This beautiful vacation rental is located at The Omni Resort at Amelia Island and includes a private balcony, a well-equipped kitchen, a private washer/dryer, a shared pool, and high-speed WiFi. Enjoy all the beauty of The Omni Resort at Amelia Island, just a short drive to charming downtown Fernandina!

Turtle Dunes is located inside The Omni Resort at Amelia Island with 24-hour security in a private gated community.

Things to Know Be sure to check out the newly added Pickleball Court! There is some repair work being done on the pool bathrooms, expected completion date of March 5th. Please be advised that the restroom facilities will be temporarily unavailable for the duration of the project. However, the pool will remain open. Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Trailers and motorcycles are prohibited in this community

Not great communication with property management. Never got any response to voicemail messages. Didn't get any check in instructions until 1 1/2 days before arrival. Code for door didn't work until several minutes after check in time which was concerning only because of lack of communication before. Once we got in condo was great and well stocked.

Location Location Location

Great resort and beach location. The condo was great nothing bad to say, the kitchen was very well stocked with what you needed. Very spacious, the balcony was a plus in the evening looking over the beach. Definitely will come again.

Sisters Getaway

Spent a lovely week here. Fabulous location. Beach. Property. Really enjoyed it. Resort area so beautiful. Rented em bikes from Pedego store by Harris Teeter and explored Talbot state park. Beautiful. I highly recommend. Town of Fernandina beach is lovely. We had a goiurmet tapas meal at Espana in town. Excellent vacation.

I need a vacation from my vacation!!

It started off great. I will start by saying when we first arrived I noticed where water had apparently leaked across the bedroom ceiling in the past BUT I assumed that it had been fixed. WRONG!!! A storm in. The morning AFTER the storm my daughter informs me the ceiling was leaking in our bedroom. It started off as drips all over my bed and floor. My cousin, daughter and I quickly went and got anything we could find to catch the water in. Then it changed to basically raining on my side of the room. We moved the queen size bed and kept trying to clean up where it was leaking all over. Once we thought we got that handled I called Vacasa and left a voicemail. They weren't open. LONG story short I spoke w/ Angel and later I spoke w/ Mariah w/ Vacasa. Mariah admitted on that phone that we “saved” the floor and the bed and saved the owner “thousands of dollars” and said to thank us she was going to treat the 3 of us to a “nice” dinner “and for whatever” with a gift card. I thought the gift card would be to the amount of the last 2 nights we were there for all the inconvenience of all the equipment and calls and people coming in and out of the condo. We had a total of 4 VERY LOUD commercial fans in the condo. It literally sounded like a jet was in the condo. We were to run these fans 24/7. Not restful at all! Then Mariah came and gave us a gift card for $100. My cousin was insulted and voiced her opinion. Mariah told us it was our fault we were there during the storm. Mariah told me the day b4 we were a miracle. Remember, the leak started AFTER the storm. Then when my cousin asked her name she literally ran to the elevator as my cousin kept asking for her name She changed her name to Lisa. We could not enjoy our last two days because of their neglect of the condo. I could not enjoy the good weather we finally had because I was taking care of the condo problems. Oh... and they did not even call to let us know when all these people were coming. One person was in the condo in the bedroom where our purses etc. were just sitting out when we came back from the beach. All staff were told “no one is in the condo.” Lastly, The man from the “condo association” used a fancy water reader and found “lots” of water behind the wall in the living room too. It's saddens me because I believe the owner KNEW about all this damage and chose to rent it out anyway. Owner, if you are reading this PLEASE take down your cross and framed scripture. It gives us a bad name.

Beautiful Apartment Great View

It was very nice except the master bedroom bedspread, pillow shams and pillows in the pillow shams and on the bed were dirty and smelly. I washed and dried two pillows so I could sleep on the bed. Found a clean blanket in the closet. Only had three towels. Management sent clean towels and linens. But don't put those items back on the bed until they are laundered.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved so much about this place when booking, but there was construction on the beach that involved large equipment and huge pipes that prevented the access and view we thought we would have and there is a leak in the ceiling over one of the beds that we came home to. The queen bed nearest the sliding window was soaked.

Relaxing and calm

I feel the pictures accurately portray the unit. The decor and feel are good and location appropriate. There are enough kitchen items and utensils/glassware to get you through the days/week. There is a lot of space, which I would've loved to use more of if our stay was longer! The view can't be beat (but maybe an official heads up on planned or scheduled county/city beach rejuvenation work could be made aware of in the future, but I understand that can't be controlled). Building pool cleanliness needs some attention. The building is at the far south end of the AIP property and zero parking issues post Labor day (but I would hate to have more than 1 vehicle there in busy season). I hope to be back.

Peaceful getaway! So far the best condo we have ever rented.

Very peaceful location. This is by far the best condo we have ever rented! The bed was comfortable and the condo had everything we needed. The property was gorgeous and there was very minimal people there. There was beach dredging going on right in front of out condo but they had stopped work the majority of the time and was just hanging out. Did research and dredging not been done in the area for 11 years. So, just our luck but not a lot of noise and did not walk far for beach access. We will be returning!

Gorgeous Condo in Amazing Resort!

This condo is just gorgeous. The resort is amazing too with great bike trails, nice pool area, tennis courts and great beach view except....the beach refurbishment project that was going on 24/7 with loud dump trucks. It would have been nice to have been notified of this in the listing. Our beach view was obstructed by the construction. Yes, were were able to walk to the far left or far right to access the beach but due to the refurbishment efforts, the shells make it difficult to enjoy the water. I spent a great of money for this unit due to the beach view/access so that was disappointing. This should have been noted on the listing.

Peaceful condo

Took the wife here for our anniversary. Condo was just as in the pictures, updated and very nice. Beautiful view and quiet property. Pool and beach weren’t very busy at all. Was worried about the dredging out back and the noise but they stopped after our first night for some reason. Was happy for that. Only thing I would change is the master bed, very soft and we weren’t used to that. Hopefully we will visit again.

I notified management several times but it never improved. There were a lot of renters when we were there, so I’m guessing that a pool with that many guests needs daily cleaning and checking chemicals to keep fresh.

Great newly renovated Oceanview rental!

She even mentioned the decorations were just her style. It’s right in the beach with incredible views from all rooms. The quality of the towels, furniture and kitchenware was excellent. The only reason I didn’t give it all five starts:Digital lock was DOA on arrival. Couldn’t get in unit Property manager was quick to come and provide hard keys until it was repaired a few days later. Cleaning crew must have left AC too high. AC unit froze up within the first few hours of arrival. Found a half eaten carton of ice cream in the freezer upon arrival. Dishwasher did not work. Maintenance person was able to fix with a reset if the breaker within 24 hours.

Absolutely the best vacation

We has a spectacular time! Unit was spotless & very well appointed! Dishes including pots & pans were new, not the owners hand-me-downs. View from BOTH patios was amazing! We enjoyed our time so much we extended our stay for an additional night- which was a seamless process. We have already begun planning our next visit!
