idéale pour la famille, le week-end en couple, une sortie de pêche ou tout simplement un lieu de détente et d’évasion. "Hook House" est une maison de ranch confortable au bord du lac de 1 niveau avec 3 chambres dans une crique calme et conviviale. Profitez de la grande terrasse et projeté dans le porche. Cette maison au bord du lac dispose d'une belle vue sur le lac, une rampe de bateau, et un quai de bateau 8 glissement avec un bordereau ouvert pour votre bateau. La pêche est bonne et la belle rampe en béton offre une entrée nulle au lac pour monter sur votre radeau ou nager. Utilisez notre cuisine entièrement équipée et notre gril à charbon pour nourrir votre équipage. 6-7 personnes avec 1 lit queen, 1 lit double, 1 lit superposé (double en haut, double en bas), chacune dans sa propre chambre et un canapé convertible dans le salon. Profitez également des jeux de société ou de notre bibliothèque VHS et DVD pour la télévision (ou apportez la vôtre). TV accepte également Amazon Fire Stick, si vous en avez un. Laveuse et sécheuse sont disponibles dans le "lavoir". Cette maison, située sur Maritime Lane à Roach, dans le Missouri, a fourni des années de plaisir au lac pendant des générations!

Great time!

We stayed here for 4 nights in June. The house is really well stocked with everything you could need! There are even life jackets, extra beach towels, a floating mat and kayaks. The house is older but well decorated. The kitchen and baths appear to have been recently redone. The owner, Lynn, was very communicative and the check in process was easy. The only thing we found about the house that we weren't crazy about is it is fairly close to one of the bigger channels of the lake so the water around the dock and swimming area can get pretty choppy during the busy times but my kids were still able to float, swim and kayak without any difficulty. We have it on our list to come back though!

Wonderful Experience

We just finished up a wonderful four night stay here. I can't say enough about the quality of the property. The view to the lake from the house and the deck was wonderful. We ate at the table at the lakeside on two nights as the sun started to set. It was easy to use the kayaks and the cove is quiet and calm. We had tentatively planned things like cave visits and the water park, but never did that because we preferred staying at the property! This is a gem.

Great family cabin with kayaks!

We had a wonderful time at the Hook House. The house is located on a protected cove with a nice little nature area to explore- and fish- with the provided kayaks. Kept my boys (18, 15, 12) entertained for hours-- in addition to fishing from shore. They were able to catch bass, catfish, gar, and drum. We had bonfires at night and spent the hot afternoons on the swim pad. Lynn was very responsive to emails and offered some local suggestions. It was a great getaway for our family of 5-- so much that we didn't go an do any of the "touristy" things but rather spent all of our time at the cabin.

My family and I really had a great time at the Hook House. We spent a lot of time staying cool in the water and catching fish. The access to the water was perfect for my fishing boat and jet skis. The Hook House was perfect for dinners too. The area is very spacious and the big windows and patio doors give great views of the lake. Thank you for having us and we look forward to our next stay. Awesome place!

We loved this place! Plenty of room for all of us. Lynn was great! She made sure we had everything we needed. We were able to use her float pad, four kayaks, and the paddle board! The fishing was great as well. Very nice place to stay! Had WiFi as well. Very accommodating! We will be back!

My daughter and myself traveled to the Ozarks for the purpose of playing softball. We wanted something on the water and close to the Ballparks National complex. The Hook House was perfect, I highly recommend it!!

Wonderful, quiet location

Our family loved our time at Hook House. The zero entry swim area was perfect and our kids swam for hours, and it was great to have access to the kayaks. The location is very quiet, and we loved sitting out on the deck in the evenings enjoying the animal sounds. The house had everything we needed to keep us comfortable. Everything was clean and in good working order. The host was very gracious and welcoming.

Beautiful rental and excellent host

Lynn greeted us as we arrived to give us the lay of the land. The house was well equipped for the stay with our 2 & 4 year old. The swing, kayaks, floating swim pad and dock were all used. We would 1000% stay again.

Girls getaway

Had an amazing time. Owners were thoughtful in providing ice, a cooler and a grill for us. They also provided kayaks and a water mat for us to use during our entire stay. Any questions they were able answer right away and give recommendations for us. Truly enjoyed our stay at Hook House!

Excellent!

Beautiful and convenient location. Lynn had everything we needed to make our 4 days perfect. The Hook House was very clean and set up perfectly. The home was well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. We used the firepit every night. Charcoal grill and kayaks were used. Lynn had charcoal and lighter fluid all ready for us. Fishing from the dock was so relaxing. Location was set back in a cove with easy access to the main lake area. Peaceful! There is a convenient mart a few miles away with live bait. A Walmart was only 20 minutes away. Beautiful and peaceful. It was truly a great getaway. Thank you Lynn!

Lynn and her husband are Fantastic! The house is perfect for our family and has a beautiful view of our favorite spot on the lake. Wish we could stay all year long!!!

Wonderful family getaway

Lynn was an awesome host! Everything was ready to go and if we needed anything or had any issues (which we didn't) she was readily available. Plenty of room for the six of us. Location was great, both on the water and proximity to Camdenton, Osage Beach and the dam. Kids absolutely LOVED the zero entry access to the water. The boat ramp was also perfect for getting waverunners in and out, made use of the empty slip all week, very convenient. Would not hesitate to make this a frequent stay for future lake visits. Thanks again Lynn!

AMAZING

We had a wonderful stay. It was too short but besides that we had just the best time. The house is perfect for a family. We have a 2 and 4 year old who could not have had a better time. The zero entry access was awesome for small kids. Water use are highly recommended because it is a little rocky but an easy entry into the water. Our kids played and played. Thanks so much Lynn!!!!

Ozark Getaway

We enjoyed our time at Hook House! Our kids wanted to stay permanently. It is a quieter spot on the lake which we loved. We were close to Ha Ha Tonka and many other great places to visit. We especially enjoyed the big deck overlooking the lake! Thanks for a great stay, Lynn!

Lynn was the sweetest person I have ever rented from, and very efficient. The house was in a great location and had everything we needed. We would definitely rent this house again!

A Hidden Gem

This place was just exactly perfect for us. The host couldn’t have been any nicer, or more accommodating. The place was quiet, and had absolutely everything we needed for a great time at the lake with our three kids. The house was exceptionally clean, and very kid-friendly. There is a large, fairly flat lawn that our little people just loved playing on, and a deck that easily accommodated our group, as well as several other guests. The view was beautiful, and our stay was perfect. We will definitely stay here again.

The "Hook House" was Heaven!

The Hook house perfect for my family of 4. Lynn met us at the door and was about a sweet as they come! It was easy to see she takes pride in her property and she should! Pictures didn't do it justice. She thought of everything a renter would want or need and was available to offer things we forgot...like BBQ sauce and water toys! I have rented many cabins over the years but none as cute, quiet, and CLEAN as this one! It was Immaculate! The property was easy to get to and close to Camdenton/Osage Beach! The lot was a gem! The grass mowed, the zero entry to the lake was awesome and they had a dock/slip if u need it. I highly recommend this rental!

Absolutely amazing!

The property is beautiful! Right on the lake, perfect views, walk in water access in a quiet family oriented community. The property owner was perfect, made us feel like we were at home and like we had known each other for years! The home was spacious, fully furnished down to the littlest things. We couldn't have gotten any luckier with this property. Very affordable. We were within 30 minutes of every major attraction, restaurant and marina. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommend

Growing up, I spent many summers enjoying my aunt & uncle's 'Camp Niangua' at the Lake of the Ozarks (Lake Rd 5-88). Mark and I purchased the Hook House so we could have our own children enjoy time at the lake with us. We live in Iowa and spend as much time as we can at the lake. Our children are busy and we found we had times when we could offer the house to others. Mark is a 4th generation farmer, farming the original family farm established in 1864. I am a retired elementary principal.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This property is in a quiet cove located on the Little Niangua, 7 miles off the 31 mile mark of the Osage. Wilbur Hook purchased the property in the 1970's and since then, the property has been called the 'Hook House'. The original cabin was a duplex, once part of Tall Timbers Resort. The Hook's remodeled, making it a single family cabin. Mark and I instantly fell in love with the cabin, even though we saw it needed some 'attention', we have enjoyed cleaning it up and redecorating the interior together.
The view and the quiet cove are hard to beat. Add in G & G Marina 'just around the bend', proximity to Camdenton, Ha Ha Tonka State Park, Lake Valley Golf Course, Ballparks National, and Osage Beach offering many activities and restaurant choices... we think you will enjoy your Hook House stay!
