The house was exceptionally clean. This house sits next to a train track and the whistle blows at all hours of the night. This did interrupt our sleep. Despite the cleanliness of the home there is a musty smell.

The code given to open the door by the host in the check in process was different than the one to open the actual front door. The beds are all listed as queen size however the one downstairs was not bigger than a full. Train is very loud and runs all hours of the day and even shakes the house at night. Parking was also confusing with the taco truck especially when told to park on one side of the house but the taco truck told us to move to the other side that was blocked off by rope and caution tape.

We will review our check-in instructions to make sure everything is as clear as possible for future guests. For clarification, the downstairs bed is a queen-size bed, as reflected in our listing. As disclosed in the listing, the home is located next to train tracks. We understand that the train noise may be more noticeable to some guests than others, which is why we include that information so guests are aware prior to booking. The parking area can also be a little confusing at first because the home backs up to commercial property. The private driveway specifically for the home is located on the left side of the house. The taco truck is located on the adjoining commercial property and is separate from the home’s private parking area. We apologize for any confusion caused by conflicting directions. We also noted in the listing that we are currently relandscaping and improving the exterior of the property and asked for guests’ patience while those improvements are being completed. The ropes and caution tape were temporary while that work was underway. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to make our check-in and parking instructions even clearer for future guests.

The space was clean and easy to access. We found the sleeping arrangements a bit disappointing for 8 adults, and some attention should be paid to seating for meals for 8 people, as well. We had to pull chairs from the living room and bedroom to seat everyone. Check-in was great, and the host actually met with us, which was great.

This property was not as described. The location next to the Train is very disruptive, waking us up several times during the night. The directions for operating the keypad are not correct as well as the wifi password is incorrect on paperwork inside the house. The furnishings are junk!!! Very uncomfortable beds!! The air-conditioning is terrible. There is a damp, musty smell at all times. The yard is gross and the windows were filthy. The stove and oven were not clean. The toilet in the master bathroom did not flush properly. You had to take the lid off of the tank and manually pull the chain inside the tank in order to flush the toilet. Food trucks park in front of the property and customers lined up in the driveway making it difficult to park. We would not stay at this property again. We have stayed at many VRBO's and have never been this uncomfortable and dissatisfied!!

We asked to be able to drop off luggage around 1 check in was 3 when we arrived the house wasn’t cleaned yet, we left the host a message and it was then cleaned we where not coming back till later that night so was ok. We stayed with our daughter and family and had plenty of room for all of us. Didn’t do a lot of shopping but we knew about the shops in kimswick just ran out of time did grants farm and zoo and may parks around. Host answered all questions in a timely manner. Early on in the reservation process I added a day and then took it out and was supposed to be reimbursed for the one day and haven’t gotten a refund yet but she said she would check on it. We stayed 16 days and could have been more stocked up on things like paper towels and toilet paper but made it work. Our only problem we had was the location of house to train, train sounded like it was coming through the house at all hours of the day and night didn’t find this out until it was to late to cancel I do believe the host might have had other properties that we could have maybe changed to something else.
