This house was the best we have ever stayed in. It was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. The management team is superb. They are very nice people and professionals. Having canal there adds a lot to the relaxing atmosphere. Now, if you want to fish there, you will need a saltwater fishing license. At least, this is what I found via online search of saltwater maps in Cape Coral. We stayed in late July-early August. So, fish didnât not cooperate regardless what kind of bite we used. The only fish we have caught was a catfish. We saw tons of birds there and a school of blue fish. So, treat yourself, rent this house, and make great memories. You will not regret it.
The house was just as described, in fact bigger than we expected! It was extremely clean, the pool was a delight, the house was stocked with the things we needed ie; kitchen appliances, pool floats ect... The ocean was a 40 minute drive but that actually suited us well. There are several beaches within an hour drive. Instead of staying directly on the beach and only seeing a small portion, we went to several beaches and saw much more. I would definitely recommend this property and plan on staying again soon!
This was our first time in Cape Coral, and not staying directly on the beach. We loved it! The views were serene, the neighborhood was quiet, and the pool was a hit! There were 5 of us, and we were able to enjoy time together and in our own space. It was like being at home without the hustle and bustle of busy schedules - just what we needed after a challenging COVID school year.
The house was a nice layout and the view was awesome. But when we arrived, on Friday for our vacation, the AC was not working (85 degrees in the house) and the repair was brushed off until the next afternoon. I am a contractor so when the AC contractor came, we discussed the unit and why it wasn't cooling. The repair man drove up the head pressure on the unit by adding extra coolant and he said it would would last until Tuesday when he would come back and change out a part on the unit that allows the Freon to convert and cool. That never happened. That repair worked a little at night but not at all during the day. Then we were told that we could move out, by email/not by voice, (with a full refund) or transfer to another house once it was open on Tuesday afternoon (We arrived on Friday) . Which we only had 3 days left on our vacation. And on top of it, we were brushed off by the manager of the house like it wasn't any big deal (Just get in the pool). Problem is you cant sleep in a pool. LOL The ac was never fixed so we were forced to deal with it for the rest of the week. I emailed the manager on Monday, after we got home, and asked them if there was any type of compensation they could offer and we have yet heard back from them. It is now Wednesday, Not even a sorry. I am a reasonable person and almost never resort to leaving a bad review. SO this is the only reason I am writing this review. We will see if this prompts a response. If not beware of NO AC in Florida, in the summer, in this house for your vacation. Just a heads up, just in case you arrive to this property and the AC is not working properly. You will know it has been going on before you arrived.
We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our vacation in this home! The house was everything we needed for my family of 5. My kids loved swimming in the pool. My husband and I enjoyed lounging in the outdoor screened in area while watching the fish jump in the canal. The location is great! Close enough to drive to all of the gorgeous beaches and islands. We will be back!
We were in Cape Coral visiting a long lost friend. This house was very impressive. From the moment we first walked in, it was super clean and inviting, they even had music playing in the house to welcome us. Seriously this had to have been the cleanest home we've stayed in. My friends and I enjoyed the heated pool and the water view from the lanai was so nice. We spent many days and nights relaxing in the lanai chatting and just looking out at the water. The neighborhood was quiet and there in a nice stretch of water way across from the lanai which made for a beautiful water view. Also many many fantastic restaurants nearby , too many to list but brunch at Point 57 Kitchen was our favorite.
This home has absolutely everything you need for vacation. It is a very large 3 bedroom home with lots of space inside and outside. The pool is beautiful and the view from the pool is stunning. The home is in a quiet residential area. They also provide pool floats for the pool and beach chairs with many other handy things for trips to the beach. It's a nice location between Fort Meyers and Naples. We went to both beach areas during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
The name says it all, this "Wischis Florida Home" has that certain Key West flair that you canât miss and will want to enjoy over and over again. Located on a wide canal you can observe the jumping fish alongside other Florida wildlife.
